If I can give negative stars I would. The most inept service I’ve ever had. I waited two weeks and the order to replace my windshield is still not right. I’m telling everyone not to call your company and I already told my insurance not to deal with you.
Update: Safelite has the gall to call me and say they will charge me 25% restocking fee for their technician’s ineptness. Why don’t you guys just fire Nick the inept technician and get your restocking fee and then some.

Had a large crack in my windshield and had to get the whole windshield replaced. Safelite was the recommended repair company by my insurance. I went online and set up an appointment in a few clicks! Got a phone call immediately from my insurance confirming the appointment and everything was all set! Just over $ 300 for a full windshield replacement.
Only downfall was that they say that they vacuum out your car when they are done, but I keep my car extremely clean and could tell that they had not. There was little black pieces along the dash and they couldn’t even put my oil change reminder sticker back on the windshield. If you’re going to say that you vacuum out the car, wipe it down and then vacuum please. Other than that, easy process and quickly done. Thanks!

Had one of the resident vermin from downtown Seattle bash out our passenger window the night before. Steve from Safelite was a very welcoming face and his customer service skills were outstanding. Whenever you have something like this happen, it always helps to have a friendly face to help you. Thank you Steve!

Safelite is horrible! I could have either worked today and made extra money, or I could have gone on a ride and explored the scenic highways of WA.
But NO. Instead, I had to sit here at home, waiting on the Safelite Technician.
I was told he would be here between 8am and 12 noon. I woke up at 8am (I could have slept a few more hours), and waited. He called around 10am and said he would be here between 10:30 and 11:30. Then at 11:24, I get a text saying he would be here between 11:25 and 11:55. He showed up at 11:45 and told me that he didn’t have the right windshield. Isn’t that why specific questions are asked beforehand, and if you’re uncertain, you should call and ask yourself before coming out with the WRONG F**KING ONE?!? Then, he says that I can either reschedule, or he can come back between 2:30p and 4:30p if he can get the correct one with the correct parts. So I agree with the afternoon rescheduling. Might as well get it done then.
THEN, he calls at 1:30 and says that he could not get the parts or windshield today and that I would have to reschedule. Thanks for ruining my F**KING Saturday a**hole! So he gave me a number to call and reschedule, and I called it and cancelled my appointment service, telling them how horrible the service was and that I was going to be taking my business elsewhere. SMDH.
I am completely surprised on how terrible they are, even with all the commercials and advertising saying how great Safelite is and how they’re industry leaders. Bullsh*t. Now, I’m going to have to call up my insurance company and make a new appointment with a different company, and I’ll have to wait another two weeks because I have work next Saturday and can’t do it then. UGGHHHH!

Had my rock chip repaired on May 1^st. The crack was a size of a penny and now almost the size of a dollar bill after they fixed it. Contacted safelite and they refused to do anything. They offered me to get a glass replacement at my own cost. I came to them to stop the spread of the tiny cracks and thanks to them I have to get my whole glass replaced! Will never ever use this place again! BEWARE PEOPLE!

I would have given them five stars. But the price they charge for a side window for a small Japanese car us outrageous.

Super easy online scheduling, I car broken into the night before and had an appointment the next morning. Appointment at 2 and by 330, I was on my way with the new window. Safeway handled my insurance and made it super easy and less stressful. If this ever happens to me again I will be back! Thank you!!!

I was driving down the freeway recently and a rock flew right into my window and put a ding in it. I googled places to go and this was one that came up and had decent reviews, I figured a rock chip shouldn’t be a big deal to get fixed so I drove here because I wanted to take care of it before it started spreading. The guy I dealt with was rude, not helpful and let me know that they would not be able to help me that day and pretty much dismissed me. I ended up taking my car to All Star Auto glass and they got me in and out in about 20 minutes.

Went out on Valentine’s Day morning to see that someone had broken my driver’s side window. Of course, being from a small town, I was freaking out.
My insurance company made me an appointment for 1pm today, and after a little bit of navigation issues, I pulled in. They were expecting me, took my keys, and pulled it right in.
Inside there was a little coffee station. It looks small, but there’s coffee/​cocoa, granola bars and fruit gummies, and a fridge with pop, juice and water. But literally, by the time you make a cup of coffee and sit down, and a couple commercial breaks go by, they’ll be done.
One guy came in like «are you sure? Are you really done? That was the fastest service I’ve ever had in my life!» He’d dropped off his car, went over to Walmart, and got a call that his car was ready in under 30 minutes.
As for my service, I dropped it off, grabbed a hot coco, watched that guy pick up his car, wandered around to Sallys and Walmart, and in under an hour, was in my car on my way home.
Great, courteous, professional service. They cleaned up everything, and seeing it done so quickly was a dream. I couldn’t be happier!
Tip: If you’ve never been here before, forget using GPS and just go to Renton’s Walmart. It’s in the parking lot. Google Maps had me driving in circles and taking side streets, making me 10 minutes late because it thought the back of the strip mall was the entrance.

