Fred was my dentist for over seven years and was always professional, friendly and easy to work with. Like I commented, he is on the expensive side but the work is top notch — these are your teeth.

So I’d like to start out by saying the staff at Dr. Dahm’s office is really great, as is Dr. Dahm himself. My problem with them is twofold. My first appt where I had some fillings done in the upper left quadrant of my mouth went off fine until I got my explanation of benefits from my dental insurance. It showed that it covered almost $ 100 more than what Dr. Dahm’s office had said, and they did not refund my money(to be fair, I haven’t asked). The second time I went I had extensive work done to three quadrants of my mouth. I work at a job where I can hardly get time off, and live far away so the only way I would be able to get in is to switch shift with someone, or take the day off(which is like pulling teeth, no pun intended). Here is my issue; I called them on a weekend and left an urgent message because it feels like he left a nerve exposed in one of the teeth so it is very painful. No call back. I request time off and it takes me three weeks to get approval. I immediately contact Dr. Dahm’s office to try to get in for an urgent fix, and am told that I will have to wait until Tues or some other time next week to get an appt. So obviously the comfort of their pt is not a priority for them I spent a SIGNIFICANT amount of money at that office. I was also told that my insurance had covered $ 2000, when it only covered $ 1700 and there was a large out of pocket expense. Billing seems a little fishy at this place. In closing, I fully intend on finding a new dentist which is too bad considering the amount of money I dumped into this establishment. WARNINGTOALLWHOGOTOTHISESTABLISHMENT: Do not expect them to squeeze you in if they made a mistake on your dental work. They will fit you in at their convenience.

If I could give negative stars I would. Just like another reviewer stated — Their billing differs from my explanation of benefits from my dental insurance provider. I need to know how much money I’m going to spend out of pocket BEFORE I get the treatment. To then get said treatment and be billed for an exuberant amount of money is NOT proper business ethics. Get your billing straight, take care of your patients ESPECIALLY if YOU need to fix a mistake YOU made to their teeth. For real people. DONOTGOTOTHISDENTIST. PERIOD. YOUHAVEBEENWARNED.
