Quality Inn

Place is a dive. Cigarette burns all over the carpet, fuzzy tv signal at best, exterior door looks like it’s been pried open more than once. Won’t stay there again.

Somebody in the room upstairs from us received visits all night long, and all the visitors took showers, yes this is that kind of place don’t stay here.
The walls in the restroom had stains, the towels smelled bad, noisy window shaker as AC, very old spring mattress when you turn around your significant other is catapulted to the ceiling!!!

I stayed here for a week because this one of the few hotels in Renton (Renton seems to have a dearth of Marriott and Hilton hotels).
PROS:
–Great price: $ 560 all-​in for the week.
–Our room had ample, but not abundant space, with a king bed and two sinks. Everything was clean and the shower had good pressure and temp (this is very important to me)
–The front desk staff was professional, courteous and displayed a willingness to help
–We were never bugged about having our roomed cleaned (we had our Privacy Please sign out the whole week)
–Free breakfast… although it wasn’t spectacular: pastries, boiled eggs, cereal, yogurt and the like
–Exercise room available. Far Better than the other Quality Inn I’ve stayed in, but… (See cons)
CONS:
–Once you pass the main lobby, the entire building is kind of outdated and a little dingy. Our room was kind of dark.
–Wi-​fi was very flakey. Sometimes it worked, sometimes it didn’t and the staff was unable to fix it when we brought it to their attention.
–Our first room reeked of smoke despite the multiple no-​smoking markings on the room. The staff happily moved us when we brought it to their attention.
–One of the nights there was someone playing really loud music (presumably a party) until 3am. Because I could only hear the bass, I assumed it was from a room far away and that guests located closer to the offending room would complain, so I never did. I suppose I could give them the benefit of the doubt that no one called the front desk to complain.
–Their workout room’s setup implied that they had had some problems with theft in the past (a shame if that’s true). There were no free weights and they didn’t have the short seated row bar that you switch out with a long lat pull-​down bar on those machines that allow for both exercises. Usually the machine would include both bars, unless one of the bars grew legs and walked away…
Chains for me start at 3 stars, and since the cons have slightly outweighed the pros, the rating is downgraded to 2 stars… I feel a little bad about this since the staff seemed professional and generally competent, but the facility cancels it out here…

I usually stay at an Embassy Suites while in Seattle but they were all full. I stayed here at the Quality Inn and found a nice surprise. The room was clean and staff very friendly. The free breakfast was fantastic. Very quick to get on the freeway.

Very nice experience — exceptionally professional staff who were attentive to every need! Clean and spacious rooms, comfortable beds and quiet!

Perfect location for what we needed. 24 hour Sherri’s breakfast/​lunch/​dinner/​diner in front of hotel. Front desk extremely friendly and very accommodating! Very comfortable! Asked for a later check out and let us check out at noon instead of 11. Will definitely stay again if traveling to or through Renton!
