This is my new go-to place for Italians and steak-n-cheese. I’ve been here at least 5 times since it opened. Quality is consistent, service is good and the price reasonable. I also like the reward points. The bread works well for the Italian. But for a steak-n-cheese the bread, though decent, comes up a bit short. Toasting it would not matter. But it seems no matter where I go, bread is the critical yet overlooked ingredient for steak-n-cheese. Even so I’ll keep going back.

The Jersey Mikes in Hunters Woods Plaza is my favorite place to be. All the staff are very friendly and work hard to make everyone happy. Mike’s Way on the number 9 is the best! yeeeeeeeehhh boooyyy.

New shop opened not too long ago. The subs and salads are down right tasty with a freshness you can’t beat. I find the customer service to be fantastic. I get a sub in a tub a couple times a week and the staff always make it just the way I like. Getting your sub or salad«Mike’s way» is the best.

Big disappointment. I didint want to try them out when they first opened but after being open for a couple of months now, I figure that now would be a fair assessment. I ordered a Philly steak and cheese. According to their description, its supposed to come with grilled onions and peppers: none, just melted cheese. My first impression was the bread. I felt disrespected that a «sub» place like Mike’s would even serve stale rolls. Second, where’s the beef? Whole lotta stale bread, with very little«steak» if you know what I mean. No more excuses about training or working out the kinks. If they dont have it together by now, its safe to say they need to make some major changes. At what cost and for how long should customers be active unknowing training participants? I will give this place one more shot.

I have been to most of the jersey mikes in northern Virginia over the years. Grand opening is always frantic. I ordered a philly and told them what I wanted on it. I changed my mind after it was just about done and asked if I could get bacon and pepper rings on it too, the manager said no problem but instead of opening up the sand which, he just made me a whole new one. I didn’t mind the extra 4 minutes for a new sub. I remember this manager from the store in leesburg and he always seemed to take care of customers regardless.

Not bad. I started off thinking this was 4 stars though. Quality of my Big Kahuna steak sub was very good. Minus one star for the service though. After getting mine, I realized they didn’t ask me(or any one I was with) what kind of bread I preferred or what toppings, if any, that I wanted on my sub. I ended up with plain white sub roll and no extra toppings, both of which I would have wanted to request. The floor manager was vigorously cleaning up and removing floor mats about 45 minutes before closing time. She noticed us getting up to leave and nicely told us we could definitely stay but the cleaning right around where we were eating was not terribly enticing to make me want to stick around any longer unfortunately.

I can’t tell you how disappointing this place was. I was so excited to hear my favorite sub shop(see Chantilly location for great subs) was coming to Reston. Made a special trip out the other night and was so disappointed. First off, the staff — where to begin. Waited 10 minutes while the employee flirted with some girls ahead of me, then when my turn came to order they walked away and said another employee will handle my order. ok? Sandwich was made incorrectly twice — I gave up on trying to fix it and just accepted whatever they made which was disgusting. While waiting for sandwich heard a lot of foul language from staff. The one older staff member was clearly disinterested in their job. So sad to say this but I won’t be back.

Since opening a few weeks ago, I’ve had several Steak subs and I’m I happy this spot to close to home and work. Good to see the crew getting into groove. My only personal issue with the sub I’ve had so far are that I really like toasted bread. Love their oil, vinegar, and spices combo. Not as good as a Li’l Dino’s Steak & Cheese but, it’ll do for now. Update: I’ve switched to getting the Italian and am clearly addicted to this sandwich as I get at least one a week. So good. Best I’ve ever had but, this is my personal opinion.

Got the jersey shore special. Good bread and fresh toppings. Not as bad as previous Unilocalers stated. New restaurants all have ups and downs. Take it easy it’s not the end of the world. Won’t hurt to get a sub from this place especially cause eating options are limited in the shopping center

Don’t go here until they iron out all the kinks. I literally had to squeeze and drain my wrap from excess oils, couldn’t even finish the other half it was so gross. They forgot to make my boyfriends sub– 27 bucks and 20 minutes for 2 sandwiches! What a waste. Too many inexperienced kids behind the counter with no guidance or training. You have to have people who know what they are doing to make a grand opening successful! I’m a patient person but reading what I wrote makes me sound like a nut– I guess that’s how frustrating the experience was. I’ve always been a reader of reviews but would never post my own until now.

DO. NOT. WASTE. YOUR. TIME. A new store in Reston, VA. Both the quality and the execution of service were absolutely horrific. 1) Both sandwiches were made incorrectly the first time. 2) The second time, the sandwiches were just plain disgusting. The chicken on the chicken Parmesan was MUSHY and raw on the inside. The steak and cheese was on bread that managed to be soggy AND stale at the same time. Didn’t even bother to take it back the second time, for fear the manager would just hand me more coupons I will never use-30 minutes and 23 dollars I will never get back.
