Conveniently 5 minutes away from my job so I thought I’d give us this place a try, since it was perfect rainy weather. It’s located in a plaza with very few stores, next to some nail salon. It’s a decent size restaurant with many tables. Quite busy for this rainy day almost 80% of tables were full. I was pretty surprised! Service was fast and quick, usual for a Vietnamese restaurant. I always get the same bowl of phở anywhere I go, even pick the same meats at home, so I usually don’t even look at the menu. Phở w/meatballs! Ordered right away with one of my coworkers, she got Phở with Chicken. It came out in about 5 minutes. My first reaction was that it was way too salty. I dumped hoisin sauce in there since its sweet to balance out the flavor. But it was overbearing the meal. I usually don’t put sauce in my broth anyway because I like to taste the broth and see if its actually good instead of pouring hot sauce or hoisin all over. It was $ 8 for a regular bowl, which I thought the bowl was pretty small. Usually even a regular bowl is bigger at other phở places and then the large bowl is really big. Overall, Phở wasn’t all that good to me. I have to go back and try their rice dishes and see how good those are. Can’t mess up rice dishes, right? Will come back since most of the reviews are good but maybe it was just a bad day. Hopefully. I give a 1 star because their was barely service, I mean it came in 5 minutes, which all they do is pour the broth and noodles thats already made in a bowl and dump in the meat. And we ate and took about 20 minutes and left. No water refills or anything, because we didn’t really need it. In and out of there! I’ll come back and see if my rating will go up.

Delicious Vietnamese restaurant. My first thought was, «if I lived in this area, I would eat here every day.» — FOOD: I had a large bowl of tofu phở — the regular bowl looked like a good size, but I was hungry and the large bowl was only a $ 1 more — and it was exactly the yummy, filling, healthy, comfort food I craved. The prices were very good, about $ 9, for a huge bowl of food. — FORTHEVEGGIES: There are a number of non-meat entrees on the menu, and for the phở(what else would you get?!) you can select a vegetarian broth. So I applaud the restaurant for accommodating us veggies! — SERVICE: The service was very, very quick, which was welcomed since I was in a rush, but still quite friendly. — ATMOSPHERE: This is a casual restaurant with ample seating. I was there on a Saturday afternoon, and it was pretty quiet and calm.

As usual a great local place that serves amazing Phở. When u want that hot soup, this is a great place to go. They also have some food choices like fried rice and other vermicelli dishes that are tasty. Service is good. Wish they were open on Sunday’s, but that forces choices. Reasonable prices for Reston too.

The broth is unique, it’s darker than most other phở broth from other places. It also has a tart taste to it. Overall speaking, the food is not bad at all, however, the service was a chaos… the Long was super long, 20+ mins for phở. Plus the Hispanic servers speak no English

This place never fails to impress. Like many phở restaurants in the area, they pay very little attention to the décor and amenities, but have a razor focus on the broth! This is the type of phở that just gets better and better the longer it sits in the bowl! Great phở. Great price and a nice little hidden gem in a near defunct shopping center.

The owner of Phở Reston 75 has opened a new location in Herndon called Phở Dulles 75. Same great food and service and closer to my office. Hooray for me! Try it… you will be back.

They have opened a second location called Phở Dulles 75 in Herndon. I have yet to try it, but I look forward to doing so! If they offer the same food and service, I’m sure it will be a winner!

Came here today to try out their Phở. Was immediately greeted and seated when i arrived. Tried the regular size P7 phở bowl with Vietnamese coffee. Food came out fast and both were great. It’s also nice that you can pay with a credit card here. Highly recommend this place.

This place has it together. They are quick to take your order and to serve the order. I’ve never been disappointed coming here. It is definitely a staple of mine. The staff is friendly and very efficient. I used to walk to the restaurant with my dog to pick up the take out and they would bring it right out to me so that I wouldn’t have to tie him up. Awesome phở ga and bubble tea!

Had the jack tofu vegetarian phở(with vegetarian broth). It was good although I’ve tried better vegetarian broths at other restaurants in Arlington and the city. Still a great option for lunch or quick dinner if you’re in the Reston/Herndon area. Staff was very polite and the location was very clean. There was plenty of parking since it’s located in a ghostly little shopping center.

