This is a great little breakfast spot in revere but don’t let its small size fool you. This place cranks out some great ll American breakfast. The servers there are really nice.

So after praising the lord baby Jesus, we decided to go and get some brunch. We were already on Broadway and there is very slim pickings with food. The good diner is always a great place so in we went. The accommodated us wonderfully there was 5 adults with one baby. I always get the hungry man there, it’s the best deal you can get there. Eggs, sausage, bacon and home fries, with either French toast, pancakes or toast. I always go the pancake route, always so good. Also the iced coffee a great snag, they put it in the big sofa cups so a lot of coffee in return. Great place to come definitely reasonable in pricing also.

This afternoon we stopped in at this diner for lunch after Mass and enjoyed our meal. We dined at this location before, but when it was owned by different management. The last time we dined here the experience was average, but this experience was incredible in comparison. From the moment we walked in the door the staff was polite and attentive. We ordered some breakfast and lunch items which were all delicious and the prices were reasonable. The steak bomb I ate was great and I stole a few of my wife’s french fries which were cooked to perfection. The empanadas were a bit crispy, but I actually appreciate the filling. In the end, we didn’t feel rushed during our meal and actually enjoyed talking with the two servers who were really personable. We can’t wait to eat here again!

Three stars for excellent coffee and really nice wait staff. The food, on the other hand… My sister’s omelet had a big chunk of egg shell in it. The corned beef hash had to be out of a can – very mushy. The eggs were a bit on the cold side. The breakfast burrito was excellent, however. A really nice neighborhood place with friendly people. But the food and kitchen staff really need an upgrade.

Fan of their pepper corned beef hash and you can’t go wrong with some m&m pancakes. Wish they had fountain sodas, specifically Coca Cola product fountain sodas, but hey, they can’t all be winners. Nice, friendly staff.

This place is wonderful. Great food an awesome service. Richie, the weekend worker, is super nice and a great server. It’s a great spot when you’re not quite ready to go home after a night out & don’t want to hang around the city… They’re open until 5am!!!

I have visited and ordered take out from«The Good Diner» on several occasions for breakfast. From my experiences I can say the food was decent but not the best. Perhaps my expectations are unrealistic but soggy, lukewarm French toast and raw bacon is not my idea of a tasty breakfast. The staff is usually polite; however, on this occasion I decided to try their delivery service. Apparently there was some kind of miscommunication, the driver got lost and my order was delivered a whole hour and a half late.(This has happened to me before but this time they were extra rude about it). I recall giving the diner a call — simply to inquire about the meal — and was greeted with a nasty tone and rude attitude in regards to the matter. I then called to cancel the order due to the delay and was told I could not. They kept insisting the driver was 10 minutes away when in reality he was not. I understand things happen but the customer service I received that day was disappointing and truly unacceptable. I even asked to speak to the manager of the diner and was denied. I have worked in the Food Industry for 14 years and I have never treated any of my customers in such a manner. As a result, I have decided to discontinue any type of business with them. I would rather dine at a place that handles their faults in a more professional manner. This place was not worth the headache or hassle. My advice to them would be to improve their delivery service or get rid of it all together and to consider implementing a policy that requires all your employees to wear hairnets as well. If cold food isn’t bad enough, try finding a long hair to go a long with it. Lastly, the customer is always right and being courteous goes a long way. I will give you one star and even then that may be too much.

Meh. Potatoes were bland, my omelette was bland, my boyfriends breakfast burrito was ok at best. This place gets three stars because the service was very good and bacon was cooked perfectly.

I live a block away from the good diner so naturally, I’m always there. The staff is always friendly and I can honestly say I’ve never been disappointed with the food. Best local pancakes and their chicken parm is to die for. It’s my favorite local place to eat and I love that you can order breakfast at any time!

I’ve eaten here maybe twice and birth times were bad. I love the staff and the coffee but the kitchen beds help and hopefully will turn over again so I can make a third time. I really REALLY wanna like the place because of family but I can’t if I’m not happy with the quality of the food.

