I had them cater a breakfast with chorizo & eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, beans, guacamole, salsa, tortillas. I ordered for 15 and it was only $ 90. There was enough for 25. Food was prepared on time. Everyone enjoyed it. I only wish they deliver.

Authentic, inexpensive, fast.5/5 every time. Only negative would be it’s a small place attached to a market — so not good for big groups, and parking is limited.

Very good food! Have had their tamales(the reason we came here) which are delicious. Had their tacos dorados, very good only bad thing is that their carne asada had a lot of fat. Other than that REALLYGOOD!

Breakfast made all day. Ceviche is delicious. Love that they don’t skimp on their portion sizes. Fresh Mexican food that isn’t greasy. Also great for catering.

One of if not the best authentic Mexican food restaurant in the valley. Huge portions, prices have gone up 4 – 5 times in the last 15 years I’ve been coming here, but it’s still a great deal. What makes it so good is the fresh salsa bar. The salsa is chopped in the back fresh. Soooo good. There is a market/carniceria attached to the restaurant, but I don’t shop there much. I used to buy there 1L of jarritos tamarind and 1L sangria when it was 99 cents. Dunno how much it is now. Parking is a pain so I just park on the street and walk a bit. If you park in the lot don’t exit out the front because you can’t see cars coming by. Super dangerous.

This place might seem confusing at first because it is attached to the grocery store, but it is its own location. You can also go through the store when you are done eating. There are a lot of positives about this location, but a few small things here and there that might need some improvement. The food is the reason to visit this location. There are so many options and it is very delicious. I really liked the carne asada here, it was very tender and juicy. It went well with my tortillas, rice and beans. The combination plates are worth the buy, especially if you like variety. The guacamole was also very delicious, just the combination of the food all together was good. The food made my mood so much better. The areas they need some improvement is the employees. They are not very friendly but they are not rude either. They will give you suggestions, but don’t talk much. Luckily I can speak and read in Spanish so it was easy for me to decide, but my bf doesn’t so I had to explain and order for him. The restaurant itself can do some work on cleaning up the tables a little more. It is not a new restaurant, so it can look a little rusty. There is enough seating and you can go with a small group of friends easily. It does get a little creepy in the evening, but it is still a good place to eat at any time of the day.

Such a great Mexican restaurant. I used to come here as a child and I still pop in every now and then. Their champurrado is delicious. Best I have ever had.

This place has one of the best gorditas de pollo, combo de burrito y taco. Siete mares esta para chuparse los dedos. Los caldos de este lugar estan buenos como el caldo de res o de albondigas. Un verdadero lugar mexicano para comer. Precios están buenos para todos los platillos. I recommend this place to everybody

THEGOOD: The breakfast burrito and the service. The breakfast burrito was huge and delicious. They are not at all stingy. The people are really nice and very accommodating. I asked for everything on the side for two dishes and they hit it on the nail. I love the fact this this is also a carniceria so you can shop while you wait. THEBAD: The carne asada meat! Very fatty, chewy and way over cooked. This is a big deal because carne asada is used in so many dishes. We had taquitos, nachos and a burrito all with carne asada. All meals were ruined because of the beef. ALLINALL: They do a few things well but not the things that interest me in a taco shop. For taco shop items I would look elsewhere but this may be the place for quick hispanic grocery items. Damn good service though.

I’m not exaggerating when I say I eat here at least 3 times a week! Not something to be proud of :/ The food is amazing! I always get the order of chiles rellenos. Always. It’s that good. The food is authentic, trust me, I’ve been Mexican 32 years now. Other people I know like the things they’ve tried as well. I can’t speak for much on the menu, as previously stated, I stick to my one order. I tend to call my order in ahead of time so that I don’t have to wait in line if there’s a lot of people. My one complaint is that parking can be hard to find during peak times. The way around that is to just go around the block a couple of times. The crowd doesn’t really loiter. They’re in and out pretty fast.

