The food was ok but it took 145 mins just for 3 people and wasn’t even crowded and food was cold

Came in while traveling on Christmas Day – only restaurant open around. They had a special Christmas menu. Seated right away. Waitress (Tiffany) attentive and friendly. Food all cooked perfectly – pot roast with mashed potatoes, fish and chips, chicken bacon sandwich. A wonderful experience.

Friendly service. Waitress was very attentive. Manager also very friendly and attentive. Food was fast and was really good. Ordered veggie burgers and appetizers. Restrooms clean as well. Definitely a good place to grab a quick bite to eat.

The food and service was great. My only complaint is that during the day it was WAY too hot in there. I was sweating, and I dont get sweaty and hot easily at all, so that says a lot. It felt especially crappy when eating a hot meal, and Im also concerned for the cooking staff. i will have to try another area dennys next time.

Recently visited on our way to Tybee Island. Service was great, we were seated quickly and the waitress was extremely nice. Tables and restrooms were clean. However, the food took 30+ minutes to arrive. There were about 5 more tables without food also. Although the food took too long to be served, I rate my pot roast a ⁷⁄₁₀ and the mashed potatoes were perfection. I also recommend the apple pie with ice cream on top. DELICIOUS.

Brought our family in for lunch, empty tables but none were clean. Had to ask for menues when seated. Took 20 minutes for waitress to take the order. Upo ordering for my 3 & 5yo I asked if the quasadila were spicy and if they had anything but cheese in it. She states no they were not spicy and it was only cheese. They came out with peppers, tomatoes and onions. At the end it took over an hour for food to come out. Plenty of empty tables so not that busy. We also watched several people leave because they were not greater and seated. I could go on about the service and the length of time it took to get our food.. my parents ordered omelets and they didn’t come out till about 10 – 15 min AFTER a the kids meals, a burger and a phyilly sandwich

The crew on Tuesdays after 1 am are awesome. Twice now we’ve gone around that time and the food and the service have been fantastic. We weren’t expecting much at that time of night, but it’s the best Denny’s experience my husband and I have ever had. Thank you, Rachel and Demetrius, for a great meal!

The food is great and the service is very good as well… However the female day manager is extremely rude. Do try to avoid her and your dining experience should be great.

Decent breakfast, clean tables, service was fine. Food came pretty fast and they have free wifi.
But don’t expect much flexibility with dietary substitutions, and be careful ordering a la carte. I requested the chicken substitute instead of the bacon or pork sausage that accompanies breakfast plates, but they were out. So I requested hashbrowns instead of pork, but was told they can’t substitute bread items for meat items. I hoped they’d be more flexible since they were out of chicken, but no. So I just ordered three scrambled eggs with cheese, which I later realized came to a whopping $ 7.14 before tax. Each egg is $ 1.69, and they charge $.69 for cheese on each individual egg. Not worth it so watch out.

This place is really ideal when you travel between Florida and south Carolina. Nice stop. The service they do are really exemplary. Especially Cory — Great Manager-​he really travels extra mile to accomplish for customers. Other good people worth mentioning are
Morgan, Courtney and Ann– they do a great services. The different variety makes it really easy to work with. They come promptly and serve promptly.
Amazing and wonderful experience. I never forget during my drive between Florida and South Carolina.

Have eating in this Denny’s for a while now. This trip was the last. Generally the food is good, and service ok. The place is way too small for the expected crowd, as it is right off I-​95 on the way to Florida. The servers do a good job, but the kitchen is slow and does not pay attention to detail.
This visit ended in us walking out, never to be seated. After we where placed on the wait list by the server, along with another couple, we stood around as normal. The staff was not interested in clearing tables as there were at least 3 booths/​tables that were in need of cleaning. It became obvious that they control the pace of the service by limiting the turnover rate. The couple in front of us was seated, and then the manager came out of her office, and stated calling names off the list. The problem was that there was NO body else waiting. They had all been seated or left. I ask the manager why she would not seat us, and she replied that she had to go in the order of the list. She was so out of touch, and simply would not listen to us that we were the only ones waiting. She even walked out side to an empty lobby, calling names of people long gone or already seated. I finally told her if she was not going to seat us, we were leaving, in which she replied «that is what you need to do»
This manager was all in the punch bowl, and no idea what flavor it was. This is her way to slow the pace of the service, instead of getting her staff to do their job.
I will go to Denny’s, but not this one, and that is a shame…

Place is a typical Denny’s (good food, cheap) in a convenient location near highway and gas. Usually rave about females but this server Derek is awesome.

If you want a large, inexpensive meal, this is the place. I’m a big eater and I couldn’t eat all that was included in my meal.

First, this place is REALLY small. Probably built more for the hotel it’s attached to rather than the general public. Had to wait about 15 minutes, but then again we had a party of six and there was only like one table that could accommodate us. The smaller parties were mostly seated right away, though there was one couple that took just as long as us to get seated. The staff is pretty friendly, polite and really adept in the tight space. Food was… I wouldn’t say awful, but not quite enough flavor or spicing. I ordered the pot roast dinner and the gravy part was pretty watery thin. It didn’t have enough flavor either. The garlic bread they put under the meat was really good. The rest of the fam was pretty lackluster in response to the food, too. Portions seemed pretty good.

I went to this location twice in one week, the first time for an early lunch and the second for breakfast on Saturday morning. My lunch was on a Thursday and my husband and I were promptly greeted and seated although the restaurant was crowded. We had a wonderful and courteous server who left no detail unattended. She made sure that our drinks stayed filled, our lunch was delivered quickly and was top notch! This lunch deserved the 22% tip that we left our server.
The Saturday breakfast was another story. My husband and son decided to go back based on our wonderful lunch, and this time the place was crowded and the manager put us on a wait list for a booth. Not an issue as we were seated within 5 minutes. However, it all went downhill from there. My breakfast was simple, double order of bacon, hash browns, coffee and an English muffin. My husband and son had standard Denny’s fare; about thirty minutes later our food came, but missing were my son and my muffins. When we could catch the server’s attention she seemed put out that I was asking for my English muffin that should have come WITH my breakfast. I explained that by the time I was able to flag her down that my food was cold, which flustered her. She began to make excuses about it being the grill’s fault. By this time I just wanted to finish the meal and leave, which we did.
Bottom line: This Denny’s seems pretty good for lunch, but for a Saturday breakfast I would look elsewhere.

Location is gone.

I have been going to this location for several years and been very satisfied. However now, the best cook they had left, all the servers who are over 18 and were attentive and actually worked for a tip have left as well. Now there are only teenagers there who are more concerned with what each has done outside of work and you can’t get any decent service. It’s sad that this place has gone in the toilet!
