McCurley Integrity Honda

Yakima location was not helpful when we where ready to buy. No pilots to test drive, we would have to order a vehicle, and they said we would have to wait for 2 months this for a vehicle. Decided to go to Mccurley. From start to finish our sales rep was there for us. No pressure and always answered our questions. Purchased our Honda Pilot from Mccurley and been extremely happy before, during and after the sale process.

Purchased a 2016 CR-​V with the help of Sadik Reka. Sadik is the best! He was straightforward and made sure we were getting the right car. This is the second Honda (2011 Pilot) we’ve purchased with Sadik’s help and we are very happy with both cars and will visit McCurley Honda first when it’s time for our next purchase.

TERRIBLE INITIAL EXPERIENCE — 1 STAR
Back in 2014 I purchased a used vehicle from McCurley and within a few days after purchasing it my brakes were squealing significantly. Considering new brakes were part of my conditions in buying the car I was pretty disappointed that they wouldn’t «fix» the brakes as they were aftermarket parts but were safe and still at 90% wear. Unfortunately I walked away disappointed and for nearly 2 years have settled with my squeaky brakes (I know squeaky brakes are common but I had high expectations from this dealer).
UPDATE 1 ½ YEARS LATER — 5 STARS!!!
As you can see from my initial review I was sorely disappointed with the experience I had after I had purchased a used vehicle from McCurley. However, I recently received a call from the dealer as they were purchasing select used cars. I mentioned my disappointment with the dealer and that I would prefer they remove my contact info from their records. Of course she asked why and I told her my experience. She apologized and promised me that she would ensure the Service Manager was informed of this experience and that she would follow up with me.
TO MY SURPRISE… I received a call from the service manager a few days later and he was extremely disappointed with the manner in which I had been handled and said he personally would oversee an inspection and review of my car (Now nearly 2 years later). I brought my vehicle in a few days later with the expectation that they would just give me a quote to fix what had concerned me initially.
After dropping it off, I could not have imagined what they ended up doing… they offered to pay for a full brake job, new pads and rotors for a vehicle they had sold me nearly 2 years earlier!!! What a way to turn a poor experience into a positive one with such a simple investment… what was probably $ 150 for them saved me nearly $ 400.
I am converted to McCurley from now on. They handled their mistake with grace, accountability, and loyalty to me and I am now an advocate for their service department.

If I could give this dealer zero stars, I would. I’ve had 3 experiences with McCurley Honda and all three have been terrible. Fool me once, shame on you, but apparently, fool me three times, shame on me.
The first time was back in 2013… I went in to look at an Acura TL, which is a step up from my Acura TSX. The salesman that I worked with was SO pushy and tried to take advantage of the fact that I am a young, female (19 at the time) and almost coaxed me into buying my car. He had me fill out paperwork to get an appraisal on my car to see how much it was worth, and the paperwork included a part for my SSN, which he ran to find out my credit score. I did NOT authorize this and now I get to look at it on my credit report until it clears.
The second time was a service failure in 2014… I brought my car (Acura TSX) into McCurley Honda to get a standard oil change and some other small services. After the repairs were done, when I got home, I noticed a HUGE scratch mark on the hood of the car. I knew they washed my car after the service but my car is white and the mark was definitely noticeable. I had to drive all the way back and have them buff out the scratch and the service manager pretended like it was no big deal at all. This must happen to all their customers. He offered to detail my car for free, but after having that experience, there was no way I was going to take my car back to them.
The latest time was over the weekend/​today (2÷11÷16). My sister (not the brightest bulb) and parents (non-​English speaking) went in to purchase a car for my sister. Long story short, they purchased the vehicle, signed a contract to finance $ 11,400 on the vehicle, brought it home over the weekend and today, 2/​11, we received an adverse action notice in the mail from one of the banks denying her loan request due to her short credit history… but that wasn’t the part that pissed us off, it was the fact that the supposed loan amount we were asking for was nearly $ 17,000! WHAT! Our contract clearly stated the amount to be financed was $ 11,400. I immediately called the Finance guy that we worked with there (Javier Castro) and he mentioned something about a warranty but said that he couldn’t talk to me about it. I had to drive my sister and dad back to the dealer to talk to him in person and apparently, it is their company policy to submit loan requests well over the contracted finance amount «for customers that get the warranty». We did not sign any paperwork agreeing to any warranty. I’ve purchased 8 vehicles from other car dealers and have not had this experience at any of those dealers so I know this is not common practice. I’m not sure what kind of scam this guy was trying to pull, but I called the bank that approved to finance our loan and now have to wait up to 10 days before they get all the paperwork processed and can tell us what the actual loan amount is. I’m not sure what kind of business McCurley Honda is running, but that should not be acceptable business practices for any business!