Phở was very very AVERAGE. Summer rolls were below average and had barely anything in them except salad and noodle. Besides that, just all around dissapointing based on the reviews I got. Only glimmer of hope was the sever(who I think was the owner) was super nice.

I went yesterday for lunch, they were completely out of Thai tea and the coconut jelly drink. That’s unusual for a Asian restaurant I thought. I ordered water and the waiter never came back to refill. For my entrée I ordered a vermicelli bowl with pork and egg rolls. The pork was well marinated and juicy, it was good. The eggroll on the other hand was terrible. The flavor was overpowered by the taste of old pork that wasn’t blended well with all the usual Vietnamese ingredients. I left the eggroll and ate the rest of the rice noodles and small serving of pork. Needless to say. I was still hungry when I left and shall not return to this phở place.

I went there for lunch and it was packed with people. The shop is pretty old fashioned, but the food is good, portions are huge and very fast service. The broth was good. The meat was also good. The portion was huge. The small bowl was huge. Will recommend to go for small bowl. I will recommend this place.

I came here and ordered a small bowl of Reston Phở 75 Dac Biet(Special), was going to get a large like I usually do, but I was skeptical as to how good their phở is. Luckily, I trusted my instincts. The broth was not as flavorful, doesn’t seem like they used the beef bones to cook the broth, it’s more bland than sweet. The beef flanks tasted a little old, but the noodles were fine. My advice is, if you really want good phở, then you should go to a restaurant that only specializes in phở, those restaurants tend to spend a little more time of making the broth. This one, has a lot of items on the menu. I also ordered a chicken salad which was also subpar. The service was also mediocre. I felt rushed to order. The food came out fast, the entrée shortly after the appetizer. The restaurant itself was clean.

Don’t let the run-down shopping plaza deter you from some of the best Vietnamese food in the Reston-Herndon area. If the Tall Oaks plaza had an anchor store, perhaps more people would come along. Phở Reston 75 may not have an impressive storefront, but what’s cooking in the kitchen inside will surely delight your taste buds. There is no need to drive all the way to the Eden Center for authentic Vietnamese cuisine(unless you crave bahn mi or some sweets, I suppose). I’ve been coming here on and off since the beginning of 2013, after having lived in Reston for over 4 years(and half that time in the Town Center) and never knew about this place until a friend brought me here for lunch one day. The owners are very friendly and the service is super quick… Less than 10 minutes for a sit-down meal and less than 5 for takeout, on average! It’s so nice to be able to get authentic/affordable Asian food so close to home, even in the Western ‘burbs of Northern VA. The Phở here is decent(as is the phở place in Herndon by Hot Breads and Madina Market), but it’s the variety of other home-cooked dishes that keep me coming back. Not to mention that an entrée starts at just $ 8.95… Less if you go vegetarian! My favorite dishes are any of the vermicelli rice noodle dishes with freshly chopped cucumbers, lettuce, carrots and bean sprouts. The noodles are cold and fresh — you can tell because of their pristine white color(rather than clear, tinted artificial color) and how it glides down one’s throat! Top it off with peanuts and fish sauce. Get any kind of protein on it… I have tried the lemongrass chicken, beef and tofu and highly recommend them all. I love all things lemongrass and the flavor is super nice. In addition to the noodles, the fried rice and pan fried egg noodle dishes are also a hit. Even my very picky relatives from Singapore, on their recent visit to the States, who won’t eat at less than a $$$ restaurant, adored this little«home kitchen» and begged to come back. Business seems to be steady for this place, especially those who take out. Finally, for a taste of Saigon(not that I’ve been, but someday)… Try the salty(and sweet) lemonade, iced coffee with condensed milk and… For a well-deserved post-run treat, their freshly made boba tea(avocado and mango are my faves) milkshake! It’s so good you’ll want another one straight after! I’m so thankful for this amazing little Vietnamese place and look forward to visiting again and again.

