I really wanted to like this place. Their pizzas sounded great/yummy when I was scouring their website. Placing the order itself was a pain in the patootey! Seriously I have not had to navigate such an annoying website for just a simple pizza order. If it wasn’t for a 50% off deal I would have not even bothered. Scheduled for a pickup since it was right down the road, the one guy in the store was friendly enough but even being 5 minutes late my pizza was not ready when they said it would be. Pizza itself was nothing to write home about, ~especially~ considering how pricey that can be compared to other places round town. If Im gonna plop down $ 18+ for a pie I want it to kick ass! And this was certainly lacking. I’ve had digiorno pizzas that tasted better. Unless I happen on another über coupon deal, I’ll stick to other pizza joints.

I have a three week old bebe and have had to cut out gluten and dairy from my diet. Garlic jims has been a little slice of normality for me. My son is super sensitive to gluten and dairy, as in no one sleeps if he is exposed to it. I just ordered my gluten free pizza but spaced it about asking for it to be dairy free as well. I called as soon as I realize my mistake and they had just put pizza in the oven. They are now remaking my pizza to be gluten and dairy free, for this in my book five stars… thank you so much! The pizza was soo good! I will def be ordering again!

…pretty much sucks. Ordered their ultimate or whatever it’s called. and some hot wings. The wings were FAR from hot. I doubt they were sauced/spiced ATALL, and to be honest… Little Caesars(which is only good considering the cost is less than a decent lunch) is just as good. Order from pizza hut or domino’s for less money and get the same quality of food. Called back and asked about the wings… response? «Yeah, that’s how they give ‘em to us. we dont put any sauce or anything on ‘em» SOOOOO. yeah pretty much WORSTWINGSEVER!

Nothing like ordering pizza only to have my husband get called a liar and then have to re-sauce and re-bake the pizza I just paid $ 20 to have delivered. So disappointed. I love sauce. In fact, I consider most foods to be a vehicle for sauce, and pizza is no exception. Therefore, I like to order my pizza with extra sauce. When the pizza arrived, I opened the box with great excitement — only to find an almost sauceless pizza. My husband and I decided to give it a try and, well, it was terrible. In fact, we should have ordered Pizza Hut. We called to see what could be done about the situation(discount, more sauce, etc.) and we were at first called liars. The guy my husband talked to said that he sauced it himself, and it was a lot of sauce. My husband eventually talked to the manager who said she boxed the pizza and there was a lot of sauce on it. When he informed her this was not the case, she offered us 20% off our next order. Yeah, cause after getting crappy pizza and being called liars, we want more pizza from you. Finally we got them to bring us extra sauce(’cause the whole point in delivery is not having to leave the house, and we had no pizza sauce lying around). When the delivery guy arrived, he presented us with enough sauce to moisten my crust. Whatever, at least it was time to eat. So, we sat down to actually eat our(now cold) pizza, and discovered it was undercooked. Awesome. So, now our pizza is in the oven. Hopefully, there is magic in the oven and, when the pizza comes out, it won’t suck. Or, better yet, the oven is a gateway to Giordano’s… Yeah…

I wrote a somewhat negative review of Garlic Jim’s in Renton. I was immediately contacted(several times) by the new franchise owner, Pammi. She apologized for my experience and explained that she had just taken over the franchise and was determined to provide the best quality food and service. She provided us with another pizza free of charge that she made herself. It was certainly better, so I am raising my rating from 3 to 4. I was very impressed with her sincere interest to provide the best quality food. I am sure she will do well as the new manager. (Here is my previous review…) Garlic Jim’s in Renton used to be great. I loved their copious use of roasted garlic cloves. The toppings were creative and delicious. We just had some pizze last night and we were both disappointed. It was OK but used to be great. Hopefully this was a one off bad experience and they will continue with outstanding pizzas. We may give them one more chance before we go elsewhere.

This is the place I get my delivered pizza from. Yum. The delivery time is minimal. The delivery people are friendly. Yum. I love this pizza. A bit pricey, though pizza really is worth the $$$$. Good quality cheese, meat, dough. Deliciously cooked and the soda is always cold on delivery. Pizza HOT and melty on delivery. Yum.

I have eaten Garlic Jim’s pizza, but not been to any of their restaurants. Some unusual pizza combinations… such as the Nutty Chipotle, which is spicy with cashew nuts. And very tasty!

My shortest review ever: OK middle-of-the-road pizza… pretty good flavor sauce and ingredients with thin, garlic crusts. You could do a lot worse for pizza.

This is standard delivery pizza, not«gourmet» by any sense. Aside from a few unique toppings, I see no reason for the price premium over Papa John’s. The cheese is greasy(enough to leave a residue in your mouth) and the crust is very similar to Papa John’s except less sweet. Everything is quite average, though they seem to use little sauce. All in all not a pizza worth trying if you’re used to other chain pizza.

The first and only time I ordered from this place, we had a super long wait, unfriendly staff, and the manager was in the back yelling things about using expired dough and to «CHECKTHEEXPIRATIONDATE». There were coupon flyers behind the counter, but no one offered to let us use a coupon and it was their«Grand Opening». Talk about EXPENSIVE. AND to TOPITOFF(ha ha!), I got a large TOMATOHORNWORM as part of my toppings. That I didn’t notice until I brought the pizza home and was sitting down to eat it. The worm fell out of the side and I thought it was a sun dried tomato and just about popped it in my mouth… except that I’ve had anoles before, and you feed them mealworms. And this. looked. just. like. a MEALWORM! So I called Garlic Jims and told them the deal. They made me DRIVEALLTHEWAYBACKTHERE(um, gas is really expensive guys!) and their only offer of reimbursement was to refund my money and offer a free pizza next time I came. They didn’t want to remake my pizza, no offer for gas driving to and from to pick up and take back my pizza AND they were STILL rude and unfriendly! I will *never* eat there again. At least not the Renton one! And I hear that you are probably safe from Tomato Horn Worms if you don’t order Sun Dried Tomatoes. :P Too bad, the pizza looked pretty good.

pretty much your standard delivery. pretty tasty but not over the top. i had the veggie and i thought they could have been a little more generous with the toppings. a little over-priced at 20 bucks for a 14″…

Garlic Jim’s is my go-to pizza delivery restaurant. The menu is extensive and they have fantastic fresh toppings. The crust is really what makes Garlic Jim’s different(and better) from the rest. I think that they put garlic in the crust — but it is also chewy and delicious. The sauce is a bit spicy and filled with flavor — much more than you’d expect from delivery. I have enjoyed both the Ultimate(Pepperoni, Canadian Bacon, Italian Sausage, Red Onions, Olives, Mushrooms, Green Peppers and Extra Cheese) and the Gourmet Garlic(Pesto Sauce, Marinated Artichoke Hearts, Red Onions, Roasted Garlic, Sun-Dried Tomatoes and Feta Cheese). The cheese bread is also to die for! They also deliver drinks and ice cream!

After Ruth lit her place on fire, Scott, Aimee, and Christy showed up too. The one pizza from Papa Murphy’s turned in to an appetizer. We all threw our money into the pot and ordered some Garlic Jim’s to supplement. It was surprisingly good. Kinda thick, chewy crust. Not too much grease. Good flavor mix that wasn’t too strong… the right pairing was Heineken, not Pyramid Snowcap. It went well with the Oreo Ice cream for dessert.
