Don’t call them if you are asking a question the person wasn’t able to help me with a simple question because I didn’t make an appointment. Guess they do not want a new customer.

I was not happy with my previous optometrist, so I decided to look for another place. Somehow, one of my coworkers told me about Dr. Nguyen at Perception Eyecare and I’m sure glad that I decided to come here.
The office is small, but quaint. The place is very clean, staff welcoming and friendly, and they have pretty new looking technology/​machines. They also don’t use that dang eye puff machine, but another machine that is way quicker and more comfortable. Woohoo!!! I don’t think anybody enjoys sitting through the air puffs…
Dr.Nguyen is competent, friendly, and cute! ^ ^ She took the time to ask me questions about my contacts, eyes, and everyday eye routine. She also explained about the retina pictures I had opted to take. Thanks doctor! Not everybody takes the time to explain and show what tests results mean, but she does!
I think her fees were reasonable, definitely better than the other place I went to.
Happy with my first time visit. Will be back in the future if I need anything else taken care of.

Dr. Nguyen Is top notch. She’s thorough, doesn’t rush, personable and is quite an attractive woman as well!

My experience at Perception Eyecare was fantastic. I felt welcomed from the moment I walked in the door, and the staff was very friendly. I felt comfortable, though a little cramped for the tiny office location. But don’t sweat that – they more than make up for it in service.
When I got called back to start my annual exam, I met Andy, the tech, and a new trainee. Andy had a great attitude and clearly takes interest in patients. I enjoyed talking with him – and even got a recommendation on a new restaurant to try out. He did a great job at explaining each step of what we were doing, and they don’t use that dang blasted air puff machine!
After we got done there, I met Dr. Nguyen. The things the other reviewers said about her are very true – she’s patient and thorough. She even noticed some things my previous eye doctor never brought up. I felt free to ask her questions and she was easy to talk to.
I loved coming here and I definitely plan on returning. The staff at Perception understands the value of customer service, and they’re killing it!

I’ve been a patient for 2 years and am very satisfied. I recommend Dr. Nguyen to all of my friends looking for an optometrist. Dr. Nguyen is smart, sincere, and personable. You will feel very welcome and comfortable in this office. The doctor and staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Their equipment seems to be state of the art. It’s a convenient location. You can change and set appointments via email. An overall good experience.

This is our second year as patients here. LOVE IT! Very friendly and prompt appointments! Who ever heard of such a thing? I love that the doctor is very personable and really has a gift of explaining all of the high tech tests and showing you the results of each… and making it sound fascinating! My children feel comfortable here as well! Totally recommend Perception Eycare to anyone! You will not be disappointed!

Literally love this lady. Dr. Nguyen is an angel! She is very diligent with her patients and she really cares for them. I’ve had her for the past 2 – 3 yrs and I am always satisfied with her. She gives free samples of lenses to make sure you feel comfortable on them before you order them and she always has really great coupons to give out!
Oh and she’s pretty lol. Young, pretty, nice, and smart! Perfect optometrist! I highly recommend her!

I saw Dr. Nguyen for my annual eye exam. She was very thorough. I didn’t have to get my eyes dilated. I did the optos, which is a retina camara. Dr. Nguyen was kind enough to explain to me how healthy the back of my eyes are and what I was actually looking at when she showed me the photos They also don’t have that puff of air machine they have another technique that is way quicker. Doctor and staff are welcoming, professional, and very nice. Highly recommend!

Dr. Nguyen is is very kind. She gives a very thorough eye exam and does not rush you out the door as many Doctor’s do today. She addressed all of my vision concerns. Lorena is very professional and courteous. This is not a typical Optometrist office. It is an exceptional one. I highly recommend visiting Dr. Nguyen for your eye care .

Went in for my yearly eye exam today. What a great experience, Dr. Nguyen was helpful as always! Always ready to answer any and all questions I have. She takes her time, asks questions, and always makes sure I walk out of there seeing perfectly. Thanks Dr. Nguyen!!!

So I went to have my eyes check up. This cute tiny office is located in Super Target and has a separate entrance. Dr. Nguyen is so kind and professional, her staffs are very nice to customers and the equipments are sophisticated. Will definitely come back for next year eye exam!

My eyes have been a bit trickier than it used to be, due to my astigmatism. My last optometrist didn’t get it quite right, but Dr. Kim did a great job correcting my vision. Her staff was also very helpful when I needed my prescription emailed to me. Highly recommended!

Greetings fellow Unilocal’ers! My wife and I have both had our annual exams here this year, and I am happy to say, I see us coming back here again and again for our Optometric heath needs.
To start, it was great to have an appointment and to be seen on time… no stacking going on here. We had no problems keeping the rest of our day’s schedule.
I saw a stand-​in Dr on Monday, as Dr Kim was out of the office. He treated me as though I was a long standing and valued patient/​customer. His manner, his informative interaction, it was all of what I would expect from the primary Dr of the establishment.
My wife saw Dr Kim on Thursday and really enjoyed her vision. Dr Kim is a warm service provider, something you don’t encounter as much as we should these days. She was very informative, and extended the kind of manner that you hope for in a Dr. The kind that garners trust, and a long term relationship.
Her technician mentioned the Optimap (which all Optometrists do offer) but didn’t do the hard selling that I’ve sometimes encountered.
I believe that 5 stars are certainly earned here. The business is situated with its own entrance, in front of the Target Supercenter on Coit near Campbell. It’s not the fanciest place, but its totally clean and comfortable. And once again, because they operate principally by appointment, it’s not at all crowded.
They do offer walkin service, but they go right to the schedule and let you know how long your wait will be… indicating to me, that they don’t simply try to squeeze more patients in… I really like their business practices.
Oh and last but not least, they are expedient about looking up your insurance and determining any cost coverage’s you have available to you.

Dr. Kim is the best. She is genuinely caring for all her patients. My mom, my brothers and I always come to her when we need eye check up. The process is fast and the office is clean and neat. I have chronic dried eyes problem and she helped me with that. I appreciate your care, Dr. Kim. Keep up the excellent work!