In my journey to expand my palate and discover the wonders of the phở world, big props go to Neal E. and his invitation for me to accompany him and some fellow Unilocal-tastic folks for a weekday lunch at Phở Reston 75. Keep in mind that prior to this experience, I only have had one previous phở experience, but I’m a foodie and a quick study, so I’ll share with you why Reston’s Phở 75 earns its four solid stars(as backed up by Neal E. and several other Elite Squad folks). For starters, I liked the simplicity of this place, but appreciated that service was more attentive and menus classier and more descriptive than my other phở experience. Individually-wrapped chopsticks and spoons, nothing communal. Great prices and a reasonably-sized«regular» size bowl of phở. I can’t even begin to fathom ordering a large bowl when I can barely polish off a regular bowl. At Neal’s urging, I ordered a regular bowl of Phở Ga(chicken) — and I think I found Vietnamese chicken soup for the soul. The chicken slices were tender, all-white meat chicken, not dried out, and plentiful throughout the bowl. Broth wasn’t as complex as I was craving, but several swirls of sriracha, and ample additions of basil, fresh jalapenos, and bean sprouts served to cure what ailed my broth. Noodles were perfectly tender. Typical pay-at-counter, and flag down your waiter ahead of time so can get a to-go container. Visa and MC only, no AMEX. Oh, and don’t let the shopping center turn you away. Phở Reston 75 is a victim of its surroundings, much like the also-fabulous El Manatial and Mama Wok establishments. Sure, Tall Oaks could use a facelift and a nice anchor store, but really, the food speaks for itself at Phở Reston 75. I will definitely be back!

Whoa — it’s been a long 7 years since I’ve updated my review for Phở Reston 75! Time to remedy that! The incomparable Fenny L. and I met here for lunch. We both order a regular bowl of Phở Ga(sans the rice noodles). I’m on a low carb diet and often omit the rice noodles these days. Two steaming bowls came out fairly quickly. I added in the requisite lime, jalapeños, basil, and bean sprouts, and slurped my way through the bowl. As Fenny stated — it’s a darker broth than most Phở Ga broths. Actually, I’m not sure if it is a chicken broth or not — but it is tasty! Service was good!

When the God of Phở, Neal E, messages you on FB and invites you out to phở lunch… you drop everything and get your butt over to the phở joint. Which is easier said than done, when you’re as easily lost/confused as I am. Even with GPS, it’s so easy to drive past this shopping center, since the store fronts aren’t visable from Weihl, which is the main road that leads here. We both had the Phở Ga which was perfect. The broth was a little darker than I’m used to with a chicken phở, but the flavors were deep and rich and the thin slices of chicken were tender and flavorful. The service, like most phở places were pretty speedy, and this place had the added benefit of accepting credit cards. Which is super awesome when you’re not only perpetually lost, but perpetually forgetful about hitting up ATM machines, like me. All in all, superbly decent phở. The staff were friendly and didn’t even snicker when Neal E and I asked them to take our pictures after we ate.

So… we finally got around to eating here! I say«finally» because we walk right by it every time we go to MaMa Wok. We tend to go to MaMa Wok on Sundays and Phở 75 is closed then. After reading all the good reviews here on Unilocal,we knew we had to try it, yet it’s hard to resist MaMa Wok… Oh, the dilemma! But… since we were just at MaMa Wok this past Sunday, we didn’t feel bad about not going there again so soon. Perfect timing for a visit to Phở 75! We were here on a Friday night around 5:30 p.m. At that hour, there were only a couple of occupied tables so we were seated immediately by the window — not that there is much of a view. We each ordered a regular sized bowl of phở ga. My husband wondered if we should have large bowls instead. I told him that since we don’t know how large the large size is, let’s stick to the regular one. That turned out to be a good decision as the regular size was just enough to leave us feeling like we ate enough without feeling too full. I had a glass of water while my husband had a bottle of Heineken. As for the phở — we really enjoyed it! The broth had good flavoring that was pleasant but not overpowering. In fact, we liked it so much that we didn’t add any sauces to it. The side dish of veggies consisted of fresh and crispy bean sprouts plus an abundance of fresh basil. Also, there were some lime wedges. My husband liked the bean sprouts so much that he told me to take some before he took them all! I thought that the basil gave some nice flavoring to the phở. The chicken was all white meat and thinly sliced. There was plenty of cilantro and some green onion in the phở. I’m not a fan of raw onion so I gave the onion rings to my husband. He was glad that I did this because he liked the flavor that they brought to the phở. The amount of noodles was generous and they were well prepared. All in all a very good bowl of phở. Service was low key but friendly. When you are done eating, you go to the counter and pay your bill. At the counter there is a tip jar. Before the tip, dinner cost $ 20 + change. We certainly will be back!
