I love this place. The feel, the look, the food, it’s all fantastic if you’re in the market for a home-cooked feel comfort meal. The menu has plenty of options for anyone’s preference. It’s a must have for a country breakfast or try the meatloaf for dinner.

I love this place! The owner is very committed to customer service. The food is always excellent. The staff is kind, attentive and helpful. My favorite sandwich is The Chicken on the Run! Whoever put that one together knows good food!

Quaint Wisconsin cabin eatery with delicious breakfast and fish frys. 4.5 stars Food: 4.5, Atmosphere: 4.5, Service: 4 Cost to worth it rating: 3(in line with local pricing) Return worthiness: yes Eve award: best cranberry pancakes Highlights: — Pancakes: big and fluffy. They had an option to add cranberry and since it was over the holidays and I’d never had that before, I went for it. One of the best I’ve had. — Bacon: thick and oh so tasty — Fish fry: really enjoyed their version which came in thick chunks lightly fried. Not greasy and fresh, flaky, and tender white fish. Great with just a few squeezes of lemon. Fun to have potato pancakes and apple sauce as a side with it. — Clam chowder: more creamy than fishy and not too many potatoes as filler — Cheese curds: large bowl full of delicately fried curds to keep the natural ooey gooeyness in — Menu: full list of American delights for everyone — Bread: big loaf with a knife sticking in it on a cutting board — Atmosphere: dark, woodsy, cabiny, and cozy with a handwritten specials and pie menu up front. Feels Wisconsiny to me. Lowlights: — Need cups of soup: only came in bowls — Pie: expected it to be awesome homemade but we didn’t quite care for it Visited this place twice in a few day visit to my sister and I’ll be back next time.

Good burgers, but they’re served without lettuce or tomato(which seemed odd to me). It’s a little noisy, but has a cute ambiance. Prices are reasonable and it seems like the place is favored by the local residents. I would go back again and I want to try the blueberry pancakes!
