I guess this place is under new management and have changed the name to «Tacos Hell Yeah». Honestly, for me in the future it will be «tacos hell no»…the food is greasy, the burrito was small and when I ask for meat, cheese, rice and beans only and realize that there is sweet peas and carrots mixed into the rice after I get home with it. it was rather disappointing and not to my liking or what I ordered and wish I was told ahead of time that it would be impossible to fulfill my order as requested so I would have the chance to change it to something else. My son seemed to like his quesadilla and my wife said the thing as me…

I’m a local and I will never go to this place again. service sucks and food sucks. This will be a great restaurant for the show Save my restaurant. Owner if you read your reviews do your self a favor and close the doors. Your employees don’t care and maybe you don’t care. The young lady there is the only one who cares. And if she is smart she can own that restaurant for the Environment she is working in. I usually go to the place ½ a block away to get burritos but I decided to give this place a shot BIGMISTAKE! 25 mins for 6 burritos CMONMAN! REALLY! Disgrace to Mexican food! Disgrace to MICHOACAN! NEVERAGAIN! I would rather starve!

I live right next door to this place and it’s good! My parents actually used to own a Mexican restaurant too so I know what authentic Mexican food tastes like. They have the real deal like Lengua or Tripa tacos– all that good stuff! The Caldo de Rez is my new favorite. The staff is always really nice and helpful and the food comes out in a timely manner. I’ve never eaten anything here that I didn’t like. Well worth the price!

If only the 0 were allowed. This is some GREASY food. I have a list of sketch: 1. First off, there are no prices on the menu. This ratchets up the potential for«creative pricing.» For instance, I paid 5 smackers for a limp, oily chile relleno. 2. Second, this is the opposite of friendly service. Imagine. Not just not friendly service, but the OPPOSITE of friendly. Oi. 3. The bean and cheese burrito may as well have been called the«blandito»…and the grease that oozed out literally made a lard beard on my chin. This is not an appealing look. *Note, if blandito means something other than«little bland tube of grossness» then I have misspoke. SKIPTHISPLACE!

I really love their tacos and tortas! Not so much their burritos but I ALWAYS crave tacos from here. For $ 1.15, who even needs to wait until Taco Tuesdays??? One of my fav hole-in-the-wall taco joints!

This place makes good tacos and burritos! I’ve tried all of their taco/burrito meats and they’re all good. My favorite is the Al Pastor, which they serve with delicious caramelized onions. The carne asada, cabeza, lengua and buche are also solid. For those of you who like tripas, they have them. I mention it because a lot of places no longer serve them. Make sure you try their red salsa. It’s smoky and hot and adds a nice kick of flavor. I see a lot of these reviews talking about this place being dirty and scummy. I don’t find it any dirtier than any other hole in the wall taqueria. Maybe if you only hang around trendy, hip places on Ventura. Blvd. you’ll find Tacos Michoacan too dirty for your liking. But I’ve eaten in places a lot dirtier than this place.

Its alright I guess. Nothing special. This place is sketchy. I feel grimy. Tacos were boring. Burrito was even more boring. Rice and beans tasted like a foot. Go to Priscilla’s taco truck instead. I’m going home now. Peace

Seriously, the best taco I’ve had. Tortilla was soft and delicious. Flavors were awesome. Just a really good taco. I was lucky enough to stumble across this place while on my way to a theatrical performance of Breakfast Cats. I heard it was much better than the book. And it was, although not as good as the VHS version.

I go to school out of state where there are no taco trucks and there are no mexican food joints besides a taco bell. Whenever I’m home I make it a point to fill myself with yummy asada tacos. The food is good and for $ 1.10 or $ 1.15 a taco its nothing to complain about. Their tamarindo drank is alright too. Its not the cleanest, doesn’t have amazing customer service or anything, but its everything you want when you just want some good tacos asap.

These guys know what the hell they’re doing! An hour ago I was at the gym and craving tacos… I’ve always wanted to check this place out. I am happy to report that I just got through devouring three fresh, flavorful, REALLY, REALLY good tacos and I am overjoyed. I was just expecting your run-of-the-mill taqueria take-out tacos… the kind that are on almost every block and that we all take for granted because they all start to taste the same. The kind that are served in foil and are often greasy, gristly and fatty, but okay enough for a buck and to satisfy your hunger. But no. No, no. These tacos are a stand-out, and much better than any taqueria I’ve had around these parts. Meat is fresh-tasting, well-marinaded and no fat/nasty bits in sight. Counter guys are smiley and friendly, and appreciate your business. I love that! What I love even more is that I’m stuffed for three bucks and some change! Can you effin believe that, guys?! I’m going back this Friday!!! I might even splurge this time and buy $ 5 worth… and drive back to LA and alter my consciousness with these memorable little tacos and a bottle of $ 6 wine.

I went to check out a used car in Reseda — early afternoon, I was hungry. The car wasn’t for me but I asked the guy — who hails from Argentina — where can I get a good taco. He said he didn’t know — what the heck! Then he told me about a Taco Bell near the highway. Eff that! I thought to myself. So I used my iPhone to get a Unilocalish recommendation, and then headed off to Tacos Michoacan, in a dinge-y looking strip mall. Like most good taco places, it looked a bit sketchy, not too clean, whatever. ESPN Deportes was featured on a tiny TV. I’m still afraid of cabeza and stomach, so I just ordered the usual three tacos — pollo, asada, and carnitas. Mmmmm. They were good. Not quite as good as the ones at Sauz in Glendale, but sitll good. The meat was tender and flavorful. My only complaint — I would have liked more cheese. I think I have embarked on a white man’s expedition to find the best tacos in the valley. I will keep everyone posted.

If you ever want to ditch your favorite taco truck, this is the place to get your tacos, burritos, etc. The food here is really good. This place even stocks up on their spicy carrots. Most places you find yourself fishing through scraps of jalapenos searching for that last carrot. When TM first opened we were a little wary and expected for their quality to drop and for their prices to rise. Nope. This isn’t the case. You can’t find good taco places these days so that’s why most people have resorted to patronize their local taco trucks. This place is awesome.
