This place is great! On the advice of a dear friend, I tried this place and it’s by far the best taco truck in our corner of the world. The service is great — they even remember me and my large orders — the portions are more than generous and from all of the friends and other workers I’ve been feeding, their feedback is a GIANT thumbs up! More than once I’ve been asked if this is real restaurant food… and sometimes I just smile… Good work folks… see you again soon…

Small taco truck that’s hard to find, but definitely tasty. I had cabeza, lengua, tripas and carnitas tacos. All are delicious, but I’d probably skip out on lengua and carintas next time. Looking forward to coming back and trying a few other items on their menu.

Chorizo was lacking flavor and depth. Over priced for small tacos. Dry steak in tacos. Lack of atmosphere.

Great family run food truck by Renton Airport. Even the kids help run the business. The dad(chef) has never messed up my picky orders like … naked breakfast burrito with scrambled eggs and pico de gallo salsa, mild. Chicken Ranchero is authentic warm and tasty. Rice with tomato is addictive, Nice service. One star less for seating area not the best, tent like cover, wobbly table.

I love this taco truck! Food is always great and service is good! The taco truck thing is new to me a little, so I don’t know if this applies to others, but I like that we can call ahead our order so we don’t have to wait as long. Comes in handy when the weather is kind of crappy out. But I’d definitely come here again :)

This is my new go-to«Taco Truck» but not by choice. I love me some taco truck mexican food and I usually go to Juanito’s Taqueria, another taco truck that was just down the road but sadly moved(or closed) when the building it shared a parking lot with was demolished. I don’t know where it has moved to or if it even still exists, so I now go here. The food here is good but that’s it. It’s not really good like the food at Juanito’s Taqueria was, man I miss that place! That said, I will continue to patronize this taco truck since it’s the only one in the area and I need to get my fix every now and then.

Went here on a whim in the last couple of weeks. Yeah, we were glad to find a Taco Truck in Renton! Were we sadly disappointed. Our order consisted of a Spicy Pork Torta(very bland — no heat what-so-ever) a chicken quesadilla, Beef Burrito, and a couple tacos. The Torta & Quesadilla were very oily. None of the meat in any of our items had much flavor. The«salsa bar» someone mentioned was two buckets of salsa with laddles in them.(Have gone to other outdoor establishments where salsas were in squeeze bottles.) The order came to around $ 18. I will say that the service was quick, and portions were OK for price. It just didn’t make the cut on flavor. Maybe it was a one-time«bad food day» for them, but we won’t be going back.

Shame on me for not getting on the taco truck band wagon sooner. But I’ve been reformed in the last two or so years and thank goodness. As it turns out, I was missing out on some legitimately damn good food. Last night, we were hungry and just pulled up our Unilocal app(best app ever!!!) and looked for the highest rated taco truck near Renton. And my fellow Unilocalers did not lead us astray. This place delivers some really good authentic Mexican fare at a good price. The tacos are $ 1.20 which is a little higher than expected but they give you a lot of meat which pretty much makes it a steal. We had«steak» tacos. I say steak because that’s what we asked for before realizing that they have asada and adobada steak. Terrible for me to not order in Spanish, I know, but it was dark out, cold, rainy and I was lazy. In any case, the tacos were legit. We also asked for some rice and beans which they basically loaded up a take out container that one might get some teriyaki in for only a couple bucks. Eight tacos and some rice and beans only ran us $ 12. Can’t get much better than that!

So, we live right up the hill from one of the best taco trucks in town, lucky us, but even luckier is the fact that I finally stumbled upon ordering a Carnitas Quesadilla… it will keep you right out of old testament heaven, but this scrumptious combo of pig and cheese in a tidy little tortilla wrapper backed up by a massive Carnitas burrito is just the thing for any night that quick, cheap and fantastic are your dining criteria… the other bonus is that if you plan on cooking the next night you can grab some produce from Marilyn’s during your stop…

This is probably one of the better taco trucks in the area. They have a big menu, with some more elaborate fair than you would expect from the everyday taco truck, and a great selection of extras like jarritos, horchata, and a great little condiment bar. And hell they got a covered bench area to boot. Had a couple tacos, the tongue and carnitas, and a mulita(small quesadilla with 2 corn tortillas) with i dont remember what filling. All three were great, the tongue being the best. But you can’t forget the pickled jalepeno’s in the condiment section. They make any taco just that much better. Will definitely return, as this is much better and cheaper than my building’s caf.

Finally drove by when they are open(I usually drive by in the middle of the night) and stopped to give it a try. Let’s start with the bad: the pork tamale was overcooked and flat — they had a «special» on them — that should have told me they’d been sitting for days…(the flavor was good). To much hot sauce/salsa on the tacos I ordered(just throw some in the bag). The good: nice little serve your self condiment bar, good flavor on the asada tacos and the pastor(but just a tad to spicy — I couldn’t feed it to my devil babies). 4 Tacos and 1 Tamale = $ 6(price is right). Will I be back — probably not but it was fun to try.

Given the weather forecast this this weekend, I thought it best to get the run out of the way earlier than later. So I did my little trot around Seward Park before 10. I got home and made some organic, Omega 3 enriched scrambled eggs and some nitrate free turkey bacon. Yum? Whatever. Later that day, we decided to go to the new Target in Renton(which I will NOT be reviewing — Target is Target. Amazing how a brand new store looks just like a 15 year old store.) We want a new TV, I needed some white shoe polish(because apparently there isn’t a GD pair of Adidas Grand Prix in white with blue stripes for sale on this PLANET), and a few other things. Somewhere between talking myself out of buying the Issac Mizrahi for Target dress(really cute, but you know that shit is going to fall apart in like a week), the husband talking me out of buying the Tommy Boy/Black Sheep double feature DVD,(«It’s the same movie.» So true, but still Farley and Spade. I love those guys…) and not finding the TV we wanted, I BECAMEFAMISHED. WTF? I totally ate! Fucking aromatic Target pretzels, that’s what it was. Or that I had yet to consume a single carbohydrate at 4pm? Whatever. HUNGRY. Anyhoo — I had yet to get to the new/old Tacos El Asadero Bus which was formerly on MLK and Graham but had since moved to Rainier in Renton. I really liked the guy who runs it and wanted MORESTEAKRANCHERONOW. I could actually taste it. We got: 2 orders of Steak Ranchero 2 Pollo tacos 2 Al Pastor tacos 2 Al Pastor mulitas 1 cheese quesadilla(para el bebe) 1 giant bag of radishes 1 giant bag of Zanahorias en Escabeche 2 Diet Cokes Total: $ 26 I filled up on radishes and carrots before we got home, but made the decision to eat myself into an uncomfortable stupor anyway. I could DRINK the sauce in the Steak Ranchero. So fucking good… zesty, spicy, hot, sort of sweet. Probably comes from a can, but what the fuck do I care? I don’t. I just want to know what the can looks like. Dollar tacos. Delicious dollar tacos. Also, running in the morning = SUPERHUNGRYALLDAY. Running in the afternoon = sort of nauseous and able to skip dinner.
