So good! It has just replaced my other favorite Thai restaurant. Atmosphere is very nice and the staff was very accommodating. The Tom Kha soup is outstanding.

This review is for the Saturday afternoon Thai tea. Basically it was a lovely experience with delicious treats and outstanding service from the staff. However I have a problem with the price. It’s $ 35 for three tiers of food, with three teas to accompany each tier. The 1st tier was more savory with two little sandwiches and a curry puff — all very good. That was served with green tea. The 2nd went sweeter with a terrific coconut panna cotta(I want a normal sized portion of that!), a tasty coconut sticky rice pastry thingamajig that was bit chewy and hard to eat, and a little rice cake that had a curried sauce for dipping. Yes, a rice cake, like what you force upon yourself when dieting. Though once you add that yummy sauce — and everything else served with the tea, it was as far from diet as possible. The tea for that tier was a delicious chrysanthemum tea that was a pretty yellow and probably my favorite of the three. The 3rd tier was all dessert with both matcha and green tea macarons(both good but overly sweet in my opinion) and an amazing passionfruit/chocolate tartlet. We were also served a beautiful and delicate sesame cookie that was so good I wanted more(and got an extra to go!). It was Thai tea with that tier(say that 3x fast). It was good and strong but I still prefer it cold and mixed with milk. So back to the pricing… when did we all get to this point where we droolingly accept to pay $ 125 for a «pop-up» dinner, or a *Your City* Supper Club that may or may not include wine pairings, but for that price really should include a foot massage with each course? And yes, hubby and I have gone to one of those overpriced supper club dinners and enjoyed ourselves… but we know we’ve spent too much and swear we won’t be swayed into another one… until we go to another one. I haven’t been to a traditional High Tea before because there’s something about spending $ 60 for some Earl Grey and a cucumber sammich that doesn’t sit right. Ok, so $ 35 is much better, and with much, much more interesting treats, but it’s still quite a bit more than I think is fair for this. However the food and service was wonderful and I’m looking forward to coming back for dinner or lunch one of these days.

I enjoyed the food at this restaurant, but they have several service issues to work out. The décor is very nice, probably one of the best in Richardson. My meal which I guess was an appetizer came out as an appetizer. Usually waiters can catch that because indigent order anything else, I got an appetizer for my meal. Not only that but I had to ask for the sticky rice I ordered with my meal, Tom Kha Gai. They serve the sticky rice in foil which I found u usual. It was very hot and it seemed to keep cooking in the foil, so much so that by the end of my meal it was very hard and dry. I was very pleased with the Tom Kha Gai and they were able to make it mild for me, which some restaurants can’t. I love that it was served in a hot pot. At the end of the meal, they bring out complimentary jasmine tea(it was really hot) and a fried slightly sweet sesame cookie. I found the tea and cookies a gracious ending to the meal and it made up for the mix ups in my book. I’ll let them work on that and I will be back, especially for their version of British High Tea with Thai flavors.

This place is actually good. Most Thai restaurants around here are mediocre so I didn’t expect much from their new joint. It’s right next to Masami on Beltline. I came on Sunday night to pick up fried rice, pad see ee, papaya salad, and tom yum soup. It seems like a slow Sunday night but I’m assuming it’s because this place is new and not many people know about it. I brought the food home and ate it an hr later when my friends came over. The food was good. They probably taste better if I had them warm or hot. I asked for super spicy tom yum soup and sure it was spicy. The papaya salad was tangy and refreshing. I also highly recommend the Bangkok fried rice and pad see ew too. One thing I wasn’t as fond of was the beef. I think they can improve on that. My friends were pretty impressed also. I’m glad to find a decent Thai place in Richardson. Definitely will come back for more yummy Thai food.

This was our first time here and it was SO good. Our waitress was attentive and so was the rest of the waitstaff throughout our visit. We tried the Crispy Spring rolls and The Chicken Tom Yum soup and they were both really well flavored and well done. We both got the Pad Kee Mow and it definitely ranked high up on our list of great Drunken Noodles! The chicken in mine was delicious, his tofu was crispy on the outside and didn’t fall apart(important!), and the vegetables in both were really fresh and wonderful. The presentation was wonderful and the décor was gorgeous and definitely different from other Thai places I’ve been to. It’s also BYOB so next time we go we’re definitely bringing something along!

Man, I so wanted to love this place and express my love in the form of a four or a five star review, but I cannot get there from my first visit. The place… It is beautiful and almost striking as you walk in, especially for the area it is in. You can see some of this in my pictures I posted, and I can tell you that my pictures do the place no justice. Service…Everyone was friendly and helpful. I commend the staff and the management for hiring them. Food…The food was just ok, nothing special really, except for the presentation. The presentation was artwork to be admired, garnished with miniature floral arrangements. But that is where the differentiation stopped for me. My appetizer, the Bangkok Crab Sticks was pretty good, but my entrée, pad see ew, was not even in the top 20 I have tasted. It was not bad, it just lacked a depth of flavor that transfers to the dish through a well seasoned wok, and the chicken I added to it was tough. In summary, I really did want to like this place from reading the reviews and seeing the interior and then seeing the presentation of the food, but on this visit I cannot even stretch to get there. I always give places more than one try, so we will see where it goes from here on future visits.

First time here. All the positive reviews were right. Great service, high-end presentation of the food(my wife wanted to keep the flower arrangement as a corsage) and the food was remarkable. We went with a a standard Thai dish of Pad Kee Mow and then tried something a little different with the Roti Y Gai. Both were excellent with the latter being a curry dish accompanied by small pancakes. Flavors were spot on. We’ll be back.

