Americas Best Value Inn

Did not like. We pulled in to Americas Best Value Inn and we’re instantly struck with a strong impression that petty crime was occurring in the immediate vicinity. Our refrigerator did not work (even when plugged in to a different outlet). The shower was moldy, the old TV had no remote. The non smoking room smelled like it had recently been smoked in, hey, at least it smelled like tobacco… The only hand towel they provided us (the other two were washcloth’s) had a long black woman’s hair that belonged to neither of us. This was discovered post use. The bed had a consistency similar to the moon in a sense that it was cratered. And the staff was annoyed to be dealing with us, unfriendly, and extremely bored.

Good $ 40 rooms. Fast wireless. However, the showers have been kind of gross, and a number of rooms don’t have a TV remote. The nearby Mexican restaurant provides a little bit of annoying background noise, as well. No AAA discount, as the rate is already low.
