While in the Revere area, we decided to stop in at this Sleepy’s location to but a bed frame for a family member who just purchased a home in the area. When we called this store in advance, the employee who took the call was incredibly polite and informative. She told us about the options available and also made sure that she gave us the pricing with the taxes included. When it came time to pick up the bed frame, she remembered our call and was quick to get us in and out the door. She also took the time to hold a conversation with us and allowed us to pester her with a ton of ridiculous questions. In the end, we bough the frame we needed and spent what we expected. The best part of this purchase was the customer service which I believe was the best we have had at any Sleepy’s location.

I went to the Burlington store and got the typical sleepys used car salesman attitude. The guy undercut Jordan’s great price by 20% but I just didn’t want to give the sleaze ball the sale. On a whim I went to the one in revere and was blown away by the sales associate Karen.

I’d like to update you all on my situation below with my «rebate». I went back into the store and spoke to yet another store associate, Kevin, who informed me that the sales associate I had originally dealt with was no longer with the company. From there he called some sort of manager who told me, sorry you have to keep the gift cards we gave you. UNACCEPTABLE. I was told it was a rebate. Actual money not gift cards to home depot. From there Kevin called a regional manager who finally agreed to refund my credit card the $ 300. Sound great right? WRONG! That was almost two weeks ago. No refund. and now I can’t even find Kevin — isn’t that convenient. Sorry Sleepy’s but I am NOT giving up. You owe me $ 300. I am now filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Hopefully that will get me a response… or maybe I can find Kevin… anyone know Kevin???

The salesmen were VERY pushy and rude. I can’t stand that. How many times do I need to tell you I’m not buying a mattress today? I truly believe the best salesmen are genuine and caring. The staff here was neither. Their super secret«I need to check this price with my supervisor!» deal was over $ 100 cheaper on their own website… Stay away.

Sooooooooooo, sometimes it’s Sunday and after you’ve done your brunching, one must step back out of «picture-picture», and enter the world of domestic coupleship. The days of lounging in bed all afternoon are beginning to dwindle with the upcoming summer heat and there are things to be considered, ie: re-tiling the bathroom, installing the air conditioner, and pruning the shrubberies. And once you’ve finished going to Target to ogle toiletries, you might decide to take a trip to the new mattress store next door. After all, you break your back all day at the office and deserve a good nights’ rest. Not to mention the baby has been keeping you up until all hours of the night and Mamas tired. So take all that information, and forget about me being pregnant and replace it with wanting to check out the tempurpedic mattresses. We had assumed they were an overpriced gimmick with their NASA approved G-Force foam and suede covered mattress boxes. We enter and are encountered by the one of the two staff members, who is apparently uneducated in the worlds of foam, and we are introduced to another guy. This guy knew practically everything there was to know and I actually found his sales pitch convincing. He apparently travels between locations, and we were definitely not in the market for a mattress. But we both left dreaming of form fitting foam surrounding our tushies and sort of interested in what it takes to finance one of these Queen sized $ 3,000 beauts. Just as expected, I awoke with a stiff neck and back and had a dream about sleeping on someone’s couch. I’VEBEENBRAINWASHED. want.
