Jasmine milk tea(my go-to) was a tad sweet but that might just be personal preference.(I prefer my jasmine tea slightly bitter.) Nice clean place to hang out with your friends. Plenty of tables if you want to do your homework.

This place just seem like an upscale modern Boba Tea places, but it’s actually good! All the teas I have tried has been good and all around refreshing.

I finally went to try this place out. One of my friends posted a pic awhile back and I was like«ooh girl, where did you go?» So it didn’t take me too long to visit. I had the Cha-Pineapple Colada specialty smoothie and it was DELICIOSO!!! I will say that it was a bummer because upon my «check in» from Unilocal,I had the 10% discount pop up and so I was excited and asked the girl taking my order of they honor it and she said yes. I figured it was part of the price but noticed on the receipt the 10% didn’t show up :(. She said she forgot and they ended up writing my name down to give it to me next time I go. I bought 2 regular size specialty smoothies and a cup of fruit for $ 15 and change. Little pricey but I think it’s worth the healthy savory palette that was pleased and my daughter, son and I will definitely be back for new tries! The bathroom and ambiance is very nice and neat, as well as colorful on the inside décor. Wi-fi friendly and friendly staff!

Magic cup is a great place for your drink fix! Whether it be a coffee or boba tea they have quite the selection and what’s even better is that its tastes great! The location is great and the interior itself is very eye appealing. The staff is very courteous and the baristas are quite quick to make your drink. Try it out you won’t be dissapointed!

Update from 2nd visit: we tried magic cup milk tea(cuz of Monday milk tea special for a dollar off) and sweet calamari… Calamari tasted good. However, portion could have been a little more for its price. Food came out hot. We liked the sweet sauce that came with the dish. Their original milk tea was a little water down… I was expecting a richer taste from the milk and stronger tea flavor. My sis got the jasmine milk tea, and she liked it. Boba was chewy, and egg pudding actually had egg taste. So that was a plus. This visit has actually reduced a star. _____ My sister and I were in town and were searching for a boba place and this place came up. I personally loved the aesthetic of the store. It’s very open and has an urban feel to it. It is a great place to stick around to study or chill. We got avocado smoothie and passion blast for drinks, voodoo chicken and kimchi fries for snacks. The drinks were exceptionally good. Avocado smoothie has a very rich avocado flavor to it. Passion Blast is my absolute favorite. The passion seeds they added to the drink gave it a crunchy texture when you consume the drink. They also include different jellies in the drink. Hands down! Their kimchi fries and voodoo chicken aka popcorn chicken are so good. They are not oily nor salty. Chicken is not overly seasoned. It has thin batter but still crispy. For our fries, we added an extra sunny side up egg for 75¢. The fries, sauce(sriracha + mayonnaise, I think), and kimchi were mixed well to the taste. Overall, we think the drinks were great, but the foods were a bit over priced, in our opinion. But we totally RECOMMEND the place. Give it a try!

I’ve only had their CHAMANGO drink here and I love it! Had a sip of their CARAMELLATTE as well and I thought it was pretty good. Friendly workers, smile when I place my order and such. So, overall, loved it! :)

Late review, but meh, why not. I LOVE fruity drinks and all the different types of fruit flavored drinks on their menu had me wanting to try all of them! I settled for the Tropical Paradise and honestly, I was pretty disappointed. It tasted watered down and the fruits tasted stale. It wasn’t anything really special. I came back when I heard about their chamango. My friends recommended it to me and there was a pretty big hype so I had to give it another shot! The chamango was a lot better than the Tropical Paradise but didn’t really satisfy me. It was a little too artificial to be refreshing, although I did enjoy it overall. I don’t think I’ll be coming back for anything unless I’m craving a chamango or if I hear a buzz about anything new.

I’m pretty glad that I was introduced to this place by my brother. Magic cup is a neat little tea house with adorned decorations and a very appealing interior. It’s a nice twist between a modernistic endeavor while still having traditional touches. I tried the Café Sau Da(Ice coffee and condensed milk) and it was pretty good. I’m usually picky when it comes to Vietnamese Iced coffee because many Tea houses tend to make them very sweet. Magic Cup however avoids the excessively sweet aspect and the bubbles had a good texture to them as well. It’s not the best Iced coffee ever, but hey it won’t disappoint so no complaints. I also tried the Kimchi fries. I love Kimchi Fries and the ones at Magic Cup are very tasty. Get them with the Bacon Bits! I also leeched a bite off my brothers Breakfast Burrito and man was it good. I need to come by again and grab a quick breakfast. The Service is also polite and won’t rush you to make an order. The Manager/Owner(?) was very sweet. You can tell she cares about her customers and stands behind her products. I’m really glad I found out about Magic Cup. It’s a great place to study or hangout with friends. I’ll definitely be back to try out some more of their drinks!

