Alamo Drafthouse Cinema – Richardson

My friend is always raving about how amazing this place is; being said, I decided to give it a try. I can honestly say this is now my favorite place to go to to watch movies. Seating is great, food is great, service is great, everything is great! My boyfriend and I came here and I wanted popcorn & a smoothie, so I ordered the truffled parmesan buttered popcorn (yes, you read right) and a strawberry milkshake. I saw that the kid’s had the strawberry milkshake for $ 3, so I asked our server if I was allowed to order the kid’s menu and she said yes. The tiny cheapskate in me was jumping for joy. After receiving our bill, they charged my milkshake for $ 6. I was a bit sad since I thought I was getting it for $ 3, but if I had the chance would I order it again? H-​e-​double-​hockey-​sticks yeah! My boyfriend said he wasn’t going to eat any of the food, but I kid you not he was eating half of it. It was so good that we couldn’t stop. I’m so excited to come back to eat here again!

This place is great! They usually offer discounts on Groupon. $ 5.00 movie tix. If you don’t wanna pay full price, this is the next best place to go. AND you can order food! Super coconut chicken strips. They have wine and beer too!

I’ve been to this particular Alamo half a dozen times or so. I was super intrigued by their no tolerance policy.
Here’s my conclusion. The food is meh (good luck getting a salt shaker from them before your food is cold), the seats are meh, and they are not at all vigorous about enforcing their signature policy. At least they comped us back in December with rain checks when the six year old three seats down from us kept chattering through The Force Awakens.
The AMC at Grapevine Mills has better seating and a tastier menu, Most Cinemarks in the area have the comfortable reclining seats and the phenomenon of jack wagons texting in theaters has mostly died down around here.
I guess we’ll see if it’s worth it to go back when the Alamo comes to Cowtown, but for now, we’ve decided it’s not worth the trip into Dallas.

We love this place! Great food and drinks, specialty menus items and a one of a kind atmosphere. The burgers are amazing, and we always start with the baked pretzel! Best place to see a new movie, or a replay of a cult classic!

Service was great but the food was awful. I ordered fish and chips, and both were burnt when they were brought to me. Not wasting my money here again.

I’ve never been to Alamo prior to this weekend, despite being from Austin, so I was very excited for my first trip!
I would like to stress how wonderful the staff is at this location. Everyone is personable, accommodating, and fun which really enhances the experience.
Prior to the movie, instead of local adds that show on AMC and SMG’s screens, we watched clips straight from old international cartoons and YouTube, all of which were amusing and themed according to the movie:
In the theater, they have a red light under the ledge where you keep your food and drinks so you can read the menu without turning on your cell phone light! The menu isn’t expansive but it’s filled with a ton of really delicious-​sounding items. My boyfriend didn’t really like any of the toppings that came with the pizzas they offered, so he requested a simple cheese pizza and they eagerly obliged, which was awesome!
They have an excellent beer selection and endless popcorn, which the majority of the people around us were enjoying.
The only reason I brought it down a star is because my boyfriend chose seats in the very top row and, because I’m short, it was hard to see over the ledge you keep your food unless I leant forward during the entire movie.
I would definitely return here again! It was a wonderful experience.

This was a just okay dining experience. I do not for see myself returning. Do not order the popcorn it is overly salty and not as fluffy as standard movie popcorn. Beware they are very strict on talking during the movie.

