I usually order the falafel wrap, which is okay. Today I tried the tilapia pita and was pretty disappointed. The fish had no seasoning at all. Just mushy fish inside a mushy pita with some iceberg lettuce, tomato and red onion. The side salad while odd was probably the best thing on my plate. It’s served with a slice of beet and a glob of «potato salad» which is pretty close to mashed potato consistency with no discernible veggies mixed in. There’s no ambiance here. It’s clean, small, relatively fast and you just stand in line and order at the counter. But not somewhere you’d take a date. Think fast food, Greek style.

***food truck review *** We caught the truck at Richardson Food Truck Park and it was really good! We had a lamb gyro and the lamb tacos that were the special of the day. The gyro was delicious, but the tacos were mostly sauce. We will definitely be back to the park and will plan to hit up the actual restaurant soon too!

Best gyros in the area that I have had and being from Chicago this is the best I’ve had in TX. Friendly and fast service and helpings are not on the shy side. My go to for Greek food in the Richardson area.

Right down the street from UTDallas so very convenient lunch spot if you’re a student. Food is great, little on the bland side but original and tastes authentic(but I’ve never been to Greece so what do i know: P) Gyros are around $ 6 – 7 but enough to fill you up for while. I’ve only tried the olympian which has chicken and gyro meat(lamb?) and the falafel one which is very flavorful. Their fries are well made as well, they also have one where they sprinkle feta cheese on it. Wait time is a little longer than expected, but well worth the wait because the food is great. Parking is usually never full and they have some dessert set out that might be worth trying

First visit to this little place. The gyro plate was GREAT! Just the right amount, and extremely tender. Well portioned greek salad, and the pita was just made. Definitely will be back.

I really enjoyed the food here! We started with an appetizer sampler. I was seriously impressed with all of the items. Tiny spinach pie(my favorite), little greek olives, cucumber with tatziki, pita and hummus and fallafal. I am not usually a fan of fallafal but I really like theirs. It’s moister here than I usually experience. Thumbs up! My husband usual dislikes tatziki but he put theirs on everything HAHA! I ordered the day’s special lamb burger pita. WOW! Huge and DElicious! The Gyro platter my husband ordered was gigantic also. Greek salad, rice with a giant pile of Gyro meat and a side of pita and tatziki. Good Service. We just had water with our meal and they offered me a glass or a styrofoam cup. I took the glass. The food was brought to the table and on real dishes, nice! Cute décor. It’s casual but little upscale. It’s very blue and white, of course. :)

This was my first time here. I tried a gyro, I think it was called the Olympian. I really enjoyed it, the people were friendly, the restaurant was clean. Good location right here at Coit and Campbell. I strongly recommend trying it out, you will be pleased.

Yum! I stopped in for lunch yesterday and had a great experience! I ordered the dolmades plate with a greek salad topped with potato salad… so delicious! I also enjoyed a rice pudding… as I was craving something a little sweet. I could seriously eat here every day — so good!

Wanted a gyro and drove all the way up here for lunch. Ended up getting the gyro plate that comes with rice and salad and pita bread. A bit pricey, but it was a ton of food. I was full the rest of the day. Great service. They bring the food out to you and they use actual plates. The tzatziki sauce had a nice non-watery consistency to it, which is always a plus. I was looking for a bit more saffron in my rice, but that’s just me.

I have had a lot of Greek food in my life, and growing up Greek we always had lamb. The lamb gyro here is very fresh and delicious. Clean and nice environment. Highly recommend this place!

I ordered the lamb souvlaki light. You get 2 skewers & it comes with pita bread, tziziki sauce, yellow rice & salad. It was pretty good. I’ll try a gyro next time. Pretty reasonable prices, the lamb was 13.99 and the atmosphere is ok, nothing special. The place seemed really clean as far as I could see(back to the kitchen) and the bathrooms, too.

The food here is so fresh, so green, so healthy. I really like the pita bread that they give as well. I definitely have to come here more often and try out their baklava. Their baklava pieces are huge. You can see the chefs firing it up in the kitchen pretty often. The service here is also nice. Their pricing is acceptable for the nice quality of food.

We have been here COUNTLESS times since our first visit back in 2010, and I have to say that I absolutely LOVE this place now. Fast, fresh Greek food. Zero complaints. I love the crisp, bright salads and the potato salad, love the dolmades, moussaka, gyro, spanikopita, lamb and chicken kabobs, you name it. I’ve eaten at least half of the menu and I actually find myself craving this restaurant now! Not sure what happened at first, but they’ve ironed out any kinks and I now recommend this place for a delicious, fast meal if you’re craving casual Greek food!

I went here for lunch for the first time and there is nothing«little» about the Gyro and side Greek salad I had. The pita bread was fresh and soft. The Gyro meat was hot, had a great flavor and was piled in the pita. I actually got another tzatziki sauce for my sandwich but did not really need it. I got the side Greek salad that was a very generous portion. It came dressed with a small scoop of delicious potato salad and a beet on top. It did not need extra dressing and the salad was excellent. The pricing was good for the amount of food you get. I also really liked that you could see just about everything they were preparing through a clear glass front on the counter. All the veggies looked very fresh. They have a gluten-free pita option that I want to come back and try with my allergic kiddo. I definitely want to come back and try their dinner options, hummus as well as the fries and chicken lemon rice soup. I saw both of these items go to other customers and they were generous portions and looked great, fresh and tasty. My final comment about this restaurant is how clean it was. I mean it looked like they had just built this place it was so clean. The staff was very helpful, friendly and happy. Overall I will be going back soon.

