BEWARE and read the fine print. Ok so there is no print there are 20 signs but none that tell you that the $ 5 card deposit to do laundry is not refundable. The card system is used at all the other laundries that I have used and each of those the card deposit is refundable when done. Here you pay the $ 5 and that is just an added expense to do laundry. So unless you plan on always Doug your laundry here you may want to go down the street and save a $ 5 charge

This is about as good as you can get with local laundromats. They have people cleaning throughout which is nice because these places can be pretty dirty. Cleanliness is definitely a top priority here. There are tons of folding tables too. If you wash your clothes here it is about as pleasant as doing laundry can be. You can always go across the street to dunkin donuts while you wait for your clothes to be done. So not bad at all. I gave this place 5 stars because some lady changed her 3 year olds diaper on one of the folding tables which is totally disgusting — but a lady that worked there ran over as soon as she was done and disinfected it immediately. So, yeah, i’m a fan of this place.

Recently relocated here and needed a fast, clean, and convenient place to do laundry until I get my place set up. Great location, right on Broadway and plenty of free off-street parking. Hours are extremely convenient(I noticed they only shut down for a few hours in the wee hours of the morning). Good: Lots of machines in alternating values and sizes(Starting at $ 2.50 up to $ 5.50 per wash.) Bad: The machines are scattered around in random fashion — did have a hard time finding more than a few $ 2.50 machines in a row and it wasn’t even that busy Good: No need for quarters and change — they offer a card system. Bad: A card costs $ 5 and gets you NO credit. Bad: To buy a card you must have exact change($ 5 bill) Good: I got a $ 1 bonus credit for putting $ 20 on the card at once(oddly didn’t see this advertised…) Good: Tons of dryers — all large and $ 0.25 per 10 minutes Bad: Dry time seemed pretty quick on most machines, but questioned the lint build up on a couple(You cannot clear the lint traps… they are locked and handled by staff.) Interior was pretty clean. Didn’t really like the blaring spanish TV, nor a few kids who thought the aisles were their afternoon playground. Overall it’s a laundromat… I got my clothes clean. I felt the wash options were a bit overpriced, but all in all satisfied with the visit and will be back.

I have free laundry in my basement. I know that stating this will automatically induce hate for me in those who do not have this luxury; but I am willing to take the risk. I have free laundry, yes, but only if the machines are actually working. Our dryer is broken, and since we were going on vacation we figured we would deal with it when we got back and just lug our dirty duds down the street to this place. The boy was less than thrilled at this idea. Laundry is his very least favorite chore. If we were rich I am sure he would hire someone to do this for him. So anything more involved than walking downstairs is just down right terrible in his book, but I reasoned it out and he came around to my thinking. I didn’t want to make it any more complicated either but what were we going to do? Enter Broadway Laundromat. This place is pretty great for a laundromat; it is the first place that I have actually seen active employees sweeping and mopping during business hours. Crazy I know. It has the typical vending machines, TWO claw machines(one with they regular stuffed animals, the other with movies, watches, MP3 players, and those type chawchkies), two large flat screen t.v.‘s mounted on the wall(one blaring insane uni-vision game shows; the other is normally the Disney Channel). They have varying sized washers that cost from $ 2.50 a wash all the way up to $ 8.50 a wash, and from what I have gathered they only have one size dryer; but they are big and take only ½ an hour to dry our large loads; they cost $ 0.25 for 10 minutes. It is ALWAYS clean in there and always smells like clean laundry(kind of obvious I am sure; but I have been in laundromats that did not smell like that… not good, that’s all I’m sayin’). You do not need a fist full of quarter’s either. They have this ‘Value Card’ system; it is $ 5 to get a card and then you put as much or as little money on it as you would like(I do not think that the money that you put on it is refundable, just FYI). All their machines are formatted for the cards, and honestly I like it better, less loosing of quarters and more getting your money’s worth. They are right across the street from a Dunkin’ Donuts and a White Hen, and are right down the street from Luberto’s(go read my review of this bakery; the Laundromat’s proximity is a huge plus). They have their own parking lot that is never full and are open till midnight every day. I am thinking that fixing the dryer isn’t as urgent as we originally thought, especially if I have this place nearby to help us out.