Pushy but fun

Took advantage of the free birthday movie. This place definitely has a character all its own including the curated previews. It’s quite an enjoyable different movie going experience. Now the reason for a 3 and not a 4. The first time I went here maybe 2 yrs ago (I have not been back till this year) I seem to recall the food being pretty good. I was trying very hard to recall what I got last time and I thought it was chicken tenders so I tried them again. Big disappointment. Glad I’m writing this review now finally to remind myself when I go again not to get the tenders. LOL. Unilocal is like my personal food diary that I share with all of you. ;-)

The Alamo Drafthouse Cinema has the same concept of Studio Movie Grill except this place has so many special screenings. I went to see the New Star Wars movie here on opening night and it was like a movie premier. They had people in costumes, we got cups and magazines with our ticket purchases. This place always has events like this and that is what sets it apart from other theaters.
Last night we went for a screening of a new movie that is going to come out. We were seated in the handicap aisle where the row is a little wider than the rest of the rows. They have bottomless popcorn and for a popcorn lover like myself that’s a PLUS in my book. I think the food is okay at this venue, I think they have better drinks though. I definitely like the no texting/​no talking policy. You would think this is just common sense but it is not. I give it a 5 star rating because the Alamo Drafthouse is like a socially acceptable nerdy place to go.

New, clean and comfortable to watch a movie with wide large chairs and smaller theater sizes. Had a burger that was very good and the never ending popcorn bowl was great. Service consistent with good attention to your needs. Will be back soon! Please build one in Frisco.

Alamo: First, whoever is in charge of your customer service responses is awesome. I love that you guys are a no-​nonsense theater and in giving such an amazing experience every time, you don’t have to take crap from anyone who is unduly dishing it out. It’s ridiculous all the low reviews on here are from people who have come like once and had a bad time (which is obviously super rare)
Can’t lie, I work at a theater, but I go out of my way to go to Alamo. The food is always hot, tastes so much fresher than Studio, and the adult milkshakes are sooooo good. Yes, it’s true sometimes the servers have a hard time seeing the cards when you put them up. I always stick mine up like 5 minutes before I may need a refill. Plus those giant sodas last darn near the whole movie. Next, anyone who’s not a part of the rewards program is missing out!!! It’s so nice to get updated with new movies, exclusive screenings, and super sweet rewards! I drive like 30 minutes to come here, and try and go multiple times a week. The beer selection is awesome, the specialty menus y’all put together are hilarious and delicious, and the servers are prompt. And the place is SO CLEAN. That’s major for me.
Anyway anyone who ever reads this, y’all are the bees knees. So thanks. Wish you weren’t so far away

After alot of hype and build up I was finally up north of I-​30 and ready to see a movie at the famed Alamo Draft House.
My first two thoughts of the place where one it smelled like an unclean bar and second it looked super fancy. So I overlooked the smell and hoped for the best. Then in the theatre itself everything seemed like counter top seating. Not a fan of counter top like that but shit happens sometimes and I can deal with it. After ordering some drinks and an appetizer I was ready to enjoy the movie. Once the food arrived I quickly realized either you have to have a trunk like an elephant if you want your food to sit on the counter top or hold the container in your lap. Wasn’t feeling that at all but again shit happens sometimes.
Cheese fries where quite tastey but milkshake was just meh. I’m glad I can say I have now tried Alamo out. This is just me, but next time I’ll push for SMG or a regular theatre.

Great movie variety and an awesome menu! Like a dive bar version of studio movie grill for people who really love movies.

Never had a bad experience at Alamo Drafthouse. Their seats aren’t quite a nice as LOOK’s sofas, or love seat recliner things, but that’s a small thing.
Between LOOK, Studio Movie Grill Spring Valley, and the Drafthouse, Alamo has the best food by far.
The only reason they lose a star is beer selection. You better like your super hoppy beers. They’re light on easy lagers, and they only have one wheat. Which would be fine, except it’s Revolver Blood & Honey. A wheat beer made for people who don’t actually like wheat beer.
Can we get some average ABV non-​hoppy beers on rotation eventually?
Otherwise, they’re doing everything right. And if it’s date night, the Drafthouse is the default choice for a movie because you know it’s the one place nobody is going to be spoiling your night out.

Best theater ever. I literally ONLY see movies here and at no other theater. The others pale in comparison!
First off, they have some amazing craft beer selections. & their food is great! They also have the best previews and short movies before your movie starts– it is an overall amazing experience.
Trivia night is also a blast– bring 2 – 5 friends and you’re ready to rock.
Go to Alamo if you haven’t yet!

