I found this place out when i made a stop to the gas station next door and i found out it was not in business. So i was hungry and i decided to try this little shop, and as a lover of mediterranean food i couldnt resist trying something from the menu. I had to wait like 15 minutes but the wait was worth it: the shawarma sandwich which was yumny and fresh and pita bread was cheap. Since i gor a little bit unpacient the manager noticed and he was very attentive and understandable that he offered me a piece baklva for free. Im a big fan of this place!

I love this place. Everything is so fresh. They make bread in front of you after you order. Service could be faster but then again you can’t ask for everything. I would like for them to have shawarma so I don’t have to wait for the meat to be done.

I have been here a few times already and always fresh food and very tasty. They always ask how everything was which is a good sign that they take pride in serving quality. The date filled cookies are great as well.

Let me start off by saying I have been a local of this area all my life. I have been to all competitors in the surrounding area so I know what a good Mediterranean chicken sandwich should taste like. When this place first opened, I was skeptical at first bc of the fierce competition in the surrounding areas. (Sababas is walking distance from Zdar). The store is nice and clean, the kitchen is towards the back. The kitchen looked nice and clean. The owner is very nice and has good recommendations. I ordered the chicken sandwich. You can add garlic & pickles, veggies, or baba ganoush to fill your sandwich with. I opted for the garlic & pickles with my chicken sandwich. The size of the sandwich is fairly generous (compared to Afrahs and Sababas). Now for the review of the sandwich itself. The bread was good, the sandwich itself was very moist and not dry, which is important when it comes to these Mediterranean sandwiches. The chicken in the sandwich was nice and soft. The only thing that needs to be worked on majorly is the flavor of the chicken. The chicken in my sandwich tasted very bland and lacked the traditional Mediterranean chicken flavor. It almost tasted as if the chicken had a fajita seasoning taste. Please chef if you’re reading this, make an adjustment to the flavor and seasoning of the chicken you put in these sandwiches. Besides the flavor of the chicken, the sandwich itself was fairly good. Nothing epic, no WOW factor. Just plain and simple. I give this establishment a solid 3 stars. Zdar definitely has the potential to become 4 stars and I hope to give it 4 stars when I come back if they make the proper adjustments. Thank you!

Authentic Turkish food… insane flavor. Recommend the beef and chicken sandwiches and the turkish pizza. The shawarma pizza is also good.

A friend introduced me to this place, and I must say I was really impressed! You would not expect such great food just by looking at it from the outside, but looks can be deceiving. The inside is very clean, well organized, and the owners are really nice!
The quality of the food is unlike any other middle eastern restaurant that I’ve been to. I had the Chicken Kebab sandwich along with a Safeha Pie as an appetizer. They make their bread from scratch which just added to the deliciousness. I’m really looking forward to coming back and trying some of their other menu items.

Great place! Very clean market and great food as well. I ordered the Turkish Lahm Ajeen and Cheese Fatayer and they were both really good! Everything was made fresh right in front of me which was pretty awesome too! I also had the Walnut Baklava and it was the perfect amount of crunchiness and sweetness in each bite! Very nice people and a clean place. Will be getting lunch from there more often!

Delicious beef kebab sandwiches! Great customer service, very nice owner, went in their got my food and I was out really quick with a delicious meal! Definitely recommend the place for kebab.