Not the creamiest milk tea I’ve ever had, but I’m definitely glad that Magic Cup uses real milk rather than powdered milk! I had just a regular milk tea with boba and egg pudding, and the tea flavor was potent! I wish I didn’t live so far away, because I would have been a regular here, but maybe I’ll stop by when I’m in the Richardson area. There were fun board games available for us to play with! Their Christmas decorations were so cute! We were allowed to vote for the best stocking decoration using our receipt. What a fun way to get the customers involved during the festive season! :)

This interior is pretty neat. It’s fun to look at, and there are board games & comfy chairs making it a great hangout spot. There are little wifi cards with passwords littered throughout the tables. However, if you can’t even make a decent cup of milk tea with bubbles, and it’s lukewarm and watered down, you shouldn’t make boba tea at all. Worst one I’ve ever spent $ 4 on. They may make all the fruity frou-frou drinks just fine, but that’s like if Starbucks fails at brewing coffee, yet makes great frappucinos. If I ever happen to be in the area again, I’ll try the snacks. They look fun & delicious, but work on the basics guys, c’mon.

Maybe I haven’t come enough or maybe I haven’t found the right drink/dish meant for me, but I have yet to see the magic in Magic Cup. The interior is nice and well-kept with a very friendly atmosphere. The baristas were also fine – I didn’t really interact with them, but the service was decent enough for me not to remember anything good or bad. On to the drinks: I ordered a milk tea with lychee. Merp. Meh. It’s like they scooped a spoon of lychee jelly without draining the juice because my milk tea was drowned in lychee juice. Couldn’t taste the milk. Couldn’t taste the tea. Was very disappointed. My boyfriend, and my mom both got fruit juices, and both were unsatisfied with their drinks, claiming it was too sweet or not fresh(I can’t attest to their comments because I don’t really like fruit juice). The next time I came, I ordered a coconut milk tea and kimchi fries, hoping that a different drink would be better. However, the coconut milk was very watered down and too sweet for my liking. The kimchi fries tasted like they had bought a bag of frozen french fries and just tossed it with mayo, kimchi, and sriracha or gochuchang and some okay meat. Not a fan, and it was so expensive for such a cheap taste! I probably shouldn’t have expected anything from a boba shop, to be honest, but for everyone else to know – just head to LA Burger for legit kimchi fries. Or, you know, just anywhere else. I’m still hoping for the day I come back and get a drink I like. It seems that their coffee fares well in the reviews, so maybe next time, Magic Cup!

I wasn’t a huge fan of this place at first because I tried their boba drinks and thought the boba was kind of chewy and hard. Not the best boba in my opinion. BUT what has really drawn me in is their grass jelly. It is soo good! It’s dense and sinks to the bottom unlike a lot of other places. My go-to drink here is the jasmine milk tea with grass jelly! I’ve also tried the Cha-mango and passion fruit blast– both were pretty good. I want to try some of their food options next! I like their location and parking has never been a problem. The place is clean and they decorated for Halloween, which I thought was cute!

I’ve been here twice already, and even though it’s a popular Asian hangout place, obviously for tea(as far as I can see in the pictures), I’ve stuck with the coffee. I’ve seen a few people who order coffee other than me as well. Why? Well, you should see the espresso machine they have — it’s impressive and it would be a shame to see it not go to use! ;) But also because the coffee here has always been perfectly made, much to my surprise. Perfect amount of foam for the cappuccino. Perfect choice of beans, not too dark roasted, and not too light either. Not bitter, and it’s just drinkable all around. The only thing that I could wish for is for them to have real porcelain/glass cups to emulate the perfect experience anyone can get at a coffee house. There’s something not pleasurable about getting coffee in one of those paper cups even if you’re going to be drinking it indoors — because to me, it evokes an imagination that I should be on the go, rushing to some place where I don’t want to be. But since this is Asian…, and because it seems that boba tea gets the bulk of their business, I guess I shouldn’t wish for too much. While they don’t have lunch plates for those who may want to eat during the lunch rush, they do have bites/snacks. I had the Voodoo chicken, which is just pieces of home-fried chicken nuggets, and they were pretty tasty. You pick the spiciness level, 0 to 5. I picked 1 as I was told they just seasoned it with salt and pepper, Asian style, and it had that perfect amount of kick. For people who don’t like spicy food, 1 is safe. Don’t go any higher though! Great friendly service, great coffee. As for the location, it can seem to be a bit out of the way, but considering that there’s a lot of boba tea places around here, and no coffee shops(that isn’t a Starbucks), I think this is actually a great location for them. I’ll definitely return if I’m in the area.

