I’m glad these guys have a drive through, because the interior of the restaurant would make anyone doubt the safety of the food.
This location is in serious need of a remodeling. The floors were unswept, sticky and dirty with bits of paper from straw wrappers. Unbussed tables sat dirty; unappealing yellowed pictures of the signature KFC dishes hung on the walls. Chipped tile work surrounded the ordering counter while missing and stained tiles adorned the ceiling… and a soft drink machine with a loose front panel held on by what appeared to be (I kid you not) employee orientation name tags. Frankly, the place was a wreck.
From when entering the restaurant, it took me just under a half-hour to get my 12-piece tenders meal.
There needs to be some serious discussion with the owners; with rivals Canes and Chick-fil-a just a block away, this KFC has to do better in order to stay in business.

Horribly slow service. It took 25 minutes to get a simple lunch order. Wee practically had to beg to get straws and napkins. There were a lot of flies Inside. Gross.
There seems to be a pattern with KFC. Spend a lot of money on bad advertising dollars and ignore the franchises.
I think this is one company that should go out of business.

I went to KFC for lunch today with a crew from work. The 1.99 chicken fried steak is a staple on their lunch rotation. I’m a big fan of fried chicken and chicken fried steak. Sadly I did not get the chance to sample anything from the menu.
I decided I wanted chicken tenders for lunch today. Big mistake on my part.
The experience was so bad I could never even complete my order. The cashier taking my order ignored my several attempts to order six chicken tenders. Not only will I never return to this KFC I will never go to another one.

I have been going to this KFC for a long time. They have had ups and downs. The ups are now of the norm. It looks like they have a stable crew now. I went there for dinner before the 5pm rush and they had tons of chicken and sides. The women behind the counter (the team lead) was so nice and fast. The other staff members were cooking and cleaning. I left with tons of chicken for my family and the order was right. I read alot of reviews for other KFC’s that were bad. If you want a great KFC with a great staff come to Richardson and eat happy.
