After reading the reviews I felt that someone should contribute something nice. It’s frequent that unhappy renters post but it seems happy residents don’t often contribute. My experience could not be more different from the reviewers here. Pete has been incredibly prompt and professional in addressing maintenance concerns with the property. As an older home, it does have issues from time to time, but in almost all cases they have fixed them within 24 hours of my report. They’ve even gone so far as to completely replace the AC(inside and out) and garage door openers with new units rather than attempt piecemeal repairs. I’ve also benefited from lovely new stainless steel appliances whenever an older appliance has failed(I’m hoping the refrigerator fails soon too, lol). They’ve never argued on repairs and have generally done the job correctly on the first visit.

DONOTRENTFROMTHISCOMPANY! Save yourself a lot of headaches and just don’t do it. Pete is incredibly condescending and rude and he literally said to me «I know more than you do». Just like all the other reviews say he tries to bully you and makes excuses for EVERYTHING and tries to get out of not fixing things or puts a bandaid on it until it breaks again. My apartment was not properly cleaned before I moved in, reeked of smoke, and the back door didn’t have a working door handle or lock. The bathroom ceiling is crumbling and falling down and his response is it’s an old apartment… I asked him before I moved in if he was going to do a walk through with the previous tenant to make sure the apartment was ready for me to move in BEFORE I moved in. He didn’t do the walk through until I got the keys. He always has to have the last word and be right, but he’ll make you feel like you are the one who is always right. I mean I’m the tenant living here dealing with this stuff, but maybe not. JUSTDON’T DOIT! I wanted to move out the week I moved in. I consulted a lawyer to see if there was anyway I could get out. I think I’m stuck and will be contacting the owner, if they care, to let them know how incredibly unprofessional he is.

Rented for two years. Renting from Todora Management Company was a horrible experience. Any repairs we needed were usually disputed and when they were resolved, the help that usually came was poor and their work reflected it. Pete Todora will try to bully you at first, and then nickel and dime you when it comes to spending any money to make your renting experience any better. Absolute nightmare for two years.

Property Owners and Tenants BEWARE! Property owners should look elsewhere before employing Todora Management Company because its owner, Pete Todora, does not mind exposing his clients to legal liability(see photographs for illustration). Todora Management Company exemplifies unprofessionalism and has an utter disregard for the law. I had the unfortunate luck to lease an condominium unit from a client of Todora Management Company. The nightmare started when I first moved in to the unit but worsened when it was time for me to move out. Pete Todora routinely contacted me(via incessant emails and phone calls) urging me to move out before my lease was set to expire. When I refused he purported to rent the unit to some other tenant. Pete thought it was best to notify me that he was letting the other tenant move in during my tenancy so that I would not be «surprised» to see the other tenant’s things in the apartment DURINGMYTENANCY. I kindly reminded Pete that it was a violation of Texas law to permit his client’s new tenant to move his things or otherwise have access to the apartment during my tenancy. Only then did he offer to pay me to vacate the premises before my lease expired. Do yourselves a favor and stay away from this enterprise.