Overall: Great vibe and comfortable environment. Drinks and food need some work, but I think this place can do well in the long run. Drinks/Food: I had a simple green tea with honey, which had a pretty weak tea concentration to it. Wife had a taro milk tea that had a very chalky consistency. Pudding topping in the drinks is super good though. Also ordered a beef noodle soup that ended tasting sweet, not kidding. I pointed it out and guys behind the counter shrugged their shoulders and said it was the recipe. I strongly doubt that. Service: Overall they did very well. Friendly service and helpful assistance. Kitchen was pretty slow to push out the food because they had a new guy in the kitchen. Seating: Generous seating inside with a long high top counter along the window. Outside seating is ample for those who want to smoke or get some fresh air. Wifi/Power: WiFi is brisk at a speed of 11 Mbps down and 1 Mbps. Good amount of power outlets along the walls. Parking: Easy parking in a the lot outside. Atmosphere: These guys did a bang up job with making the vibe warm and inviting. The digital signage for the menu board featured bats flying across the screens in honor of the upcoming Halloween holiday.

Magic Cup is definitely a game changer to the boba world. There’s just so many things I love about this place! Grab a few friends, order the Cha Mango(summer/spring) or Chai latte(winter/fall), share a basket of their finger lickin’ Kim Chi Fries, and play a round or two of Bananagrams. The atmosphere is fun and modern. Service is great with the employees in cute bowtie uniform. The only thing that kept me from giving it 5 stars was the boba. It was a slight tough on the chewy side.

That Cha-Mango Though Chamoy! Chamoy! Mango Smoothie with Chamoy and a Candy Straw! Yeah you can get your teas, coffees, vietnamese coffees, milk teas, and boba almost anywhere to hangout and play some 13 cards with your buddies, check out guys while you pretend to be living an awesome life with your friends. But why not do it drinking the best combination of mango goodness combined with real chunks of mango thru a candy straw made of tamarind Mexican straw? Sweet, salty, tangy, sour all at once… Just like those guys to the table on the left

Yum, yum, yum, yum. Is it just me or does this particular boba shop remind me of Houston for some reason? Their jasmine milk tea was fresh and their boba was chewy, in a good way. The«magic puffs» which are beignets are very delicious, order these and grab a side of honey from the condiments, trust me you’ll love it. The staff is nice and patient(especially if it was your first time there like me). The chairs were all super comfy, there’s a patio, and make sure you grab a stamp card!

Being a boba aficionado, I had to try this place out since it’s right next to my house. I love the look of the place. It’s open and bright, and has a cute little patio. I also really like that a lot of their menu items contain fresh fruit. I ordered the chamango and the strawberry peach iced tea. The chamango was just alright for me. It’s a mango smoothie, with some mango chunks and chamoy swirled in. It also comes with a straw wrapped in tamarind candy, which made the presentation really impressive. I think they overdid it on the chamoy for me, because my drink was just plain salty. I could only drink about ¼ before I had to give up. I enjoyed the tamarind candy straw though. The iced tea was also ok. I enjoyed the fresh fruit inside, but the tea itself had a very artificial peachy flavor to it. I wish that they had just taken regular sweet tea and added fruit so that it would taste more natural. To be honest, I was a little disappointed. maybe I’ll have better luck next time. I do want to try some of their boba drinks.

It’s a great and convenient location for me. The cha-mango is my favorite and probably the only thing I ever get here. If you like the Mexican mangonada then you’ll like their cha-mango drink. I usually ask for extra chamoy bc it’s the bomb. The voodoo chicken aka popcorn chicken is good but a little pricey, and they give you very little for it. This is a cute and clean place to hang out with friends and play Uno. Overall, I’m here for the cha-mango!
