Kennydale Shell

I witnessed a customer verbally attack one of the employees behind the counter. This customer was argumentative and very unreasonable. The employee was great, communicated calmly and provided excellent service the entire time.

I started going to this shell after a scum bag employee at the Cheveron across the street was being a jerk-​off.
I had one of the most interesting gas station experiences ever at this place.
One morning I walk in around 6am and the nice little girl behind the counter who speaks broken english was there smiling.
I’m in the back trying to find a granola bar or something and then I realize she has a radio turned up really loud… except it’s not pumping out beats,
I hear what sounds like a really calm voice talking about Hitler, cattle mutalations, contrails are really CHEMtrails, communism… it was wild!
I asked her; «What the hell are you listening to?» she smiled and turned it off.
It was almost like some cult or religous nut group came in and made her drink some Kool Aid which convinced her to listen to this insane propaganda tape. I wanted her to keep playing it, because I had never heard anything so insane in my life… it was GREAT!
I keep coming back because it’s easy in and out.

I normally don’t review gas stations, but I have a funny story.
We had just made the drive from Scottsdale to Kirkland and we had stopped for dinner. We were tired after driving 1,450 miles over two days and were heading south for the hotel near Sea-​Tac.
Well, we forgot we were near empty and got on the 405 in Kirkland not thinking. I know, dumb move and a rookie mistake! The fuel light came on just as we passed the 90 interchange and my mind started to race thinking could we make it down to Renton?
Well along comes Kennydale Shell just in time. Boy, did we appreciate seeing their sign. The only thing that made it better was the QFC/​Koger 10 cents off discount that you get at Shell!
As the say, easy on, easy off!

It’s a gas station… What more is there to say?
It pumps gas. It is easy to get to off the free way. It is close to the airport if you need to fill up a rental before drop off…
