Jack in the Box

I’m I the only one who wonders why the Sourdough Jack looks nothing in person like it does in commercials? I’d been more than a decade since I’ve stepped foot in a Jack N the Box, but I was starving and it was near my hotel. I walked in and was greeted by friendly staff and the burger came out in minutes. Unfortunately, the tasty (looking), juicy, inviting crispy bacon and toasty bun they expose on TV wasn’t what came on the tray. This burger (as I expected) was dry as a cookie, the bacon came microwaved, the cheese wasn’t melted and flavor was non-​existent.
As you guessed I’m not a big fast food junkie (well not at this chain) and my attempt to resurface for a quick meal rated below average, but for those trying to save money and don’t mind low grade fast food, this is your spot. In life you get what you pay for, as the flavor and quality rivals the price here.

As far as Jack in the Box goes, this is a very good one. Friendly customer service, a tad slow, but well worth the wait.
We ordered our burgers without the bun, since we’ve been trying to stay away from carbs. This wasn’t a problem at all. They put the burgers in a nice little plastic bowl and used enough lettuce that we were able to pick them up and eat them. I had a jumbo jack with cheese and my husband had a bacon ultimate cheeseburger– they were very good.
We will definitely be coming back, since lately our go-​to, Carl’s Jr., has been leaving much to be desired in the quality department. We’ve tried the Jack in the box on Burden in Pasco, and it’s pretty awful. Thank goodness this place has their stuff together.

Food was hot and as ordered. Nice…

just had their chocolate shake… dont even think of ordering it… you cant even taste any chocolate on it… its just pure sugar… I just had a sip of it and it went strait to the trash can… I think if I finished it I wil have diabetis… its too sweet… no flavor… just sweet. I still love the fast food though for their fries and cheap tacos.

Yeah, I don’t normally eat fast food, but on major orthodontic adjustment days I’m trying to maximize my calorie-​to-​mastication ratio, so fast food it is. Why do I pick Jack in the Box? In part because it’s on the way back to the home/​office, but mainly cuz they’ve got curly fries and some awesome honey mustard. I also like that they serve breakfast all day, because it’s a spectacular meal that should not be limited by some corporate clock. Have those CEOs ever seen Falling Down?
