Animal Inn

I boarded my dog recently and was quoted a price. They asked for an additional fee for pampering which was almost double the price. I opted out since I figured it was not a necessity and the boarding was for a few days. I received a call two days later letting me know that my dog had to go to the vet because she had a urinary tract infection. My dog is nine and she had never had such a problem. I had boarded her with another business and had never had this issue. When I picked her up they informed me that was common because unless you pay the pampering they don’t take your dog to do their business on the grass. They have to go on cement. This was never told to me. My dog is used to only going to do that on the grass so she unded up with an infection because she was holding it. This is totally unacceptable and will never do business with them. I got stuck with the boarding fees, an $ 80.00 vet fee and a sick dog.

This place is a little out of the way for me, but they have tons of room and my dog really seems to enjoy his stays.
4^th of July weekend 2011 — my dog sitter canceled on me at the last minute so I frantically began calling every boarding facility in Houston. It can be very difficult to find a good place on holiday weekends, especially if you have a larger dog like mine (65 lbs). The lady that answered the phone sounded very sweet and told me they had plenty of room for my dog.
The location is a little difficult to find your first time, but after you have been there once it’s a breeze. Their facilities are very clean and extremely spacious.
The only turn off for me about this place was that they required my dog to have a flea dip on his first visit even though I had documentation that he is on flea prevention purchased from my vet’s office. The lady at the desk had never heard of it which is a little disconcerting seeing as it is one of the most popular products on the market and someone who works with dogs everyday should know these things, but I digress. The dip was only $ 7 so no big deal.
He had a bath while he was there and I seriously need to find out what kind of shampoo they used because he smelt great when I picked him up!
