She has been doing work for me for years! She is great, quick turn around and great work.

Great work! As a shorter person, she modifies my dressy jacket sleeves and pant lengths to fit me. A few times she has repaired a ripped seam or a loose button while I wait — and offers healthy snacks!
Been going there at least 15 years and she always remembers to ask about my family! She is a very friendly person and aims to please her customers with her work & reasonable prices.

I thought it was a good place to get fixed my clothes but it was a big mistake… She is the rudest person I have ever seen… She got my dresses and didn’t tell me the price… When I go to get them she asked me $ 40 which I haven’t have that much with me… It was two dresses to fix little… And she said «if you don’t have money I won’t give you your dresses… You can sue us» … She didn’t give me her boss’ number or any information to reach her… I left my dresses over there and never go back…

I decided to try this place based on the reviews. Big mistake! I wanted the waist taken in on a pair of jeans. Not only did she take in too much, the workmanship is horrendous. She charged me $ 16 for this shoddy work. After I pointed out to her that the seams on one side were totally off, she offered to fix it and told me to come back in an hour. Came back and she gave me the same exact jeans with nothing fixed. On top of the bad work, she wasted my time.
Maybe she’s good with very basic tailoring but if you have anything slightly complicated that needs to be done, stay far away. She’s nice but takes zero responsibility for mistakes or work beyond her skill set.

Kim and her staff are some of the nicest people and tailors you will meet. She is super friendly and is definitely there to help you get what you need tailored done.
I went in to get a few inches off a formal dress I bought at a consignment store and Kim did it wonderfully! Her prices were fair and I was caught off guard by the random discount I got (maybe cause I paid in cash)! Thanks Kim!
The place isn’t anything fancy, and maybe other tailoring places are slightly cheaper, but Kim is so fast at what she does and makes me so comfortable that I am sticking with her! She even offers bottled water and fruit to all of her customers. ^ ^

I have now brought several items to have Kim alter. Suite pants, wool coat, etc. She even had to special order a custom length zipper for my husband’s Cowboy hoodie. She is always very polite, tells you the price up front, and never asks for more than two days to complete (maybe when she had to order a custom zipper). Her prices are fair and always a job well done. Did I mention we are Plus Size/​Big and Tall people? No problem… So glad we found someone close to home!

She’s amazing. I told my daughter to get her dress altered and she finished in a few hours. We couldn’t even tell where she made the adjustments. She offer use food and water and was very polite.

She’s a very friendly and a good tailor. If you want some of the more fitted, you have to be specific with what you want. However, the quality of tailor is pretty good and the prices seem fair.

I brought a very expensive suit here to get tailored/​taken in in the back. The sewing job was horrific… the seam bubbles and does not lay flat at all… it nearly folds over itself when hanging from a hanger (I’ve never seen this before).
When I brought it back in and asked for a refund, she offered to fix it. However, she kept insisting that it simply needed to be pressed and it had nothing to do with the sewing. It had everything to do with the sewing as I had already taken the suit to get pressed.
I’m now out the money I paid her in the first place, and if another tailor can’t fix her work, I will also be out the money I originally paid for the suit itself.

This place does things differently (in a good way).
Just as the other reviews say, the lady was incredibly nice and offered me bottled water and fruit from the fruit bowl. I brought in a short-​sleeve button up shirt to have the sides and length taken in. When marking the adjustments, instead of pinning the sides like other places do, she pulled it in from the back but said she would take it in from the sides, which I felt wasn’t a very accurate way to mark the adjustments. She told me it would be ready in 2 days, which was way sooner than the other places (I took 3 shirts of the same size and brand to 3 tailors. The other 2 told me they would be done in 6 and 7 days). I went in today and the shirt was almost perfect but was a bit tight around my ribs/​armpits when I reach my arms forward. She offered to adjust it in 5min if I wanted to sit and wait, which was great because I didn’t want to have to come back on another day. She took my shirt and gave me a cold bottle of water that she got for me while I was still in the dressing room.
While I waited, a girl came in to pick up a couple of suits for her dad. The worker seemed a little concerned that her dad wouldn’t get to try them on before accepting them. The girl tried to pay with card but she worker explained that she quoted her dad a certain price because he said he would pay cash. The girl didn’t have cash so the worker told her to let her dad try on the suits first and come back to pay later. I’ve never seen a business be this trusting before, especially when the price was $ 100 – 200. It was really nice of her.
She finished my shirt within 5min, even with the interruption of another customer. Now it fits perfectly and the price was very reasonable. Aside from the price and quality of work, I also like the vibe of this place. I will add pictures of things inside the shop to show what I mean

Great owners, great tailor and very reasonable prices — excellent turn around times. I send all of my suits, pants to her.
Anyone can hem pants but this tailor really cares about customer satisfaction. She takes her time in order to gey it right!
The best part is that shes local and does most of the work herself!

