Im late on this post but place is really quick efficient and the price was right in my range. The guy hooked it up let it run did its thing and i was on my way. I highly recommend this place for smog needs !

I came here knowing i was going to be fully satisfied with my smog check. I personally picked this place because I know they have large garage doors perfect for my truck fleet at work right off of Reseda Blvd. I then took my personal car here, and was really happy with the service they provided. It was quick, easy, and a no hassle kind of experience. The guy working there is very knowledgable and a great guy. This is definitely the place and I will be taking my cars and trucks to get a smog check for years and years to come. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and everyone I know.

Needed a star smog and ended up at Smogster by refferal. Met the owner, Inder, super nice guy. Helped me to resolve chck. engine light correctly and after fixing the issue, I passed before it ever failed. Good guy, amazing hours and all around A+

You can use the Unilocal coupon or just show him the check-​in coupon and it becomes $ 40 even.
I recommend them in all you want is a quick smog done from a STAR station.
you will of course need to bring that DMV smog notification you got in the mail in order for them to do their work because he was able to electronically send all your information to the DMV for you so you don’t have to mail anything.

Great place, it’s affordable. I like that the guy that helped me was nice and friendly. The time that it took was less than 15min. It has a nice waiting room to cool off in.

Awesome service, super fast, in and out in under ten minutes and a fun office with all the signs. Also a STAR station. Forty flat out the door when showing the online coupon. Highly recommended, A++, would smog again.

Ok the wait was long since only one person working when i went. Otherwise he was great! Real honest, real professional and most importantly, real friendly. No hidden cost flat $ 40.
The place also has a waiting room (tv water fishtank) and uniquely a couch outside on the back.

Smogster is small, quick and very professional. Two test stations. Air conditioned waiting around with kids toys and candy. Got my car smogged in like ten minutes. The dude was cool. I’ll be back.

My husband had this to say about this business, «After having a horrible experience with All-​American Smog (never go there) a few days prior where my truck failed the smog test, I took my 1983 Chevy K5 Blazer to this place. Upon arrival I was met by a tech who was super professional and seemed actually happy to meet me, since this is one of the worst trucks to smog due to her giant size. He had me sign a form and proceeded to smog the truck quickly while I watched. The truck took a long time due to her age and engine size and considering it was 110 degrees outside the tech was professional the entire time.
After smogging my truck for 40 minutes my truck died on the dyno and had to have AAA to remove it from his Bay. :) I apologized to the tech who laughed it off and made me feel better even though I was wasting his time! I asked him how much I owed him and he said there was no charge. He said after I get it fixed bring it back and he’ll smog it again. That was super cool of him because of the time and effort he already put in.
After having it repaired, I met the same tech a few days later, who was happy to see me. He pulled the truck in for me, put it on the dyno, did the test and the truck passed with flying colors. And while he was testing it I was standing there he could tell I was so nervous but gave me a thumbs up and wink to let me know that it passed and put me at ease.
Being a auto technician previously, it’s good to see honest and extremely helpful technicians in the field of smog, considering it’s mandatory by the state of CA. They know that and know they can take you for a ride financially speaking and customer service doesn’t matter. Here the tech was a great guy, great customer service, and super helpful.
I would highly recommend this shop to anyone who has to deal with CA smog tests.

Excellent place to get a smog check. They are star rated. 2 service bays so less waiting time. There’s a nice waiting room with complimentary water and a tv on and a nice fish tank and lots of seating. It was cool inside while it was 100 plus outside. Owner Inger was very nice. I used the Unilocal check in offer and saved around $ 20. Very happy with my experience.

I needed a smog for my car and after calling a different place who wanted $ 53, i stumbled on Smogster.
I called and talked to a guy whose name i didnt get. He was really nice and said with the Unilocal coupon and additional $ 10 (i forgot why) it was an even $ 40 out the door.
So i made an appointment for 1 p.m., i dont know if u need an appointment but i made one for 1 p.m. anyway.
I walk in at 12:50 and i was driving away from this place at 1:07 and it costed me exactly $ 40, they didnt try to sell me shit or B.S. me around.
They have amusing signs on the wall to read and a fishtank to look at along with cold water to suck down.
I will definately be back and after paying between $ 50-​$ 60 for smogs the past decade, its nice to only pay $ 40…i will most definately be back and would recommend.
