7WORDS — Great Service /High Consistency /Best in Brand With most brand-name restaurants, there’s a certain amount of complacency and that certainly applies to most fast-food places. however, this is not your typical fast-food restaurant. …and why is that? One word: Lifers. I have been hesitant to rate this restaurant because, as a child, I grew up literally«One tennis ball throw away» from this Wendy’s. I even worked here for a few months in the Spring of 186. However, I would guess that I’ve eaten there over 3000 times and spent no less than 15,000 dollars there — so when I say consistent, I’m saying 97% consistent. At the nearby Burger King, I have a very, very difficult time simply ordering a «Whopper with just Cheese, Mayo, extra mayo, and pickle. — they can’t handle that idea at all and I get either a loaded whopper with extra Mayo AND extra pickles, or I get a cashier at the drive-thru telling me «it’s not a plain whopper if you put stuff ono it. — then I have to go inside and explain that 30 percent success rate is not a success rate at all. However, I’ll save that review for my next trip to BK — we’ll see if they can top their normal mediocrity. I’m here to talk about Wendy’s on Main in Reynoldsburg. I order the Double Stack without Ketchup or Onion — no problems — I get pickels and mustard and cheese. I order the Double Baconator without Ketchup, and so it arrives. I ask for three double stacks minus Ketchup and onion on two hamburger(effectively two triple stacks) — and they do it — no hassle, no mistakes, no waiting. I eat fast food about 4 – 5 times a week all over Central Ohio — this place STILL remains among the best — and it has nothing to do with my consistent visits. Even with the steady staff of about a half-dozen lifers, there are still plenty of new cashiers, cooks, and drive-thru clerks. They always get the job done, PERIOD.

Usually I’m pleased with Wendy’s, but this last time was such a letdown. I ordered a «spicy» chicken sandwich, but it was more bland than dirt. I had to salt & pepper the hell out of my sandwich before I could eat it. That still couldn’t fix the dryness from the heat lamp it was probably sittin’ in for hours(or maybe days). I think it’s time to switch to Taco Bell for a while. And the Sprite or 7-up tasted like someone squirted some lemon pledge in it. But it is «fast food»; and you always risk being disappointed.

Apple pecan salad is awesome. Quality of lettuce much better than most McDonalds salads. Good quality overall. In my initiative to eat better this salad fit that criteria and was satisfying.

I keep ending up at Wendy’s because its my spouse’s favorite. Went there recently. Service was a bit slow. Got a salad which was okay. Wife got the tex mex salad.