Seats are reserved so you don’t have to worry about not having a seat or where to sit.
Good menu selection.
They are serious about noise and will kick you out if someone complains.

A godsend for moviegoers!
First I love that if you talk they kick your butt out!
Second it’s so easy and convenient to order tickets online and pick your seats. I get so stressed out about people talking and trying to get good seats and Alamo draft fixes all of it.
I have a victory membership and I get points for seeing a certain amount of movies every year. Those points go towards awesome things like free movies and food.

I have been to this location twice and to one of the locations in Austin. What I love about Alamo Drafthouse is their commitment to high quality food, consistent service, and an impeccable atmosphere.
This place is pristine (it is new). When you put your order card up it is taken promptly and they’ve simplified going to the movies for you. The pre-​shows before the movies are uniquely made by Alamo Drafthouse to fit the movie and are so entertaining. They are no nonsense about talking and disrupting the movie. They will put you out! I will admit that I was a little taken aback by that at first. After all, sometimes I need to talk things out! And I can do that very quietly. But I digress.
The menu is unique, with a mix of pizzas, sandwiches, entrees, brunch items, and desserts. They have themed menu items for certain movies. When we saw Hunger Games: Mockingjay here, we tried a President Snow White Rose milkshake and it was pretty darn good. The Katniss Ever Fries were also good that day, basically loaded sweet potato fries. I’ve also had the philly cheesesteak and the smoked bacon and chicken Sammie. The latter had a bit too much Dijon on it, my nose started burning a couple times, lol, but it was still pretty tasty.
Prices are decent. If you catch the first show of the day it is $ 6 and the matinée is $ 8. Also join their loyalty program, Victory Alamo. You get special discounts, a free ticket on your birthday, and the perks keep getting better the more you visit!

Wife and I were here for the first time on a Tuesday evening to check out the movie «The Revenant» at around 6 p.m. With many businesses around this area and not too many parking spots, you may find it challenging to secure a good parking space during peak hours.
The Theater looks cool and if you have purchased your tickets online, you don’t have to stand in line. They have kiosks where you can walk to and print your tickets and head straight to your theater. Remember, all seats are reserved when you purchase your tickets.
The Cinema has different prices for tickets depending on the show time, i.e. $ 6.00 for all shows before 12 pm, $ 8.50 for all shows between 12:00 pm — 4:59 pm, and $ 10.50 for all shows 5 pm and later.
The good thing about this theater is that they are really strict about NOT tolerating disruptive behavior. People do actually get kicked out, so tell your significant other or movie buddy to hush it down. Also, the sound and the screen at 4K resolution is pretty decent.
The theater menu has a bunch of items. There was a special ‘Trantino Menu’ at the time of our movie. We ordered the following:
$ 10 — THE HATEFUL EIGHT — Rye Whiskey, Aged Rum, Dry Curacau, Cinamon, Vanilla, Ancho Chile, Bitters — If you love whiskey, you gotta try this! This was in the Tarantino menu.
$ 8 — REPOSADO CHOCOLATE SHAKE — Reposado tequila, chocolate, cinnamon, whipped cream — This was delicious!
$ 10 — HATCH GREEN CHILE PORK STEW.-Tortilla strips, cotija, cilantro, avocado, flour tortillas. — This was really Spicy, but turned out good.
$ 12.5 — ROYALE WITH CHEESE BURGER-​Smoked bacon, cheddar, red onion, leaf lettuce, tomato, aioli. — Wife thought it was o.k. but she’s has had better.
Why the 3 stars? First, I was not a fan of their seating setup. The chairs are small and not that comfy. I would suggest they feature larger comfortable chairs with a table between the seats rather than a long bar. It was a hassle reaching up for the food and drinks from the long bar and when the food and drinks are on the long bar, they block you from seeing the screen.
Second, they need to improve the way orders are placed. Right now, you have to look for the small white pens within the railings, write down your order in the dim lights under the long bar and place your card upright within the railings on the long bar in order to alert the server that you’re in need of service.
We placed our order card in the railings and it took a while to receive service. I don’t even know how the servers can see those cards in the dark theater! They need to have an order system like SMG where you push a button to get service.

