L’Occitane

Love, love, love, L’occitane. So it’s a little pricey but I live for the hand cream. Hair care, skin care, perfumes and a few lip products are offered. Nice place to pick up a gift.
This store was quaint, beautiful, well organized and buoyed my spirits when I heard random French pop playing. I love the 360 sensory experience.
So I walked in and was helped by Alexander. He was friendly, personable, and made me feel comfortable. I’m one of those who takes my time smelling and trying everything, and I love that he made this store a welcoming environment.
So the beauty of the store is that you can try before you buy. I love the hand cream, almond oil, and cherry blossom everything, so I’m definitely drinking the Kool Aid.
The soaps and hand creams make great little gifts, and I’m usually an online shopper, but when you go into a store and are treated so well, this location converted me into an in person shopper. Ahh. The power of great customer service!
When you check out they usually ask for personal info. Not sure if it’s mandatory or not.

Have been using L’Occitane for bath and body care since I was 18. Now L’Occitane has become one of my life necessities. Their shea butter is the best hand cream I’ve ever seen, very rich and hydrating with fast absorption and not greasy at all. In addition to the signature products, they also keep releasing new lines such as verbena, rose and seasonal limited time hand cream. So far I have collected 37 different scents.
Came here to get shampoo and bath gel refills. It was a small colorful place decorated with flowers, leaves and wood shelves loaded with parfum sprays and skin cares. The décor reflected their natural skin care philosophy. Atmosphere was warm and inviting. Area also set up for treatments and facials, though it was right in full view of other customers. Staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. She came to offer assistance and recommended new items. There were testers for you to try.

Clean store, attentive and friendly staff. I love it here!

My friend and really fantastic L’Occitane employee, Marco, works at this location and thanks to him I’ve started using a few L’Occitane products. The thing I love best about L’Occitane is that all of the employees, especially Marco, have expert knowledge in how the products are made, where the ingredients come from, what works for your skin, etc… Even though it’s a worldwide chain store their products are high-​quality and environmentally friendly.
The verbena cooling hand gel is my favorite right now during warm days. Their lavender soap, cherry blossom eau de toilette and almond apple velvet face fluid are other favorites. They now have makeup! My sister has the Pivoine Flora Lip Shine Peche which goes on glossy but as it sets gets a really pretty pink color to it — I want to buy one of my own.
L’Occitane is a small store between Aveda and Papyrus down near the Macy’s end of the mall.
