I’ve been coming to this location for about a year now, seeing how it was right across the street from where i worked, it was convenient and have spent hundreds of dollars here along with coworkers. But as of today we were told that we were«no longer welcome» at this establishment anymore. Because staff complained and said they didn’t want to do business with ANY constuction workers anymore on a account of a couple of gangsta homies playing rap music one day? The staff IS rude 75% of the time and act put out when working, Because of all this i will never again eat at Einstein bagels and support your local bagel/bakery shop.

This is a good place to study in the mornings because there are plenty of outlets, the seats are comfortable, it’s empty in the morning, and there’s yummy bagels! The only bad thing about this place is that it is FREEZING. I always have to bring a pair of fuzzy socks with me because even if I wear sweaters and long pants, my ankles will still freeze off. I love their turkey bacon avocado bagel and their cinnamon raisin bagel with strawberry shmear. Both are so delicious and they slather on SOMUCH shmear.

Don’t get me wrong, I love Einstein bagels and i love how close this is to me on campus. But the reason I give it a 3 is because of the overpriced sandwiches and how cold they blast the ac. It’s 40 degrees outside and it feels almost the same inside. I think something is wrong with that. If the workers are hot, find a way to cool them down that won’t freeze off the customers. Speaking of workers, they work as slow as snails. Watching them work make me want to do it myself. And I’ve never worked at subway before. On the positive note, their bagels are delicious! Be sure to ask to get them toasted! Although their fall edition is over, you might still be able to buy tubs of pumpkin shmear, which I totally did and it’s totally worth it. Sandwiches as mentioned before are pricey for the amount, but in case you want to indulge a bit, I recommend their smoked salmon and mushroom Swiss spinach egg one in the breakfast column. Be mindful that sandwiches take longer to make than shmear plastered bagels. Their coffee is mediocre. If you’re a Starbucks person, it’s probably fine, but if you’re anti-Starbucks or a coffee-snob-in-denial or some kind of hipster, I wouldn’t recommend getting it. Their strawberry banana smoothies are good though if you want a drink. //edit: their chai latte is DISGUSTING. it tastes like spicy milk. Great place to study and get work done(minus the freezing temperature-I’m wearing gloves here as I type). That’s all. Bye.

I would come here more often if it didn’t take them 15 minutes to make an egg sandwich when it’s not even busy and if they weren’t so rude when I tell them I’ve been waiting for 20 minutes and wanted to make sure nothing happened to my order. As if they couldn’t do anything wrong and I’m the bad guy for letting them know how long I’ve been waiting. Yes Einstein Bagels has great food but at this location at UT Dallas, I don’t think it’s worth the wait or talking to the rude staff there.

This is honestly the first time I’ve ever eaten an Einstein Bros bagel, much less at their newly opened location at UT Dallas. It’s located at the ground level of our newest parking structure across the street from the freshmen res halls. Walking to and from my on-campus apartment, I can easily make my way over and get a bite to eat before or after class. Its location on campus is a unique and brilliant idea. Since it’s just recently opened, I believe the staff is still getting used to making food for several customers at a time. My friend and I headed over when it wasn’t busy at all. Yet after waiting for several minutes, my friend had to remind the staff of the smoothie he ordered. Thankfully, our friendly cashier decided to throw in a free dessert to offset our waiting time. I’m hoping that with experience, this will cease to be a problem(or we can continue getting free desserts). Additionally, this Einstein Bros is only open from Monday through Friday, even closing early on Fridays. I know that UTD is mostly a commuter campus, but it would be cool for students living on campus to have a go-to eatery on the weekends. I’m hoping that with future student input, this Einstein Bros will expand their opening hours. On the bright side though, the UTD location closes at 6pm Monday through Thursday, which compared to other Einstein Bros Bagels around the area, it’s the latest closing time. Despite all this, I can’t wait to call this place my new daytime study spot. The place seems chill and it has coffee.
