I love this place. Whenever I need something more than repairs I or my BF can do I go straight to these guys. On 2÷17÷2016 I stopped in to see if they could tell me why my Expedition makes a clunk noise when I am in reverse and turning out of a parking space. The guy at the front desk put my truck on the lift and saw that I had 1 bolt missing out of the 2 in my steering assembly. He found it in the pan that is right below the bolt luckly. He put the bolt back in and I have no more clunking. He said had the other bolt broke I would have lost my ability to steer. It is kind of like saving our lives possibly?
Anyway he did this in 30 mins and for free. It might be because I have been going to them for several years now and could see that they were my go-​to auto repair place. It pays to be loyal but it is easy to be loyal to this place. I totally trust them with my truck. I am so glad I have found them.
I brought them cookies the next day as a thank you. — loyal customer!

Bad service. Unprofessional employees and this was in the first 5 mins of interaction after waiting 10 mins for someone to help me.
I bought a groupon for an oil change combo and they didn’t even have all materials and machines working for the service. The tech said he can do part of what’s offered on the deal if I forgo other parts of service that’s unavailable. That’s a bit sketchy.
I’d pass. And I did. Got my refund and went to Jiffy Lube.

INFINITI QX4– PAID $ 700 TO DO THE TUNE UP AND WAS ASSURED THE MISFIRE WILL GO AWAY AND IT NEVER DID.
NISSAN MAXIMA– AGREED TO PAY $ 114 FOR DIAGNOSIS FEE AND AFTER DIAGNOSIS THEY TOLD ME IT NEEDS AN A WHOLE NEW ENGINE (ONLY HAD 133K) MILES WHICH THEY ESTIMATED $ 4000 TO REPLACE IT AND I SAID NO THANK YOU, I WOULD LIKE TO PICK THE CAR UP AND THE MANAGER GOES THAT’S FINE. IT WILL BE $ 450 because they took the intake off LOL… I WAS IN SHOCK BUT IN THE END AFTER ARGUING I ENDED UP PAYING $ 114 SINCE I HAD ONLY AGREED TO PAY THAT AMOUNT. After doing my own research i ended up putting a fuel injector cleaner in the fuel tank and put V-​power gas from shell… Problem solved and car ran just as good as NEW!
Today i went to get the wheel alignment done because i thought management changed and it was a new guy… I saw they had special deal going for $ 29.95 for wheel alignment… the guy comes out in 2 minutes and tells me it needs both tie rods and it will be $ 300…i said No i don’t want to get that done today… then he said well then we can’t do the alignment… But then he said it will be $ 35.66.i told him but you guys didn’t do the alignment so why should i pay you and he said «but we looked» at this point i didn’t argue and ended up paying $ 35.66.
I today contacted precision tune auto care service and DARREL (HIS EXT NUMBER IS 216) picked up the phone and talked to me in a very unprofessional way and instead of trying to solve the issue… he himself was being rude and hung up on me.
NEVER AGAIN — DO NOT DO TO THESE GUYS.

My wife bought a Groupon for this location and was made to wait SIX hours to get a simple oil change. Apparently Groupon customers are put behind customers paying full price. Why even offer a discount if you’re going to treat them like second class citizens.
However if I could give them negative stars I would. The whole reason I wanted to get an oil change was because of a road trip to Colorado. Imagine the joy of finding out while on the road in wet freezing temperatures that the brainiacs at Precision Auto Care filled my windshield washer reservoir with water. Frozen water in my lines and no way to clean my windshield except with paper towels all the way back to Seattle.

I bought a groupon for a premium oil change for $ 25. Usually this means I’ll pay $ 10 – 15 additional for synthetic oil. I’ve never paid more than $ 45 total before, so this is my frame of reference. I come in and he tells me it will be $ 8 per quart (x 5 quarts), so an additional $ 40 to my $ 25 groupon. If you’re looking for service that is affordable and from a trusting business, I would not come here. I did not get the impression that these guys would take cAre of their customers, they’re in it for the money, and they definitely feel like they can take advantage of young women who don’t know much about cars. Also, seeing the other reviews, I look forward to the district manager’s auto response. Another, poor customer retention tactic. I’ll never be back.

The guys here are friendly and do their job. I had another place tell me to get new brakes and a whole list of other things but they took a look and took the time to show me what did and didnt need to get done. Fyi brakes had over half of their lie left. We trust them so much that we even let them work on my Lexus LS460.

Refuses to honor groupons? Check.
Treats female customers different than men? Check.
Overcharges for products based on thinking the customer isn’t informed? Check.
If you want bad service or to have your paid for no refunds groupon not redeemed do business here!