Pretty good for Greek food. my company order from them the other day and it’s amazing what you get for the cost. Definitely looking forward to ordering from them again. The gyro platter is one of the features I really like so is the baked mousaka.

I thought the food flavors were okay; but too expensive for what it was. I was craving Greek and had the Sampler Plate. A few triangles of pita with a dollop each of hummus and tzatiki was disappointing. Chopped up gyro meat? The Styrofoam plates don’t translate either into the $$ they are asking for this meal.

Greek food at this price is terrific & the meats are delicious. The dolmas have ground beef and rice which I like but my date prefers it without meat. Sampler plate is great to share, the salads are fresh & I like their hummus. Any of the menu items are great.

$ 5 gyros on Mondays. It’s good, but I’m not convinced that it’s the best I’ve had. It may be because I thought the pricing of the food here was a tad bit too high for a quick-serve Greek establishment, especially for the gyros on any other day. For sure it’s pricier than Miami Subs and Stoupsy’s of Athens. For $ 10, I also tried the baked moussaka, which is the Greek lasagna made with baked eggplants, mashed potatoes, ground beef, and topped with béchamel sauce. It was good, but I felt that the béchamel sauce was a bit too thick, and even gelatinous, which is not really normal. Shake the plate, and the top béchamel layer shakes too. And they did put too much too. But, the flavor was still good(maybe it’s because I’ve always liked moussaka). It’s not my favorite, and for a fast food Greek establishment, I even think Stoupsy’s version is better, but this one is okay. It comes accompanied with the Greek salad and slices of pita bread with yogurt dipping. It was rather a very big plate. It would be nice if they would be able to just sell the moussaka slices a la carte. But for quick-serve Greek, this place gets the job done — and they have a pretty decent menu that includes other Greek staples. I suppose it’s good if you want to get Greek food fast, without going through the hassle of sitting down in a full-serve Greek restaurant. Just don’t set your expectations too high, because in the end, it’s all fast-food, chain-type of food. At least they know how to do it well — and they should since they’re based out of Palm Harbor, FL, which is a stone throw away from Tarpon Springs, famous for the sponge docks and the Greek town that’s there. UTD students get a free drink. Come early, because this place does get packed during the lunch rush.

Not the best Greek food I’ve had, but for the price it was good. The hummus was not very good — in my opinion. It tasted like canned chickpeas as opposed to using fresh ingredients. The chicken was juicy, the lamb was good and the gyro was tasty. Overall, I was satisfied as were my kids.

I loved this place and frequently visited during my time at UTD. A pleasant surprise to find such a good gyro in a strip mall… Great place for lunch but non descript décor doesn’t make it a dinner date option to me. Unless you’re a college kid, then this might not be so bad, considering budget. Highly recommend!

This is a great fast food Greek place. I don’t eat Greek food very often so I’m not a Greek food expert, but I ordered the tilapia pita wrap and it was very delicious but also very simple. It was just a pita bread wrap with lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and tilapia with a special ranch-like sauce. It wasn’t extraordinary but it was very filling and appetizing.

It’s quite interesting how i pass here so often and just keep on reminding myself that I need to visit. Well today, I finally headed straight here for lunch. I wish i had visited this place earlier. I didn’t get the opportunity to dine in but rather but take away order. That still didn’t affect my overall experience though. This is a relatively small to medium restaurant with good décor and ambiance to match the size. It’s clean and well lighted. It’s kind of operated deli style where you walk in, queue, make an order, pay, get a number and wait for your food. I went there specifically for the lamb burger on pita bread but a man who I suspect is the owner made me change my mind. He was very helpful and courteous. I ended up ordering the chicken Kabob, rice and salad. It’s one of the healthier items and it was very good. The tzatziki sauce was simply amazing and added more flavors to the meal. I would highly recommend the chicken kebab especially for those that want something their taste buds can handle. That is a safe bet. Am sure I’ll be back again soon to meet the lamb burger simply because i generally love lamb. Finally, i give this place all the stars it deserves … for great and efficient service, clean environment, good ambiance, reasonable price, and most importantly for a great tasting healthy and a well portioned lunch meal.

If they’re good enough to cater for the Cowboys, they’re good enough for me. Great casual dining. Not a fast food place as it appears to be, but they won’t keep you waiting forever either. I had the new grilled chicken w/vegetables and rice dish. Loved the chicken and veggies. The rice was a bit on the oily side, but had a nice flavor. It came with complimentary pita slices and tzatziki which was a pleasant surprise. The staff were courteous and able to answer my questions regarding ingredients — this is always a big plus in my book. The dining room is simple and kept very clean and prices are very fair.