The food is not good. The service and staff are friendly, however the food is just bad. I think everything is frozen — nothing fresh. FRESH makes a difference!!! I really hope the owner reads these reviews. The old Blue Diner was better!

Ok so The munchkin tells me at 1:45 local time, Daddy I want pancakes. Normally I would be like thats great honey but we cant get them right now. However, I had asked what she wanted to eat as we were going to board an airplane in 4 hrs to wing it back to So Cal. Boy did I open a can of worms. Especially with my dislike of places like IHOP. So I pulled up goggle maps and typed in diner… drove to the first one and it was closed! DAYEM! So then I get smart and called around and they all seemed to be closed at 1 or 2… seriously I thought diners were 24÷7… I guess not around here. So I convince the munchkin to hit a main drag near the airport and we will pick out something good looking. The next thing I know she is screaming its a diner we have to go there for pancakes! Well it is her birthday and we needed grub… so I flip a U’ee and the adventure begins… Pro Tip #1: The bathroom is in the basement. We get some friendly service by the classic diner lady(not a dis at all, she could have been a regular on Mel’s Diner and fit perfectly). She was chatty, super friendly, inquisitive the right way, and willing to share/change things up for us at her suggestion! So we ended up with a single pancake for the munchkin and I got a steak and cheese sammie with onion rings(ORs). DONOTCALLIT A PHILLY! Whoa nelly that wasnt the right thing to say its a Steak n Cheese here. Pro Tip #2: Metered parking on the street, the sidestreet appeared to have parking but not sure if it was free, metered, or permitted. So the munchkins pancake was huge like 8“s by .5″ high. It took up the whole dinner plate. It had a nice large pat of butter in the middle and had received a powdered sugar dusting. It was a sweet pancake with the dusting and the munchkin could only finish off half of it with a lil bit of help from me. I ate half of my sammie and half of the rings(with the munchkin stealing a couple). My sammie was very average in taste. I was definitely hoping for more flavor in the meat. So we grabbed the unfinished portions and tossed them into togo boxes for the plane ride. Needless to say another 5 hours or so and we were both starving and inhaled what was left. The sammie did taste better that evening then when fresh. the ORs were still tasty and the pancake remains were devoured by the gaping maw and whirling vortex that is my munchkins tummy. So overall its a fairly average diner with friendly service. I love the vinal seats/booths and ambience. I didnt quite get all the hookah stuff, but they also did a bunch of ice cream sales here I think. I would return if we were living in the area, but when we are on vacay, I have a strict no return policy.

This is really 2.5 stars, but three for the extra friendliness and effort. I guess this used to be a different diner, but I dont know. Anyways, it seemed to be very bright and clean in there, the breakfast menu was standard and a wee cheaper than other breakfast places. Be careful of parking. Revere signage sucks and you could get ticketed for parking in a perfectly legal spot. Back to the food. The service was very friendly, the place is open 24 hours/day and the food was just ok, nothing spectacular. I wish they made their homefries a bit crispier. I would like to try again for lunch or dinner though, just to see.

I have tried to like this place, I really have. It is walking distance from my home and it is a local small business so that would be great if I could make this a regular place for me to go. But if the food is bad that isn’t going to work. I gave it two go’s… Their buffalo wings obviously come out of ta bag in the freezer, then microwaved. What is sad is that you can buy better tasting wings in the supper market or even a gas station! Lot’s of places have ‘freezer wings’ so I thought it would be unfair to judge them on that alone. The southwest omelet had what looked to be one slice of sandwich ham diced up, cheese that was not visible(inside or out), half a bell pepper, a tiny amount of onion, and no spices — so it was really just eggs and pepper. It had no flavor other than pepper. The home-fries I had were so heavy spiced and salted I found them inedible. I’m a guy who likes his salt too, so that’s saying something. The toast was good, but it’s hard to mess that up. The Corned Beef is good. I’m befuddled by everyone saying their service is good. They have been very slow to respond to anything both times I have been, even though the place was all but empty both times. So, the good things I can say is that it is clean and they have good Corned Beef. Also, it is NEVER busy(but that is no wonder). I do live right by there, so even when I don’t go in I know they are empty.