I really enjoyed the experience. Being served dinner and drinks while you watch a movie is great! During the movie you write what you want on paper. The servers bring it to you with no distraction. I really like the no children under a certain age rule and they are very strict with the no talking no texting too. Yay! I was very relaxed. The only two things is the server took my drink and food when I wasn’t done, but it was pretty dark and they probably couldn’t see well. I’ve been wanting to go to this draft house and I’m glad I was able to during my trip!

alamo drafthouse was my first dinner & movie experience and let me just say… it did not disappoint. my boyfriend and i went to see star wars: the force awakens for brunch and arrived 30min early for the pre-​show entertainment. our waitress chloe was very informative about the ordering process throughout the movie and gave us a heads up that the check would arrive ~40min prior to the ending credits so we would have ample time to pay — very simple/​efficient. my boyfriend had the mac & cheese, i had the pork sausage & peperonata pizza, and we shared the loaded fries. i will say that service was a bit slow, but then again, i saw that most people had ordered snacks, popcorn, etc. so that was fine.
the food itself was fantastic. i wasn’t expecting much but it hit the spot, especially when you’re sitting in front of a huge screen watching star wars. SO DELICIOUS. i loved my pizza and loaded fries (and would probably order them again). i also like their no talking/​texting policy during the movie because then i can enjoy the movie and food more. it also means you can come by yourself and treat yourself to a meal and movie. great experience, will definitely be back.

I’ve gotta say… Alamo is definitely making more of an effort. After I posted my review, I pretty much sent the same thing to Alamo. They deserve to know and try to make it right, right? Well, I think they’re definitely trying. My next visit was great, and the one after that was really good too. Both of these were sold-​out, new release movies in big theaters and I had zero issues with the service!
Obviously, I’m still wary. Two rights don’t make like eight wrongs vanish, but it definitely keeps me interested.
I’ll be back (like I said), and will likely update my review in a few months… Keep up the good work, Alamo!
(By the way, the Wookiee cookiees they had for Star Wars are fucking amazing and they should offer them ALL THE TIME, except maybe not because I’d gain 50 lbs…)