3.5 stars cuz it’s a lil dirty… Been here many times 1st review for some reason. Food is good, it’s inexpensive, you don’t have to tip lol. Feels like lil Tijuana hahaha Friendly women at the register, usually fast w/getting your food out. Nothing hipster or trendy about this place, locals and heavy Mexican patronage. Hard to complain, again 3.5 but better than 3 stars so gotta give’em 4!

This place was great! I had breakfast with my wife there. I had chorizo burrito and my wife had the ham. Both came with potatoes and great salsa on the inside. They also had grilled jalapeños for free and of coarse the great carrots that are available at most places. Great parking, big store, treats looked good and so did the meat.

This place is one of the best Mexican food restaurants that has a homemade taste to it. El Rancherito is both a market and a restaurant. The moment you walk in the workers are very friendly. There are a variety of different plates to choose from. I personally think the prices for the food is well priced because they are not too expensive for the amount of food they give. Even if it’s not a big restaurant I think it is spacious to go eat with your family or friends. The restaurant/market is well organized and clean despite that it’s not a big place. If you dine-in, there are three TVs throughout the restaurant to enjoy while eating your delicious food. I have gone to El Rancherito plenty of times and I can never complain of how delicious the food taste. Don’t even get me started with the agues frescas. They have a variety of aguas frescas to choose from and they are all homemade agua frescas. The last two times I went they had about five different aguas to choose from. I would recommend both the melon and the pineapple water. They taste so fresh and not that fake or machine taste of agua frescas. They also had agua de jaimaica, watermelon, and horchata. The last time I visited I ordered«Camarones al mojo de ajo» with rice and fries. This dish was so delicious and had so much flavor in the camorones. I have also gotten other dishes like carne asada and filete a la plancha and let me just say they also do not disappoint. Their menu has a variety of food to choose from. They also serve breakfast like eggs, burritos, different types of caldos(but be aware some soups are served on Sundays) and plenty of others plates. In the morings, it has such a home like feel to it because when you enter they have trays of homemade bread to choose from that go well the hot coffee they serve. I really would recommend people to come eat at this Mexican restaurant if you are looking for good prices and real Mexican food in the valley. The food and drinks are freshly made and are worth the wait. Besides the restaurant they have a small carniceria/market with reasonable priced deals. After heading out from eating I always go check out the market to pick up some Mexican candy or bread. The market is tiny but everything is well organized and clean. When you are on a run and don’t want to go to a big supermarket this is a great place to stop by because they probably will have the same items for the same price with a smaller line when paying.

This place by far has some of the best Mexican fast food in the area. There is always some sort of line, but it always moves fast. The orders come out pretty fast too. The salsa bar is so good that they literally have rules as to who can take from it. I guess people try to order something small like side rice or something and jack them for their awesome salsa. Doesn’t affect me because when I go there I’m getting a full meal so I’m «allowed» to take their salsa. They also keep deep fried peppers in there that are also complimentary with meals. You’ll notice them as being the peppers that look almost burnt. If you know Spanish, take it with you. They do speak English but like most authentically authentic Mexican joints, Spanish is key. Don’t let it deter you though if you are English only. This place is a side area to a Mexican style meat market, so don’t expect 5 star dining. You don’t necessarily come here for the ambiance, you are coming here for their delicious food. It’s almost an experience coming here because you don’t feel like you are in the valley anymore. Has that Mexican joint in Mexico feel for sure. Oh yes, and here is the best part. For you seafood lovers out there. They have oysters on the menu, and YES you can trust these oysters 100%. Since they are high traffic, and they are literally an extension of a meat market, I would trust that they are pretty much always fresh. It’s about 7 bucks for a half dozen and 12 for a dozen so you literally can’t beat those prices for good quality oysters. I had them and they were awesome. I recommend pretty much anything on their menu. There are a lot of choices so good luck deciding.
