Simply not good. Chopped BBQ on the sandwich looked and tasted like its was prepackaged store bought. Will not go back.

The food is amazing! However Monique(the old lady who is the ONLY server there) is the the most rudest person I have ever met.

The worst experience of my bar b q life! I feel like I have been hoodwinked. Excellent food while they were located in Mechanicsville… dag how things changed. I can’t even explain my dissatisfaction. Take my word 1 for the neatness only!

Worst bbq I ever had. Ribs and chicken were oven cooked, not smoked. The sauce is «Open Pit.» The beans, fries, and cole slaw were just disgusting. The beer we drank had an expiration date of 1÷15÷15. Today is 3÷10÷15. The chairs at the tables are folding chairs. Should be out of business in the next 3 months.

What’s good: fried okra, hush puppies. What’s just ok: the pulled pork(plain, no smoky appearance or flavor, and not warm enough after 7pm), and the baked beans(with green peppers, not bbq baked beans), the service, the tomato based bbq sauce(simple tomatoey flavor with a little spice), and the vinegar based sauce(no flavor). What’s not good: blackberry cobbler, ice cream(tasted old), and the environment(too warm, humid, and dark).

No tomatoes for the Fried Green Tomatoes, but the fried okra and eggplant chips were great! Empty restaurant: check Slow service: check Food: nicely prepared, and tasty. A feast. Belief that animals cooked properly with the right amount of seasoning counterbalances the fact that Full C is a vegetarian makes the world better. The animals prefer life, but if they must die, they prefer to be tasty.

I’m usually not too keen on the North Carolina style Q, bit too vinegary for me, but the Brunswick stew was well nice, hush puppies were just right and the beans were excellent. Good service, but no brisket… :(

Have no clue how this place stays in business… rarely is there anyone dining when I visit in from out of town.

Just went here for the first time tonight. Been to Andy’s before at different locations so I knew what to expect. Very few people in there tonight… It was us and 2 other parties. The atmosphere is alright and the place is very clean and spacious. The barbecue was really good. It’s exactly my favorite kind of barbecue. Choppedwith north carolina style sauce. The cole slaw had way too much mustard added in my opinion, but the hushpuppies were excellent and they gave us a basket to share. The prices were great, with my barbecue platter being only 5.95. I also hear they have a really good lunch buffet.