I was very excited when we got an Alamo Drafthouse in DFW. I had heard a lot about the dine-​in theaters from folks that lived in Austin /​San Antonio, and I simply HAD to try it.
Even with the hype, I was impressed, which is saying a lot. And not a moment too soon, either! While I used to enjoy going to the Studio Movie Grill, things seem to have gone downhill for them (in both menu and service). The Alamo Drafthouse serves as a clearly superior substitute for the SMG.
Their menu is PHENOMENAL. You can’t really go «wrong» here.
I’ve had many things on the menu. Here are my thoughts on those:
–The Black Bean and Chorizo Dip is quite good. (Similar to Gloria’s Bean Dip, but with Chorizo.)
–The baked pretzel is very good as well – and offered me an introduction to their house-​made spicy Shiner Bock mustard. The mustard is a VERY spicy mustard – which is just how this Unilocaler likes it.
–The Bahn Mi Hot Dogs are delicious, but somewhat spendy.
–The unlimited popcorn is of high quality, and should definitely be considered for long movies.
–The wraps are good, especially if you want a less ‘bad for you’ dish. Nothing super special about them, they’re just solid wraps.
–The burgers are also good, but again, nothing outstanding here. But they’re solid burgers.
–The pizzas follow the burgers and wraps – very good, but not anything super special. Again, solid option.
–Not that the DFW bar is set very high, but the Gyros sandwich at the Alamo Drafthouse is one of the best you’ll find in DFW. These are outstanding.
–For Dessert: The cookies are just stupid delicious. I’ve tried the chocolate chip and the peanut butter-​banana ones. UGH. My wife and I can’t get past the chocolate chip and banana ones. We get those all the damned time.
–Important: The rotating menu items are NOT to be overlooked! Specifically, as I write this review, Creed (the new Rocky movie) is in theaters and their rotating menu items reflect new movie releases. To honor Philadelphia /​Creed, they currently have a Philadelphia Cheese Steak Sandwich on the menu. Fellow Unilocalers, this Elite has made the trip to Philadelphia to try the originals first hand, and I can honestly say that the Alamo Drafthouse’s Cheese Steak sandwich rivals and probably beats any of the ones I’ve had inside or outside of Philadelphia. (Genos, Pat’s King of Steaks, Tony Luke’s, Texadelphia, etc…) GET IT. You won’t be disappointed. Also currently on the rotating menu, they have a Thanksgiving turkey burger (not bad) and Katniss Fries (Sweet Potato Cheese Fries with Shiner Bock Chili to honor the Hunger Games. Yup, they’re amazing.)
–If you’re lucky enough to order off of the brunch menu, I’ve only had the bananas foster french toast, which was okay (but hard to eat in a dark theater), and the breakfast tacos (excellent.)
Movie Experience: In summary, this is AWESOME. They’ve got the «written card» system down to a science, and the theaters are designed in such a way that the people that take your order and bring you your food are NOT a distraction to your movie! They are trained to duck as they walk in front of you, and swiftly grab cards and make your meal happen with NO distraction! This is unique for dine-​in theaters that I have been to. Also, if people are using their cell phones /​talking during the film, the staff serves as the gestapo for these jackasses. In R-​rated films, they are lampooned and made an example of before the movie. Bravo on this.
They do NOT have chairs that recline like Lay-​Z-​Boys like AMC Cinema Suites or similar, but this doesn’t bother me as these chairs make it impossible for the staff to serve you and those around you without walking in front of you and distracting you. (Still, the chairs you sit in are very nice, and much better than the «office chairs» at the Studio Movie Grill.)
Also, the Alamo Drafthouse has an old-​school feel for a movie theater, and regularly screen classics that can involve audience interaction. They also have the movie stars (in some cases) record custom greetings to be played before the movies. They also put together a 30 minute pre-​show to the movie (to replace annoying advertisements and trivia) of themed-​content per each movie (and sometimes offer a menu to go with that! They basically do all of the stuff that an amazing movie theater should do, and they do it awesomely.
They also offer a loyalty program. In just a few months, I have clawed my way up the ranks of their loyalty program, or as they call it, «Alamo Drafthouse Victory,» and am already a «captain.» I’ve gotten free appetizers, desserts, BOGO movies, etc. It’s a great program, it’s free, and you should join.
In short, the Alamo Drafthouse represents an in-​theater dining experience that is unrivaled by their competitors. They are the leader and «gold standard» for this type of restaurant. I’d drive an hour out of my way to go to a movie here.
Give ‘em a try – you won’t be disappointed.

If you know ANYTHING about me, you know that I am HUGE promoter of Alamo Drafthouse cinema’s. Living in Austin for eight years tends to rub off on you and if you move away, you start jonesing for that Drafthouse fix!
No lame advertisements before the movie, no «first look» crap — it is the real deal here! Instead of hearing the same annoying commercials like every other movie theater, you get a customized pre-​show that is catered to the movie that you are seeing. It is an experience LIKE NO OTHER! Be sure to get there at least 30 to 45 minutes early to get settled and enjoy the pre-​show!!!
Plus, if that awesomeness doesn’t tickle your fancy, well you have to love the bar menu and full menu that includes burgers, fries, tacos, pizza and a lot of American fare but are typically themed to some kind of movie menu items reference like the famous, «Royale with Cheese» burger or the Silence of the Lambs, «Cannibal Chianti.» Plus, you not only get the cup holder on the chair, like all theaters but a table in front of every chair — so you are not «lapping it.»
I can guarantee a good time at any Alamo Drafthouse, but also the one here in Richardson. Each are a bit different in their décor and location, but all encompass the, «Bad Ass Cinema» line.

