This a cute boutique with clothing that you cannot find in department stores. She carries very few items of each size, so I feel unique, especially since I’m bringing stuff back to Northern VA. The dresses here are a bit «young» and would appeal to 30s and under. The clothing has a retro girly vibe. Items are very affordable (dresses $ 60 -$ 120) and the sales people are very friendly. I can’t wait to come back to get some more sun dresses.
You MUST MUST MUST try things on — the sizes vary a lot.

I love to shop in Carytown, but normally my budget doesn’t allow me to shop exclusively at the unique boutiques here. This is why I love Bits & Pieces. The prices here are lower than your average small shop with many items under $ 100, and this inspires me to stop in more frequently.
The selection tends toward trendier and younger, but that doesn’t mean those beyond their teenage years can’t score some cool stuff. The first time I stopped in I scooped up two flowy sundresses for about $ 50 each. Not too bad! The store is mostly filled with apparel, but there’s also a selection of handbags, accessories and some locally made jewelry.