Excellent Thai food and service. The tom yum soup was great as were the dumplings. The chicken panang was a little sweeter than most but also excellent and the sesame cookie and tea at the end of the meal was a wonderful finish to the whole meal. Definitely going back again:-)

Service was beyond excellent, and the atmosphere was nice, very modern. They could use a vestibule for the colder months. Food was good, and beautifully prepared, I had the green curry which had a perfect blend of creaminess and heat. The veggies were very fresh, though I miss Thai eggplant whenever it’s not used in a curry. The rice was molded into a really cute butterfly shape. The only downside is I had mine with the squid, and it was a little chewy and had a very faint fishiness. I think we were there the first week they were open, so there may not have been a lot of turnover in the food. For desert there was this delicious fried flower cookie thing – despite being fried it somehow managed to be extremely light and delicate.

Been here twice now, once for dinner, once for lunch. Both times the food and service were good. They also do a great job with the presentation of the food as well as the décor of the place. It’s a nice restaurant. My only beef is that I wish the food would be spicier. I’ve asked for it hot, but they always ease up(probably figuring i’m trying to show off) and it’s yet to be as hot as I would like. Bonus points for being BYOB. If you like Thai and Richardson give this place a go… and support them so they’ll stick around.

Must try! Great atmosphere! Clean and food has amazing presentation along with amazing taste! My fiancé and I started out with corn patty and beef jerky! Yum yum! As for our meals, we had volcano chicken and hotpot clay with shrimp and glass noodle. First of all, I love how chicken volcano has so many mix vegetables along the chickens were fried so it was perfect combinations. As for the hotpot clay with glass noodle and the shrimp, it was very unique. It was not soupy as I would have expected. It’s a dry noodle has good amount of so is not too dry. Shrimp was fresh, only thing that is was down side was I had to peel my shrimp lool(I’m lazy person) but it is something def. unique We finished our meal with two type of dessert. First one was black sticky rice with plum seed, as much as it sounds exotic, flavor was also unique! Had amazing presentation and I wasn’t much fan of this but my fiancé loved it. As for me, I had sticky rice with Custer, it was YUM! Perfect way to end the meal if you have sweet tooth! Plus after meal, they served you amazing tea that they brew specially from house along with sesame crackers! MUSTTRY!!!

We stopped in for lunch(before a movie at Alamo) and wow! This is our new pre-movie place to eat. We eat a lot of Thai food, and this place really shines. They were serving High Tea(Saturday afternoon) in one side of the restaurant. We were the only customers on the other side of the restaurant. The service was excellent and our meal was not only delicious, but also beautiful. Our chicken satay came out with a mini hibachi(?) grill. My Red Curry was accompanied by rice shaped like a butterfly. For dessert they brought us sesame cookies. The taste was amazing, and they looked like flowers. A great experience all around. The prices are very reasonable for the excellent quality of the food. We will definitely be returning.

Yum! Authentic menu options, some that you don’t see often in other restaurants. Modern presentation and BYOB! Need to come back to try out their Saturday afternoon tea menu, RSVP only. Will likely come eat here before hitting up Alamo Drafthouse from now on!

Went here for an early lunch today. We were the only ones in the restaurant at 11:30 but it’s still new and is sadly in a TERRIBLE location. Unless you know what you’re looking for, it’s easy to miss. I do want them to get a lot of patrons, because this place needs to make it! Everything that should be good is superior. The restaurant is beautifully appointed and the service was friendly, attentive and fast. The food — oh my, this was one of the best Thai meals I’ve had in a long time. Prices were good as well. I will definitely return and I’m glad these folks opened up a wonderful restaurant in Richardson! No alcohol at the moment and I forgot to ask if you can BYOB. Hope so!

Very good food! I love the presentation!!! I went when they had their grand opening. I wanted to order the salmon panang lunch box but unfortunately they said that it could not be made cause they have yet to start it. But then suggested I order the salmon panang dish instead of the lunch box(???) strange but I followed the suggestion anyway.(They said they will serve the lunch box maybe next week) I also ordered the chicken satay(Recommende by them.) DELICIOUS! I love the flavor! Next, I had the Pineapple rice, I think it was definitely good with flavor but too sweet for me. I still would order it though. But The chicken dish(I can’t remember the name, # C.6 on the menu) was one of my favourites! I can’t wait to try high tea next week. 24 hour reservation required and it costs $ 35. Besides the food, staff was extremely friendly and try their best to help out! 5STARSFORTHAT! Awesome! Thank you! Also, Love the decorations of the place. For those who are not familiar with the Richardson, it’s next to Payless shoes. Next to masami restaurant. I had trouble finding it with my gps. All in all, I will return soon!!! UPDATES!!! 19th December 2015, Today I had the high tea! Delicious and definitely unique! I’m Malaysian so the taste is all too familiar with a twist! The tea comes with 3 different pastries, the croissant serve in pad Thai noodles(I was okay with this. I think it would be better if the dough was light and crisp and extra meat), curry puff(my fav!), and curry sandwhich(good). The 2nd tier had a good selection too which can be seen in my pictures and the final tier had macarons! Delicious but too sweet for me. Served with 3 different teas! Green tea, chrysanthemum tea(my fav) and of course, Thai tea!!! Very good and I can’t wait to be back!