Yesterday said come tomorrow. Today I come and he says come tomorrow. Poor service ! I hate it ! They take my time 2 times for nothing !

Don’t come on weekend to get oil change their is only. Two people working. This place going down tubes.

I took my car into the Toyota dealership to get a second opinion. They told me my freon level was extremely low and there were no visible leaks in my system. The service advisor told me that it would have been impossible for someone to have added freon in the past week. Also no dye was found, even though precision told me they added some to try and trace the leak. My A/​C system now works. I feel ask if i have been scammed and cheated out of my money. Absolutely ridiculous!

So, there is a sign on the marque stating: Oil Change $ 16.90. I went in and said I wanted what was on the sign. Dawan said they wouldn’t have it done for at least 1 ½ — 2 hours. I said, Fine, I will wait. Then he says, your vehicle takes over 5 quarts so that will be $ 6.99 more. I said, Fine. Later, I realized they false advertise!!! $ 16.90 for an oil change should be $ 16.90! Then he comes in to ask if I want them to change my air filter. There was nothing wrong with it but me believing him… He kept repeating, My definition of dirty is going to be different from your definition. One of the mechanics (the one with gauges in his ears) came in so I asked him if he thought my air filter was dirty. IT WAS WHITE!!! He wouldn’t even look at me. He looked at Dawan. I asked him a second time. He wouldn’t stop looking at Dawan. Um… in cahoots. Dawan then brought in my cabin air filter. Which, I agreed, was filthy. Like an idiot, I said, Fine, change them all. My $ 16.90 oil change turned into almost $ 70 which is what they wanted and they got it. I had been there over 2 hours when I noticed my car parked out front but couldn’t ask Dawan if I could go bc he was chatting it up with someone on the phone. Finally, I got his attention and asked if I could go, and he said, your cabin air filter had to be special ordered so it’s on its way. Are you kidding me!!! Why would you not tell me that you didn’t have it in stock??? I wouldn’t be sitting here wasting my time growing ever the more pissed off! 2 ½ hours passed and he said he didn’t know where the guy was. He said I could wait or come back tomorrow. It was past 4:30pm. I’d been sitting there since 2. I said I’d come back tomorrow. The next day, beginning at 8am, I called 9 times. No one answered the phone. 9:30 rolls around and I called back. I asked if my cabin filter had come in and Dawan said, Yes, it’s here. Why the heck did I have to call you?! Because it wasn’t there!!! When I went in to get the work completed, Dawan just held out his hand for my key. Now, HE wouldn’t look me in the eye. This place swindles and lies! I will never go here again.

I came here wanting an oil change with a Groupon that I bought for 20 dollars. (The Groupon was supposed to be $ 25 but I applied 20% off coupon on the Groupon which made it $ 20. :)) Once inside, there were package deals listed out on a flyer on the counter. Basic oil was about 20 dollars and premier was 29.99. My Groupon was good for an oil change and general inspection, but did not include a canister filter, which had a separate cost of $ 9. I asked them if I could pay the difference between the Groupon and the premier package because Groupon said the amount you paid never expires, so it would be the same as if I had paid them $ 25 in advance. They said NO. I could either go with the groupon deal or their package deal. I already purchased the Groupon and there was no way to refund it, i just decided to go with it since I only paid $ 20 for it anyway.
Then, they told me it was going to take about an hour to an hour and half to change my oil and do a general inspection. There were only two staff members. One mechanic and one person on the front desk. They actually turned away another customer that came after me, saying that they won’t be able to get to his car until at least an hour later. Also, I specifically told the front desk to not rotate my tires because I have just had them rotated at Costco a week prior; however, i saw the mechanic starting to unbolt my tires, so I had to run over to stop him. He said the front desk never told him.
The service did take about 45 minutes. One thing that I liked was that they did not try to up-​sell anything major on my car. The only problem they found was some battery erosion, that they wanted to help clear out for $ 15. Of course I did not buy into that because my bf can do that for me, for FREE!
I guess this is a cheap oil change place in the area but their work speed is just not up to par. Maybe I’ll come back if i feel like saving a couple bucks, but most likely not.

Took my Mercedes in for an oil change and it cost me almost $ 300. They said the oil filter alone was about $ 80and the oil was $ 150. I found the 8 quarts of oil online for about $ 50 total and the filter was only $ 15. They overcharge big time here. Shop around first.

