The other night I ordered the crab rangoons and chicken teriyaki appetizers. This was my first experience here for take-out and both apps were tasty. I recommend this place for anyone who is looking for Chinese food in the area.

I’m here from California and I have to say the food is the best in Boston. Great service and large portions. Thanks for the food

A small, efficient restaurant. The three delights soup is great. The lunch specials are reasonably priced and come with a lot of food.

I have never been disappointed when ordering from Jing’s. My favorites are the sesame chicken and scallion pancakes. The hott and sour soup is my husbands favorite in the area. Fast delivery even on busy Friday nights!

Just ordered for delivery and our food came 45 minutes later than they quoted originally. We called to check on our order after it was already late and still came 30 minutes later. When we told the delivery driver he responded«well then pick it up yourself next time» Rude service. Won’t be going back. Unilocal won’t allow me to give 0 stars.

yes. yas. yaaaaas. we finally found our go to chinese takeout place. previously we were doing teriyaki yummy, which had decent food as well as sugar buns and bubble tea. however, they were missing key things you want from a chinese place that kept us searching, like sweet and sour chicken, combination plates, and the ability to get smaller portions when you’re in the mood for a little bit of everything. jing’s garden has all of these things. i always get the sweet and sour chicken plate with crab rangoons and an egg roll. it’s standard americanized chinese and it hits the spot. even though it’s a lot of fried food, it’s light and isn’t greasy. i do always pay extra to get chicken or shrimp fried rice instead of pork though. the pork fried is fine, but since it’s the default for a lot of meals you sometimes end up with the stuff that’s been sitting around a bit. this way i get a better rice, imho.(leftovers are great re-fried with a little soy sauce, a runny yolk fried egg and some sriracha!) anyway, the chicken is great, and the sauce comes on the side which i like. it’s red(not that freaky gloppy pink stuff!) has cherries, pineapple, peppers, and carrots in it, just like the rhode island style chinese of my childhood. mmm, nostalgia. boyperson always gets the pork strips. i had never even heard of these, they are little round slabs of neon pink edged pork. who knew! he’s a big fan. he also likes the lobster sauce which is massachusetts style thick brown sauce with ground meat. if not those things then he gets the general gau’s which is also good. we’ve also had the pan fried dumplings(small size comes with four), chicken fingers(the small app size is huge, has nearly a dozen pieces), and miso soup — all excellent and the small sizes are enough to be a meal in themselves. recently tried the pork lo mein(as well as the shrimp & chicken varieties) which i also liked, comes with plenty of veg and not just meat. the scallion pancake leaves a bit to be desired — huge portion and lots of scallions, but they’re pretty thick and a bit chewy. the only thing i’ve had that i didn’t care for was the egg drop soup — too oily and the texture didn’t do it for me. could just be me though, as the only egg drop i’ve ever had is my mom’s «recipe» — a packet of lipton chicken noodle, extra water, and a scrambled egg drizzled in at the end. not exactly authentic but it’ll cure what ails ya. i also wasn’t crazy about the yang chow — this tasted great, it just wasn’t yang chow. i’ve yet to find a place around here that loads the rice with egg and shrimp like it’s supposed to be. the drivers are always friendly and on time and the food is hot and fresh and packed well — anything that could leak is always plastic bagged so you’re never handed any soggy greasy paper sacks. they also send plenty of condiments(and extra if you request it) and the ubiquitous bread rolls, and pack drinks separately so they stay cold and food stays hot. all in all, jing’s is our place and i’m happy our chinese food search is finally over!

Food was not the best and was a little cold when they delivered it. Defiantly had places that were better.

No complaints here! I’m a vegetarian and there are some good options for me. I like the taste and the quality of the food, and the people who answer the phones are always pleasant. Delivery is quick and the drivers are actually polite! Unusual for a Chinese food place… But Jing’s takes the cake as my go-to for all Chinese from now on.

Their food is very tasty! I tend to get chicken fingers, vegetable fried rice, boneless spareribs, and beef teriyaki — all of them usually taste great. Occassionally you might get one or two pieces of something that are kind of «Bleh»(hence 4 stars instead of 5) but overall I prefer this to some of the more local places in my area.

EW. Ordered from foodler to try to cure a hangover. Everything was flavorless and gross and ended up in the trash. Fortune cookie was fine, thank god. Other reviewers must be lacking taste buds because i can not understand the good reviews. I should have trusted my gut and ordered from my usual Thai place. Live and learn I guess.

I was staying at a hotel, and ordered delivery through the EAT24 app. I give 3.5 star for the food, and 4 star for the price, fast delivery of hot food, and ease of ordering. General Gau’s Chicken and Vegetable Chop Suey were good. The chicken dish had broccoli in it, but you can’t see it in the photo I posted. Spring Roll is huge, and everything is large portion.

Fine Chinese, not 5 stars, not even 4. A step up for the Saugus, a step down from Boston as whole. Their chinese vegetable soup is delectable. Other items just average. They make their moo goo gai pan, spicy… yuck.

great little place, food is pretty good and the prices are very reasonable. The only cons are closed on Mondays and delivery can take a while. Other than that the staff is all really nice and I have no problem giving them my business. veggie lo mien, chicken fingers, crab rangoons, and beef teriyaki are good here, sesame chicken however. not so much. But overall Jing’s will leave you pleasantly surprised

I’ve ordered their General Gao’s chicken dinner combination with pork fried rice and 2 egg rolls at least 15 times. Each time, it tastes as delicious as the previous time. Definitely one of the best take-out food places in the area. Orders are prepared very quickly too. I live about two miles away and by the time I call in my order, get in my car, and drive over, the order is already sitting there waiting for me.
