Perfect for those late night cravings! They are usually stocked with various donuts. I generally crave either the French cruller, or a good old apple fritter. The apple fritters here are HUGE and sweet! You definitely get your money’s worth and they are share size! The sprinkle is a classic cake donut and also yummy. The one thing about the donuts is that they are usually fresh as this place is open 24⁄7! Have yet to try the blueberry donut but I will. The area is sketch at most times but for a quick five minute stop, it’s a-ok with me.

Delicious cake donuts. Didn’t try anything else. But the maple iced cake was fresh and soft, and could have 2 kinds of sprinkles. They had a great selection at 11am. They are open 24hrs, and with full shelves at 11 it worried me that not all the donuts are especially fresh. I can’t see there being a huge lunch rush they were ready for.

Andy’s Donuts had lots of donuts on display, 3 kinds of french cruellers(not a good sign) eats: french crueller & old fashioned(1.85) –old fashion tasted a little stale, french crueller a day old?, not melt in ur month. 3.5 stars. crumbs: –maybe it’s a bad donut day, giving a break for the smiling service. –reasonable pricing, donuts should be fresh when they get busy. –prefer hometown up the street, always get a freebie…

This place is open 24⁄7 unlike any other donut shop in the area that only open in the mornings, sometimes when you are craving for some fresh donuts there isn’t a donut shop in the area that is open, until I discovered this place, lots of donuts to choose from super cheap so thats a plus I always get the donut holes its not all that but isn’t all bad either, people here are super friendly, no complaints so far Lol come get your sugar fix! XD

I wanted to love this place. The reviews are great, it’s not far from me, it’s open 24 hours, the selection is great, and so are the prices. I love French Crullers, but the ones I got yesterday were too heavy on the glaze and dense. Maybe I came on a bad day, or at a bad time. I’m not a huge donut fan anyway, so if the man of the house enjoys his donuts, we’ll give it another shot.

I stopped by Andy’s today and almost had a melt down. I realized how much I miss my mom living in CA. I remember being a little girl and her taking me to Andy’s. What business in the hood do you know that’s open 24 hrs? None, hell even the gas stations make you pay through a window lol. But good Olé Andy’s is ALWAYSOPEN and the donuts are always FRESH. If I never ate another Krispy Crème donut I’d be content.

I love Andy’s donuts!!! Classic donuts before Krispy Kreme and their generic donuts came along. You can still pick up a dozen in the classic pink box. Love it. The best part of this place is that it is a open 24 hours a day. I work at 3:45 in the morning and its great to be able to stop by and purchase my favorite maple bar with or without custard and a great cup of regular black coffee. The donuts always taste fresh. The staff there is always friendly and smiling regardless of what time of the night it is. The only reason I give them 4 stars instead of 5 is because they only take cash. Which I can understand because of the fact that they are a corner mom and pop donut stores and I can see that the transaction fees would probably not be worth the price of a few donuts. But I definitely do recommend this place. It’s a classic.

Look, I’m a big guy and I love donut. I’m not messing with you, this place has the best baked dough I have ever had. LoL. I’m serious though. I’ve been here a few times. Just found it about two weeks ago while out working and I’m glad I stumbled upon it. I’m sitting here right now chowing down a fresh donut and some milk and it is midnight. Where else in the area can you find fresh donuts at midnight?!? They are literally in there making fresh stuff right now. The staff is super friendly and the place is clean. I’m not sure I ever thought I would give a donut shop a five star review but they hit the nail on the head when it comes to creating some awesome, fresh donuts. A wide variety of course as you can find at almost any donut shop but these things are fresh and not hard enough to use as hockey pucks like you find at most donut shops. Maple bars are in hit and you can’t go wrong with the classic old fashioned. I will definitely be a return customer over and over again! Be sure to hit this place up and enjoy! You’re welcome! LoL

Andy’s Donuts are the best my wife and I ever had. We live in Los Angeles, and there are a lot of donut shops around, but this place is the cream of the crop. Don’t let the area fool you –the best places are the ones in areas that don’t seem outsider friendly. Thank you Andy’s Donuts!!!

This place is almost a Richmond historical landmark! This place has been around longer than I have been living. The donuts have always hit my donut spot here at Andy’s. Hot chocolate is pretty good. Prices are legit. Sometimes it can smell like cigarettes due to the odor from some of the customers. Located on 23rd(one of Richmond’s main streets), it isn’t in a «bad» area. Street parking is usually available or you can find parking on the rear of this place. Usually open 24⁄7 except for some holidays! common, these people can’t work everyday! haha. If you’re around this area in the morning or perhaps evening give this place a try!

Want to go to a real donut shop? Come to Andy’s. Andy’s has that downhome(if kinda nicotine smoky) feel. It’s not like going to the Starbucks of donut shops — all kinds of fancy names and options with a generic taste. Andy’s is the standalone-neighborhood-coffee-shop-that’s-been-there-forever donut shop. They even have a tiny parking lot out back useful for… making a u-turn to point the other way and park on the street. Donuts made right there, every day. Come at the right time and you can watch it be done. The people are real, flaws and characteristics and all. You get exactly what you see. Including very yummy donuts. Forget the chain donut places, forget the strip mall ultra-sugared-up donuts. Come to Andy’s for the real.

Andy’s donuts is a Richmond institution and a must if you’re in the hood. The apple fritters and the french crullers are excellent. Cops love this place and make sure that no one gets out of pocket. Classic Andy’s moment: I rolled up once with my sweet lady around 1am on a Saturday night hurting for an apple fritter. A couple of old school cops were chilling in the corner while dude behind the counter was frying up fresh donuts with a light cigarette in his mouth. This was like a year ago. There’s something about discretion when it comes to Johnny Law that I can really get behind.

This place is older than me. Almost as old as my mom. And throughout the years has proven to be one of the most reliable source of quality doughnuts 24⁄7. Yes, 24⁄7(except on holidays, sheesh even they need a break…) Stop by(cash only) and pick up the most hated comfort food in America, you will love yourself for it. Not the best neighborhood so make your visit short and sweet.

I try to avoid donuts like the plague, but if I’m weak, I keep going back to Andy’s. Have been since I was a kid. Always fresh tasting!