This location might want to retrain their service techs on the proper way to measure a brake rotor. You measure in four spots, not one. And no torque wrench when putting the tires back on the vehicle? C’mon, man… Should’ve known something was up when their front door was covered with a big piece of plywood… someone was REALLY unhappy with that place.
But the markup in price for parts and labor is ridiculous. Almost $ 500 for parts (new rotors and pads), labor, and tax for a front brake job is insane. Went to a small independent shop in north Seattle and was quoted under $ 275 for the exact same service.
I was listening to the conversation the man behind the front desk was having with a customer who was there for an oil change on his BMW. He was wondering why something that shouldn’t take longer than 30 minutes (even if you’re doing it yourself) was taking so long. They put the wrong oil filter on his car. Twice.
Maybe the other locations are better. The elderly man behind the counter is nice. I appreciate that they did the inspection at no charge. But the techs who work there… go back to school, guys.

Do not go here… consider yourself warned. They made my pickup run worse, broke the steering column and just said it broke on its own (because it was older). I eventually had to take it somewhere else… $ 1500 down the drain… truck still isn’t right. The coupons might look appealing, but they aren’t worth it. They might do okay with an oil change. but I wouldn’t trust them with anything. 0 stars
update: No call back… Even though they offered it below. Not surprised…

Quick Oil Changes, standard prices, friendly people — haven’t encountered any weird high pressure up-​sells. All is well.

I had a stellar experience with the Precision Tune in Lynnwood, so when I saw a groupon for this location I jumped on it. I have regrets. The Lynnwood location actually preferred that I schedule appointments, and I assumed the same would be for this location. When I called to schedule, they said that they don’t take appointments, but it would be easy to get my car done. It’s 28 miles each way from my house, so I was happy to hear that. That’s 56 miles of driving to change my oil, but if these guys were as awesome as the other location, I felt confident that it was worth it.
I went down there twice only to be rejected, but when I explained what was going on, Donald seemed to understand and broke the rules for me. The 3^rd time, I was scheduled for last Wednesday at 3:00, but there was a car accident and I didn’t get down there until around 3:30. There was a guy with salt and pepper hair that came to the front and told me that they were full for the day. It was my bad, so I understood, and asked him to please let me schedule again. He told me to be there the next day at 3:00 (Thursday).
I appreciated what these guys were doing for me, so I planned on getting there early and actually showed up before 2:00. The same man I spoke to the day before came to the front, and told me that they were full for the day and to come back later or leave my car overnight. I explained I live 30 miles away, so I obviously couldn’t leave my car overnight, and that he had actually scheduled me to be here in an hour, and that I was early. Also, this was the 4^th time and I’ve racked up 224 miles and hours of driving, so I pleaded with him to help me.
I wasn’t rude and believe that you get out what you put in. I did my best to be friendly and understanding, and to be flexible and work with these guys. This man’s response was the opposite. He chewed me out for «always showing up at the last minute when we’re trying to close!» And so on… but really, I was doing the opposite of what he was accusing me of. I see on this site they closed at 5:00. I showed up more than an hour earlier than we had originally agreed upon. The rest of his words don’t matter, but he was horrible and I left shaken and in tears. I called my husband because I didn’t know what to do, and the situation absolutely bewildered him, also. I’ve never experienced a situation like this before. But don’t worry, dude. I won’t be coming back.

Wow! I should’ve read the reviews before taking my car to the Redmond locatoin. Mark is very friendly and the location here turned my car around well under the time he estimated. Fast, friendly service. What more could you ask for? After getting the wheel stud replaced Mark let me know that my brake and power steering fluids needed to be flushed. He gave me a very reasonable quote. Since he was able to get the wheel stud fixed so promptly and since he was not pushy I decided to get it done. From now on I’ll take my car to the location closer to home, not closer to work!
Btw, the Frank in Renton is not the same Frank that’s in Redmond. Renton Frank is very cordial and professional.

The customer service was great! They did not try to up-​sale me on my car, which is amazing because the car has over 200,000 miles and has many things that «could» be repaired. I was ready to stick to my guns about only getting an oil change, because that was all that I wanted today and thankfully I didn’t even need to argue about it: D.
When I came in (I walked in, no appointment) the fellow who greeted me at the counter answered all my questions and let me know the car would be no longer than 40 minutes. I walked across the street to get something to eat and when I came back my car was being pulled out and it had been just about 30 minutes. So I was pleased with that as well.
Also good to note that the oil change was only around $ 20!
The manager did mention to me that I should come back and have my front end looked at since it was making a clunking noise and that could be dangerous depending on what was wrong. He stated it would be between $ 40 – 45. I thought it was nice that he mentioned it and did not pressure me to do anything right now.
