Chi is always professional, patient and dedicated to her work. She understands my hair better than I do. I’ve been going to her now for almost 20 years! I recommend her to all my friends! She’s the best!

She cuts great, styles well, and at a very reasonable price! Only thing keeping me fr a 5 star is that she is consistently late. I always have to wait 15 – 20 min after my appt time to see her. And book a month in advance !

Due to problems with a water leak a little less than a year ago, Chi no longer has her business in this location. She moved around a bit, but I believe she is now permanently located at Imagique Salons on Campbell and Greenville. Her contact number should still be the same though. But on to my review…
I’m the kind of person that absolutely hates switching hairstylists, because I don’t like to be disappointed with my haircut. With that said, a few years back, I needed to find someone new because my old hairstylist moved to a location that was too far away. I was really hesitant when my friend suggested Chi, but I figured, might as well. I’ve been going back to Chi ever since and I like her better than my old stylist. She is the kind of person that pays attention to details. I asked for a lot of layers, and she took her time, and gave me exactly what I wanted. As she’s working, you can tell how focused she is in her work. She knows how to style your hair in a way that matches with your facial structure. I’ve gotten plenty of compliments on my hair since I started coming to Chi.
Also, Chi is super sweet and accommodating. You can tell she’s busy because she is always booked full whenever you try to make an appointment with her. However, she will always do her best to move her schedule around in order to fit you in.

I moved to the DFW airport area and went to so many people to wax or thread my eyebrows… no one is even close to as good as Chi was! So, now, I’m going to make the 45 min commute every other week for her to wax my brows. She makes them look perfect! Thank you!

A friend recommended Chi when I moved here 4+ years ago; I haven’t felt the need to look elsewhere.
Chi is very meticulous with bangs & layers, giving me the exact look I want. The final blow dry + styling always look cute, modern, and flattering for my face shape: I get compliments even after sleeping on it for a night. :P
Chi is friendly to talk to, but would politely leave you alone if you prefer to zone out during the cut. She is very popular and gets booked to do hair + makeup for weddings, so be sure to make an appointment: call 2 – 3 weeks ahead.
At $ 25 for my shoulder-​length hair (which includes washing, cutting, and styling), I can’t imagine a better ~40-​minute experience. Chi may occasionally run 10 – 15 minutes late given the constant stream of customers. But definitely worth the wait. Bring cash/​check.

Thank God for Chi! She is amazing. This is the one place I can go to get my hair cut and I dont have to have a panic attack worrying about how it’ll come out. Chi does really well with thicker hair– and she does a beautiful blow dry with your cut for like thirty bucks. Spent $ 90 on hair cuts that are a complete waste. You’ll have to make an appointment ahead of time to get in; and I don’t think she takes cards.

incredibly happy with my haircut! haven’t been this happy with a cut in a long time. the owner was soooo sweet. she definitely took her time, focused, and even taught me a new thing to do to my hair to make it more voluminous!
the hot water pipe froze and broke the day of my appointment, so i had to deal with a cold water wash, but it didn’t matter because she was so kindly apologetic about it. plus, it wasn’t her fault — it was the fault of dallas crazy weather.
bottom line, c&s is a fantastic cut for a great price — just $ 30 for my long hair. definitely call ahead to make an appointment, she gets busy…

My sister had always gotten her hair done by this lady named Chi (owner of C&S) for the last 10 years. I had always gone to Tony and Guy for my $ 80 cuts or uptown for my $ 75 cuts. I’ve gotten my hair done by the #1 hairstylist in Taipei. When I go to Houston, I get my hair done by this award winning stylist.
A few years ago, my sister finally convinced me to go to Chi since this place was much closer to my home and she charges less than half of what I usually pay for. My sister lives in Austin and comes back to Dallas to get her hair done by Chi.
For cuts:
Chi isn’t as good as the award winning stylist in taiwan or houston… but she’s just as good or even better than the ones in uptown and tony & guy. I am extremely happy with my hair cuts every single time I visit her. And her service is extremely affordable and she is SUPER super sweet. I usually get my hair tapered on the side with a razor cut.
She is extremely good with hair styles: prom, wedding, and special occasion up, down, and halfway dos. Most of my friends and their entire wedding parties get their hair done by her.
I love the princess look– half up and half down. I asked her to do that for me and at the wedding, all the girls came up and loved my hair. One girl even said: I’ve been in about 5 weddings and seen soo many princess half do versions, your hair is the MOST perfect version i’ve ever seen. who did your hair? I handed chi’s number out to 10 girls that night.
50% of the time, she runs about 15 – 30 minutes late. That’s only because her clients run late, which makes her run late.
Parking, there are only 3 parking spots in front of her salon. There are plenty of parking spots across the street where Bobba Latte.
