H&R Block

We’ve been happily filing our taxes with H&R block for the last 4 years and have always had a pleasant, easy, and quick experience with them (always at different H&R block locations… we move a lot). Well this year we went in for a «double check» at this Renton location and the lady that was «helping» us basically grilled us on everything we had filed a week before and seemed extremely annoyed that we were wasting her time and didn’t want anything to do with us. Cold, unfriendly, and unhelpful. Definitely a waste of an hour. My advice: go to a different H&R. This one was very unprofessional.

Last week I called to see about scheduling a time for a tax return. The receptionist was helpful and professional. After a few questions I was able to schedule a time that was convenient for my wife and I. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted and again the receptionist was very professional and courteous to our needs. Our tax professional Jeff was very helpful and answered all of our questions and concerns to our satisfaction. After the return was finished he informed us that we could bring the prior years tax return for a free look and any work or changes would also be free. He called again a few days later to remind me which I found to be good of him to do.
This site met all our needs and I would recommend it to anyone looking for help with their taxes.
(Also if you are not satisfied you do not have to pay unless all the documentation was signed and printed)

Convenient, fast, and easy, though the accountants look knowledgable the whole process is done by a proprietary computer program.
The filing fees could be steep depending on how many attachments are added.
This branch is open seasonally January to April 15 and by appointment there after.