I have taken my suit pants here a few times. I really can’t ask for anything more. When you walk in, Kim greets you and asks you what alterations you’d like. You can also try the item on in a change room, so she can be sure about the changes she will make.
You can either come back, or wait while you enjoy some cold water and fruit. She finishes the changes quickly and perfectly, and her prices are very reasonable. I will be back here again, and have no reason to go elsewhere. Thank you Kim!

I took my husband’s pants to Kim because they were too long and needed to be hemmed. We called around 10 a.m. and asked if we could drop them off later on that morning. Kim said of course and gave us directions.
When we arrived, we were warmly greeted and she gave us each a bottle of water. My hubby tried on his pants and she used a safety pin to mark where they needed to be hemmed. She told us they would be done by four.
We called a little before four just to make sure and believe it or not, all five pairs of pants were ready to go. For under $ 50 we basically have five new pairs of pants. What a bargain!
Kim does good work and is super sweet. We will definitely use her again.

The legs on these slacks I own came unstitched and I went there to get it hemmed. She got the job done less than five minutes and they look great! It cost me only $ 10.
She is also super sweet. She offers her customers fruits and water as they wait. I definitely recommend her!

I made an account just to write a review about this place. The ladies that work here are the nicest I’ve ever met. I brought 5 pairs of pants in to get done and 2 days later they were ready and exactly what I asked for (they’ll make sure to fix it for free if you aren’t satisfied).
They might be a little hard to find if you put in their location on your GPS and their sign also isn’t very noticeable but it’s totally worth the stop here. Very nice people with quick and quality service.

Karen W stated, «…the dress has a chiffon overlay.» Probably, the work on your dress was outsourced and they did not think it was important to make it look polished if the seam was covered with chiffon. A bit of a language barrier could be to blame. Nobody’s perfect. When Kim outsourced labor made an error on a job I gave her, I told her to fix it while I waited and not to send it back to the outsourced laborers. She personally did a fine job fixing the boo boo.
S.B. said that he was not satisfied even though Kim did some work for him for free when he complained that she charged too much. Some people just couldn’t be pleased no matter what you do.
I have given Kim a ton of work over the years and she’s always did a fine job. The one time that an error was made, I told her to fix it while I waited. She fixed it in a couple minutes and did a fine job. Yes, she is a bit more expensive than others, but she’s done some real complicated jobs for me on a tight deadline. These were jobs that were turned down by half a dozen other local tailors due to the complexity and tight deadline. There are people who can sew and fix clothes and there are master tailors. Kim is a master tailor. She is the only one in the area who is able to make custom stuff for me, given a pattern. I enjoy designing cool custom clothes and handbags. Kim helps me turn these visions into reality.

My husband waited until the last possible second to take his pants to a tailor to get hemmed before he starts a new job on Monday. We live in Dallas and he took them to a well-​known, highly-​regarded tailor just down the highway from us. To have two pairs of pants hemmed and some material taken in on the sides on a 3^rd pair, it was going to take 9 days. Just to have the two pairs of pants hemmed was going to take 5 days.
I called Kim A Tailor on Saturday morning and explained the situation. «No problem,» she said, and told us she could have two pairs of pants hemmed within the hour. Really? Yes. So we picked up the pants from the tailor in Dallas and headed up to Kim’s. We were greeted by the sweetest lady, very polite and friendly. She promised us again that they would be ready within the hour, and if they were ready sooner, she would call.
Sure enough, 45 minutes later she called to let us know they were ready. Quick pick up and very reasonable price. The pants look great! She even offered us two bottles of water for the drive home. We will absolutely drive up to Richardson in the future for all of our tailoring needs. Fair prices, quick turnaround, and very sweet, thoughtful staff. What more could you possibly ask for?

I was living in Richardson earlier this year and needed some alterations for about five shirts. I called the five tailors nearest me in order to get the prices for the alterations I needed. Kim A Tailor had the cheapest by about $ 2 a shirt.
So, I went there to find cheerful service and good work on my shirts. The lady will also offer you bottled water and fruit.
And, in the end, I was charged $ 2 less per shirt than I was originally quoted.
Also, I referred my girlfriend here to have major alterations to a Halloween costume, and everything turned out perfectly for a very reasonable price.
I now live in Addison, but in the future it will be worth the drive here.

I love this place! It’s not fancy, but they are super friendly and do a great job at a great price. Every item they’ve done has been exactly what I wanted.
The owner is darling. She calls me Baby and whenever I make a request, her go-​to response is «You got it!» The turnaround time is really fast. She gives you a free bottled water and sometimes a free piece of fruit.
What’s not to love? I’ve been going there for two years, and every time I leave, I think, «A good tailor is a woman’s best friend.»