I am very satisfied with my visit and purchase with Mccurley Honda. Sadik was a lot of help with helping me find the right car for me. He was never pushy. He asked my price range and didn’t try to sell me anything out of my range which to me was a big deal since I been to other places and they show me things well over my price range and it ends up being a waste of time. Sadik took car of me and got me in a very nice used car in my price range. And I love my car. Highly reccomend.

The sales experience is great. Efrain sold us a 2015 CRV and let us know we should call him if the car even had a rattle. It did rattle quit badly so we called Efrain and left about 4 voicemails over the course of a week and never got a return phone call. The sales are all that matter and the service beyond that point is non existent.

Curt Watson introduced himself. … asked how I was doing… and the rest was history! He let me explain why I was looking for a different car and brought me the car i wanted to test drive. When i was disappointed with what i thought i wanted he started building a list of candidates based on what i wanted, needed, and factored in my financial details. I fell in love with the first car on his list! It satisfied everything i wanted in a newer car, and fit my budget perfectly! I’ve had my 2009 Honda CRV just over a month now, and it’s the best car I’ve ever had. Curt was Courtious, professional, and friendly. I’ve bought a few cars, but until this purchase, have never had such a pleasant car buying experience! I know my Honda will last a long time, but i will definitely come back, and ask for Curt Watson when i am ready to buy my next car!

Completely unsatisfied with McCurley Honda. All in all I would rate McCurley five stars except Honda. In the past I have bought 5 cars from McCurley and have completely satisfied. It has been a month now since I bought two new Honda CR-V’s. One of them has several paint defects on the drivers side which show up real good in the sun. When showing Honda management the problem I got responses I wasn’t very happy with. Then I was told I would have to wait for a Honda Rep to make a decision so they could be compensated for what needed to be done. They said they would keep updated and call me when the representative came around. It has been over three weeks and never got called until I call them and left a voice message. I finally met with Honda Representative who informed me that the driver side of the car needs to be completely repainted. He told me that the service would call me that day or no later than the next day with arrangements to bring my car in and get a loaner. That was two days ago and still haven’t gotten a call. They have no customer relation skills whatsoever after you bought a vehicle. Buy a Honda else where.
The only person there that gets a five star rating from is the sales person, Matt Frankenfield.

The best sales person in the northwest Curt Watson. He is personable, knowledgeable, and a very hard worker for his customer. I recommend to everyone to call Curt for help when buying a used or new vehicle.

Terrible experience with a customer service representative named Kimberly! She is rude and mean! First phone call, she was sweet and nice, but the next time, she was rude and extremely vulgar to me. Any place that allows their employees to use vulgar language is beyond me. I will take my business elsewhere!

Loved our experience here! Matt took great care of us. He never once seemed pushy with us and seemed to genuinely care that we were getting what we wanted! Plus, I love my new car! I would recommend him to anyone looking to buy a car! Thank You Bill McCurley Honda!

