I took my sister here to celebrate her birthday, and both of us left feeling disappointed. Their décor is charming, and their menu has all the right stuff, but they seem to cut corners when it comes to food, leaving you wanting more. I ordered the Smoked Turkey Sandwhich which is described in the menu as «Sun dried tomatoes, cream cheese and green onions on toasted bread, served with fruit, cheese, crackers, a cup of soup and dessert.» The menu should have stated that it’s sun-dried tomatoe flavored cream cheese. I opened by sandwhich after the first bite and realized it was a slice of packaged deli meat, and flavored cream cheese. Nothing more. The soup was gritty and semi-cold — not quite what I expected on a cold January day. And as for the fruit/cheese/crackers, we got a slice of orange, 2 triscuit looking crackers with a small slice of cheese on each. Service was another complaint we had. There was 1 girl working, and while that is certainly enough people as it’s a small restaurant, she wasn’t friendly or welcoming. This place has the potential to be a great tea house — but they need to spend a little more to have the real deal.

SOCUTEINSIDE! They have a huge selection of teas, and cute gifts in their gift shop. Love the potato soup!
