What a joke! I went in at noon on a Friday, and stood at the deli for a few minutes before the clerk yelled back to me that the deli was closed. UM… OKITSJUSTTHATITSLITUPWITHBREADMEATANDCHEESEBACKHERE??? ANDIT’S NOON? ON A FRIDAY??? When I walked in, it smelled like pot smoke. I’m not usually swayed by that. I used to smoke it too. But WTF? Don’t be a deli that’s not open at noon!!! SLACKERS!!! This is the perfect example of the crap stain that Richmond is… and what America has become… LAZY… FAT… SLACKER … AMERICA…#RICHMONDCA

The sandwiches are okay, so I’m rating that a 3. The price is $ 3.50 for a sandwich which is about $ 2 less than other delis, so that gets a 5. They are only offering cold sandwiches right now, but for $ 3.50 it’s totally worth it. I had salami on dutch crunch with all the toppings. They also have a combo with a drink and chips for $ 5.50. They have all kinds of snacks there and the location is great if you are looking to grab something on the way to BART. :)

Every kind of snack avail here, incl. to-order sandwiches. Very very handy for easy take-along food for BART-goers. Easy in, easy out, located on top platform south entrance, near new parking garage.

stay away from this place… went in for a sandwich and the guy behind the counter handling money walked to the deli to make my sandwich… he picked up some plastic gloves without washing his hands! i said aren’t you gonna wash your hands, he said no i have gloves… i immediately walked out… you have to touch the gloves to put them on dummy!

One can be wary getting off a train at an unknown station in an unknown town, especially when one of the first people you see can’t afford a fare of $ 8. But the new town jitters quickly goes away when walking into this place. The store clerk looked up, smiled, and said hello. Before entering, I wondered if they sold kombucha. It was about the only thing I wanted from a store that moment. Expecting to find little more than soda and packaged snacks, I was pleased to find a selection of Synergy kombucha drinks. Score. They also have a sandwich counter and odwalla bars. Cool.