I’ve been craving a gyro for some time now. I’ve been to three other restaurants and was disappointed each time. So I decided to through caution to the wind and give this place a try. There isn’t a lot of parking space. The inside was nice and clean and very busy. You order and they give you a number to take to your table, which was cool. After a 25 minute wait… The food finally arrived, sizzling hot. My hunny ordered a gyro with a side of fries. I had the lamb pita burger with fries and my daughter had the mac and cheese. The gyro was delicious. The meat was moist, the pita was soft and warm and the sauce was on point. Not to overpowering. Just the right consistency. My lamb pita burger was good. Once I took a fork to it, it looked like they had taken gyro meat and mashed it into a pattie. For the price paid, I expected a real ground lamb burger. My daughter’s mac and cheese was a horrible according to her. She had one spoonful and pushed her bowl away. There might be a second visit in our future, maybe.

I was a little hesitant to try Little Greek. I grew up in Chicago with great Greek food and lot of the Greek food in Dallas has disappointed me. I also knew this was a chain and generally stay clear of a lot of chains. However, after trying the first time, this has become my go to Greek food place. It’s close to my house, fast and reasonably priced. I like the fast casual setup with ordering at the counter. I have been here several times and have tried several of the options. The hummus is perfect way to start out the meal as its smooth and rich, the grilled pita is great and tastes freshly made. I use to love spanakopita, but recent versions I have had made me not like anymore. However, Little Greek turned it around for me. The inside is cheesy and the outside is crisp. Even after I had some leftovers and heated it up the next day, the crust was still so crisp and buttery. I love the dolmades too with a good amount of group beer. The Greek salad that comes with most the entries and you can get on its own, is good with veggies, feta and potato salad. The potato salad was a little different for me, but it grew on me. Last time I tried to the avgolemono and will get this every time from now on. Its rich, lemony but still light and refreshing. I have also had the lamb skewers, chicken skewers, gyro pita and chicken pita. The Pitas are good sized, for me it often ends up into two meals. Both the gyro and chicken have good flavor with the tzatziki sauce and lettuce and good balance. Love the pitas as well, soft, pillowly and large. The skewers are great too that come with rice and have similar flavoring to those in the pitas. The rice is a great balance to the rich, spiced meats. The gyro is probably my favorite overall, whether on a platter or in a pita. I recommend sampler platter for two people it has a little bit of everything if you aren’t sure what to get. We will definitely be back and will likely at some point use them for catering since we have enjoyed it so much.

As will be noted from my earlier review were there in 2012. This time the restaurant got me to return with a 4 year anniversary special, $ 3.99 for a Gyro, Lamb Burger Pita or Chicken Pita. This was an all day special. Even when there is no special, the prices are most reasonable. The pale was packed when we arrived and just as full when we left plus there were many take out orders. We ordered the Gyro and the Chicken Pita and both were their regular size and not a reduced version for the special. They each were delicious. I added a small Greek salad. Now that is the way to go as an add on salad was only $ 1.99. Service is very good. Go to the counter and order and they will bring the food to your table. Self service on the drinks. The place is clean and there is parking right out front however that may be a challenge at times to a limited number of spaces right in front. Just go down to the end of the mall and there are plenty of spaces. This time I took my camera so I could post some updated photos of the restaurant and the food.

I have always loved Little Greek since they opened it a few years ago. The service is prompt and polite and the orders are always 100% accurate! It’s also immaculate and clean on the inside dining area and the open and closed kitchen. This is the best gyro and greek salad that I have ever had. Very large portions of meat and that side salad is a work of art complete with abundant feta, black olives, a BEETSLICE and a small scoop of their potato salad. And good crisp red onion. The small salad covers a dinner plate and is only $ 1.99 added to any meal! You can get out completely satisfied for around seven dollars and change which is PERFECT because you don’t have to over-eat at a buffet! The clientele is a culturally magic mix of couples on «date night», UTD students and solo diners. They also do a booming business on to-go orders and the catering options offer a plethora of Greek options you could cleverly disguise as your own. It is also thankfully BYOB. I noticed a large group tonight bringing in wine and the expert staff immediately brought out the correct crystal wine glasses. And the large flat screen is turned down so you can enjoy the conversation and modern Greek interior. Bonus points for a well managed and efficient air conditioning system. Despite an open grill with tall flames you never smell smoke. And the alfresco dining is perfect for pleasant evenings. It does not get better than Little Greek!

If it smells like greek food and tastes like greek food… I think it took me a little while to get over the«really-good-Greek-restaurants-are-not-in-strip-malls» thing, but Little Greek is very good. Very, very good. First of all, it is clean. Capital C Clean. You feel clean when the restaurant is clean. It is just a good thing. Little Greek is a hybrid between a formal restaurant and fast food. With their fresh pitas and tasty tzatzki, you would think you were in a restaurant that has been around for YEARS. But, then the fries are delightful and there are huge portions of meat, so you think you are in a fast food restaurant. The dichotomy is weird and awesome. The service is good– not over-the-top and not distant while each plate’s presentation is nice, balanced. I recommend Little Greek(primarily) as a lunch place. Between the two of us who went, we ordered WAY too much food, but that is ok. Too much of Little Greek’s food is a good problem to have.
