Soooo unhappy. I arrived at the Foothill, Rialto location at 11:15am. The clerk was very kind and helpful and pretty quick too. About an hour later I stopped to check the contents and when we opened the door, it came off of the tracks. We ended up having to call UHaul’s roadside assistance for help. He arrived an hour and 15 minutes later and couldn’t do the job without help. I had a storage deadline in Arrowhead, so I: a 50-something year old female, in 103 degrees heat had to balance myself on the bumper and wedge the cable while he stood inside and bent the pulleys. The entire repair from initial call to driving away was 3 hours and 45 minutes and I missed closing time at my storage. The roadside tech was kind, but I still feel so upset. I had to endure that ridiculous heat for hours, miss my deadline, and risk my safety-teetering on that bumper for a half hour. I contacted U-haul but they didn’t even return my calls. Very good customer service. They gave us the option to pick a day in advance and I called I was going to be an hour late and they explained what the process was and took care of it right away. Very satisfied and would recommend it to anyone else.