They installed a windshield that had a chip in it. After driving away for 20 minutes I noticed it and called. They said It must have happened after I left. I think I would have noticed a rock hitting my windshield on my way home. I left their shop @ 2:20 noticed the defect @ 2:50 immediately pulled over and called. Believe it or not that is exactly when the Bull. Started. The first words out of their mouths was «do you want to schedule a chip repair?»
They made it right by giving me a refund. I don’t know why it was difficult and I had to jump hoops to get the issue resolved. 4 stars because they made it right for me.

Walked in the morning of Christmas Eve. Customer service was great. They got my insurance info and were quickly able fix my window. The only issue is my door doesn’t open smoothly and the button they covers the door screw is missing.

I called yesterday for a full windshield replacement appointment. They got me in this morning and the job was completed flawlessly in less time than they initially estimated. I was in and out in an hour and back on my way in the pouring rain. I had just changed my wipers a few months ago so take their advice to replace them, but they worked flawlessly on the with the new windshield.
All in all, absolutely nothing negative to report. I will update should I ever experience an issue with the windshield, otherwise consider me a very satisfied customer. (Wet, but happy!)

Had my window busted out by some unknown punk. Next morning called insurance company and got hooked up with Safelite. Safelite saw me that same day at 1pm I got my car back just before 2pm. Greatest experience I ever had in my entire life. They are beyond good, They are the definition of perfection, of getting the job done. Just saying!!!

Insurance recommended Safelite in Renton. I made an appointment over the phone a few days out. Arrived as scheduled, work completed in about 1 hour. No problems. 2 weeks later a rock chip in my new window! I took a chance and showed up on a Saturday morning without calling first. They weren’t that busy and filled the chip in about 20 minutes. I was surprised when they didn’t bill me or my insurance, they gave pity on me for getting a rock chip on my new window.

It was just another normal commute to work on a Tuesday morning… until DING! A rock hit my car and chipped the windshield!
As a newbie to taking care of my own car, I had no idea what to do. The chip was too small for a complete windshield replacement, but I didn’t want to leave it alone because of Seattle’s rainy weather. After literally Googling «how to fix rock chip on windshield,» I found the solution — go to an auto glass specialist for a windshield repair. And even better — insurance companies can cover the repair at no extra cost! After calling my insurance to verify that my policy covers windshield repair, the representative I spoke to suggested going to Safelite AutoGlass.
Making an appointment with Safelite was super easy through their website — I received a phone call from one of their claims specialists within minutes after submitting my service request. She asked for more details on the damage and my insurance policy, and was able to confirm my appointment for the following morning.
I brought my car to the Safelite Renton shop, and the guys took care of my chipped windshield within 30 minutes! There are a couple tiny marks left from the chip, but that seems to be expected with most windshield repairs. Overall, the chip looks A LOT less noticeable and distracting.
Convenient location, prompt service, good results, and no out-​of-​pocket cost (due to insurance coverage) — no complaints here! Thanks Safelite!

My boyfriend and I have had business with Safelite Autoglass several times since they came recommended by our insurance. We have gone to their location and also used their mobile service for chip repair and they have always been fast, efficient, and so far we have always been satisfied with their work on quality and service.
What impressed me the most was when my front passenger window was smashed in and I scheduled an appointment with them to get it replaced. The appointment confirmation I received via email said it would take 60 – 90 minutes, but from the moment I checked in my car, it took maybe 40 – 45 minutes. They do not waste your time! And they vacuumed all the broken glass that I was afraid to touch, too!
Rock chips and broken windows really do turn your day to crap, but I’m just happy that I have insurance and a business close by like this to work with when things like this happen. I’m very happy with their work.

What can I say? They’re professional, efficient and do a pretty great job. Make an appointment and you’re good to go. Fast, easy and painless — especially when your auto insurance company picks up the tab.
