Pour House Liquor

This is the WORST place to ever buy anything from… I stopped in to buy a quick drink and burrito, the guy behind the counter takes my card and charges me … $ 4.49, plus a $ 0.50 fee for using a card … which is illegal I might add … «No retailer… may impose a surcharge on a cardholder who elects to use a credit card in lieu of payment by cash, check or similar means…»

He says its declined; so I ask him to try again; he throws up his hands as if «I don’t want any part of this.» I call the bank and they verify that the CVV # was inputted incorrectly; the reason behind the decline. I ask him to try again and enter the correct number, which his reaction is the same. I asked if he wanted to talk to the bank on the phone, and he still just threw up his hands.
Basically he is charging 50 cents for a transaction by card, pocketing the profit, and didn’t want a second fee imposed on him for trying the card again when it was him at fault to begin with.
The ordeal ended with us «F-you’ing» each other and him yelling at me from the doorway of his business.
Only stop in here if you want a laugh~~ totally not worth it. I would sooner get diphtheria.