I visited this dealership a few days ago and enjoyed the experience. The atmosphere was welcoming and so were the employees I interacted with. I didn’t feel pressured purchasing a car and was respected in making my decision. Sadik, my salesman was very knowledgeable, patient and helpful. I enjoyed working with him and helping me find something I can work with financially and to my liking. Loved his customer service. Also, Marisal, the gal who took me on my test drive was helpful, and personable. Friendly staff. I enjoyed being tended to and taken care of asap. Thank you for offering me not only water… but coffee and tea, both times I visited! ;-)

Today I brought my car into McCurley Integrity Honda’s service department to have a wheel noise fixed on my 2013 Honda Civic EX-​L and had what I can only describe as the worst customer service experience of my life. From the minute I walked in I was treated rudely by the staff at the desks. Every statement they made to me, from the «What would you like us to do about that» when I told them about the issue my car was having to the final «I’m sure you won’t hesitate to let me know if the issue isn’t gone» before I left were passive-​aggressive and hostile. I didn’t raise my voice once, yet one of the younger staff members felt it necessary to tell me I was being too loud. As I walked away from the desk to the waiting room they trash-​talked me. They misrepresented what I said to the technician, which thankfully I overheard in time to correct. I talked to the service manager about what happened and he was dismissive of the experience, making excuses and not treating the situation with any kind of seriousness.
The service department here gives Honda a bad name. The have a lot to learn about how to treat customers. I was prepared to spend at least $ 100 on some accessories (Civic Keychain, a few shirts, a cup, and a hat) but chose to buy them online instead because of this experience. The staff here made me sorry that I bought a Honda.

Do not take your car here for service. They will try and add extras you do not need just to make a buck. My retired mother took her honda here to get the oil changed and they tried to convince her that she needed new tires (which she had just gotten tires this year). Luckily she called my father before buying new tires and the took the car to Les Schwab who looked at the tires and said that they had many more years to go before needing new tires.
In the past I had bought a car from this place when I was right out of college and they pretty much ripped me off on the price. Stay away from this place. This place should be called McCurley NO Integrity Honda.

I love these people! They really took great care of me. I drove all the way from Seattle because I wanted a certain 2013 accord in a primary color and was having trouble finding it in Seattle. I guess most people want a neutral colored car these days, but not me. I ended up with a brand new 2014 accord instead they made me such a good deal and took such good care of me. They even returned my insurance rental car for me! I really had no intention of buying that day, I’m telling you they will go the extra mile to sell you a car at a fair price. Totally worth the drive from Seattle, these people want your business and will prove it to you! Didn’t hurt to be the only customer in the dealership on a playoff Sunday, but hey-​lucky break for me!

I absolutely love McCurley Honda! What an experience it was buying a car from them. Our sales consultant was Sadik Reka. He was quite amazing. So easy to work with and might I add he is quite the character. We told Sadik what we wanted and I feel he worked his butt off to make everything happen. McCurley and Sadik really went above and beyond to provide great service! We already know that Hondas are great but they sure do have the right people backing them. I highly recommend McCurley Integrity Honda, ask for Sadik.

Does anyone need a unbiased and realistic review of how bad this dealership is? you don’t have to listen to me or anyone online — Just try calling in to get your car serviced. If that doesn’t do it for you then walk in trying to consider a Honda product. Aside from a few new people. Be prepared to be treated like they are doing you a favor and be prepared either pay what they are asking for (usually MSRP) and if you get them to match another dealer then be prepared to be treated like dirt by their «managers».
Honda once represented 100% of my household vehicles for over 20 years when we lived in California. Then we move to Richland and get this gem of a dealer. Now I am personally down to my last Honda.
While I don’t have time to document the entire timeline of my service experience and trying to buy any car from this dealer I do have some recent highlights; Their online price quote on the current slow selling civic model was the MSRP, when I questioned that I got an email back saying «we can do better!»? I do not care for getting the best deal but come on MSRP? you kidding me! I was quoted almost $ 2000 less by a dealership 160 miles away! no thanks… I got another brand’s car in same bracket and resale value.
I can see where their attitude comes from though… It’s the only Honda dealership in this area and Honda name brings in the customers. Out of 5 Honda’s left in our family circle I have never heard anyone say they got their car from McCurley or have their car serviced by them because of their great customer service!

Called service department to ask about a warranty question. The guy put me on hold for 20 minutes just to say he didn’t have time to look into the issue I was having. I’m pretty sure I’ll never take my car for service there willingly.