I really enjoyed the YouTube clips before film, rather than the typical half-​hour of previews. There’s a full-​service bar and food menu. Unlike Studio Movie Grill, where you press a button for service, at the Drafthouse you write your requests on order slips, and stand them up on the little table that stretches across the row.
The pizza here was much better than SMG’s, and the beer selection is better as well. Any place that gives me the option for local craft brews is a-​okay, (Deep Ellum IPA, ftw).
They have a pretty strict talking and cell phone policy once the movie starts, and after one warning you may be asked to leave if there are complaints. I suppose it’s nice not having to worry about someone tweeting the whole time, but the whole thing felt a little heavy handed.
They often do special menus for big releases. We saw the 2^nd part of the 3^rd Hunger Games movie, and there was a special four-​item thematic menu. Overall, pretty good movie experience, all though it’s a bit of a drive for us, so it probably won’t be our «every movie» theatre.

What isn’t great about Alamo Drafthouse?! It’s an amazing experience from beginning to end every time.
Unlike a regular theater you get to reserve your seats so you can be guaranteed a seat in the place you want next to your friends.
The food is served right at your seat and is good quality. The prices aren’t too high and the service is fast and friendly. The menu offers a great selection (and great deals on staples like their bottomless popcorn)!
It is a strictly «no talking» theater and if there are multiple noise complaints about someone they will be removed without a refund so it’s a great place for people who don’t want to see a movie with little kids. However, they do have special movie showings where you can bring babies.
They have a full bar attached to the theater and they host really fun events such as quote-​a-​longs, old movies, themed movies, etc. This is by far my favorite movie theater!

3 lousy stars. I definitely was looking forward to Alamo Drafthouse based on the reviews, and honestly ANYTHING is better than Studio Movie Grill. Amiright?
We bought tickets online to see Spectre (super cheesy, btw). Ticketing process was easy peasy. The entrance is fun. They do themed movie nights, which I adore. There is a bar to the immediate left and a tasting booth was set up for a vodka brand they were using for the specialized cocktails based on the movie event. (They make a customized list of drinks for each movie) There was even a photo booth! It’s much cleaner than most theaters I’ve been to. I don’t know why places like these choose to use carpet, though. It stinks over time and just isn’t as easy to clean. I digress.
Seating was a little rough at first, but the employees were very quick to help and were super informative, which was promising. Good olé movie theater seats; no office chairs. (A plus.) I typically enjoy pre-​movie commercials, but they were really kept to a minimum because they played snippets of each decade of 007’s. (I’m talkin’ old, old reels) Lord, they were really cheesy, but I get it. It’s all in good fun.
I think this company could really benefit from an ordering push-​button light system similar to Studio Movie Grill’s. Here, you write your order down (there are dull orange lights underneath the table) and stick the ticket in a slot so that it’s standing upright, aaand that’s how the servers can tell you’ve ordered something… in the dark… for a full theater of people…
Let’s use some common sense here. Who thought of that? More importantly, who approved that idea? It’s a setup for failure. Consequently so, it took them about 30 minutes to see our flimsy white piece of paper in the midst of a hundred people. A couple servers passed through without picking it up, so that was slightly disconcerting.
We ate next door prior to the movie, so we didn’t get to try the food, but the menu definitely looks more appetizing than I expected. The drinks were actually pretty decent! I had a nice buzz, although I didn’t try any of the specialty cocktails… mainly because they were $ 13 and up.
All in all, I suppose I’d come again. I don’t mind giving them the benefit of the doubt just once.

I’m not a fan of going to the movies. I’ve spoiled myself by watching TV/​films at home the way I want to: on my own time, with my own food, in peace and quiet with no one smacking on their popcorn/​candy in my ear or whispering throughout the film. But if you have to drag me out to a theater take me to Alamo! I won’t object.
Most of the things I don’t like about movie theaters are taken care of here.
1.) It’s clean. Imagine that! A lobby, bar, and theaters that aren’t covered in sticky who-​knows-​what or have popcorn spilled all over the floor. Even the bathrooms were very clean.
2.) No talking of texting. Like, for real. You’ll be asked to leave from the theater after a warning. Good, go talk somewhere else you inconsiderate fools. Why do people pay to see movies if they’re going to talk/​text throughout? So rude.
3.) Assigned seating. This keeps everything simple and organized and everyone is happy.
4.) Fantastic menu. Can you believe they even have a lovely cheese plate and gluten free pizza? They told me their kitchen staff takes food allergies very seriously and I would be taken care of. One of the best GF pizzas I’ve ever had, no joke. Tons of stuff on the menu from burgers to hummus.
5.) Popcorn served in big stainless steel bowls. Not only does it make you feel like you’re at home, but you don’t have to worry about stupid flimsy bags getting knocked over. There’s seriously no excuse for getting popcorn all over the place at the movies. I don’t get it? Do people just shovel handfuls into their face and 87% of the kernels miss their mouth? Do people just dump their remaining popcorn out on the floor for fun when they’re done? Eat and act like a polite human being, please.
6.) No kids. They’re strict about parental guidance and kiddos must be accompanied and quiet. Shhhh.
7.) Leather seats. You know they’re cleaner than those fabric seats at others theaters!
8.) Fun movie night events. We just recently attended a Hocus Pocus quote along which was soooo great. They had a themed drink menu, pens that looked like mini broomsticks, and glow sticks to represent the black flame candle that Max the virgin lights. Alamo goes all out with the theme nights and it makes for an extremely fun adult night out.
9.) Legit bar with alllll the drinks. Craft beers from Texas, ciders, wine, cocktails. Extensive revolving menu.
So yes, I’m a fan. The staff is amazing and really on top of everything, and the prices are definitely affordable, especially considering the level of customer service and product you’re getting. Love it here!

My girlfriends and I went to a Hocus Pocus quote along for Halloween because who doesn’t love Hocus Pocus?!

This was a hilariously fun night, and I can’t wait to do something like this again. It was made super easy, because I was able to get my tickets online several weeks in advance, pick my seats for all of my girlfriends to sit together, and just show them a nifty little barcode when I got there! WHA-​LA! Seven tickets printed out and we were on our way… until we decided to stop and selfie and were photobombed by Winifred Sanderson, our emcee for the evening.
When we sat down we had a fun customized festively witchy menu, directions to «quote along» with the movie, a glow stick to wave when Max the virgin lit the candle, and a special broom pen to write all of our orders down throughout the movie. (No talking allowed typically at this theater– but on a night like this, they let it slide!) They only thing I was a tad disappointed in, is that I thought the crowd would be rowdier! I was so excited, singing and screaming with excitement (ask my friend who sat next to me, her ears were not having as much fun!).
I had the Spicy Blue Burger, a Fireman #4 Blonde Ale and a Revolver Blonde and Honey. Okay I lied… I had two of the ales, then the blood and honey, but I was out. with out kids… on and Wednesday, it was TIME TO CUT TO LOOSE YA’LL!
Our waiters Cannon and Taylor were swift (Taylor.swift…see what I did there??!) and friendly! Loved them and their hilarious attitudes!
Literally, I cant wait to go back! What’s next?! Mean Girls?!
…and wave my glowstick the whole dang time!

Beer, food, and movies. Done, done, and done.
However, I wouldn’t watch a real serious movie that has a lot of silence in it though; the noise of people eating would probably get annoying.
