Saw this at Chesterfield Towne Center and had to try it: it’s not often you see a bubble tea shop in the food court of a mall. I was looking forward to having bubble tea with poppers in it for the first time, but unfortunately the lady forgot my poppers :(Nevertheless, my blueberry tea(no milk) was super refreshing as I walked throughout the mall!

I was initially impressed, because of some of the flavors of soft serve. But unfortunately I never really get a chance to have any since both the machines and single employee at the establishment never seem to be working. I’m not surprised when I see the machines are out of flavor or just pouring liquid, and when the employee has disappeared from the counter. No goods + no service(never good customer service) = no business. From the looks of it that’s what it seems they have. Very disappointed.

I liked the boba! Even better was that I could mix flavors to make a coconut-honeydew concoction. In all my years of enjoying boba, I haven’t had the opportunity to mix those two flavors together, and I loved it! It was a bit on the pricier end, but you can do that when you’re in a mall and don’t have much competition for that particular product. There was one patron before me and he didn’t order boba. It seemed a bit quiet at this joint, while the rest of the food court was busy. My order was taken quickly and my drink came out shortly. I wanted more after I quickly sipped it all up, so I will certainly be making a stop here at my next mall outing!

Bobalicious? More like Boba Grossness. We visited this place in the early afternoon and it looked like toppings hadn’t been refilled or cleaned up all day. This is particularly problematic when you have a kid with a tree nut allergy and you see almonds mixed in with the Oreos. They had very limited flavors and the yogurt was thin and watery. When I pressed the pump for the hot fudge sauce it came out like water and it wasn’t close to being«hot» fudge. The employees were some of the most apathetic people I have ever encountered. I don’t expect spectacular food from a food court, but this was really gross. Never again.

This place has the best Taro flavor I’ve tried — sweet and creamy. Love it mixed with their lactose-free(yay) chocolate and topped with chocolate chips. They also have really good boba tea drinks — slushes(the mango passion fruit is delish), as well as milk tea versions. During the week they have happy hour specials from 3 – 6 pm — fill a 12 oz cup w/unlimited toppings for $ 3! Also specials on the boba tea too I believe, but I can’t remember the price(may be $ 3 as well). There’s a little sign up by the yogurt pumps you can check for the exact happy hour deal. The cups are around the side on the far right(I missed them at first).

It’s okay, I like the self serve concept, but they didn’t have a lot of flavors– at least what I liked.

I’ve been to bobalicious twice and at both times I had good bubble tea. I ordered regular milk tea(not slushied) which is my fave flavor and today I ordered mango slush with boba. Bf ordered his usual Taro with Boba slush. I like that they’re generous with the boba/bubble. There is an option to have it as a smoothie… There really isn’t much that can go wrong with these drinks. The bubble/tapioca boba was just the right consistency and I’m happy with it. I compare my bubble milk tea/drink with ones I’ve had in Cali and the Philippines and the drinks at Bobalicious is actually good.

I went here yesterday with a friend of mine and we were both pretty excited about this place. It has frozen yogurt as well as bubble tea type drinks. Since I can’t have frozen yogurt of ice cream due to allergy reasons, we opted to go for the bubble teas.(Tokyo Shogun used to be my go-to for bubble tea, but unfortunately they closed so we were looking for a new place to get bubble teas.) We each got a different flavor and we both decided to get different«bubbles» to put in the tea. I got regular tapioca and she got these flavor bubbles that had sweet liquid on the inside of them. We both knew that this would be a different flavor experience just by looking at the drinks because well, they obviously don’t look like some of the other bubble teas we would have gotten from TS. They’re iced instead of blended, but I didn’t really have a problem with that.(I do have to say that the way they package the teas is pretty cool and it’s fun taking the straw and poking a hole in the top.) Where the teas came up short is that they just didn’t taste all that good. Both of our teas were bitter and tart, but what really killed the teas was that it had this weird chemical aftertaste to them. I’m not sure how they make the teas, but they tasted like it was made with the artificial tea«taste» rather than with actual tea or at the very least, like it was made with tea that had been steeping for far too long. My friend didn’t even bother finishing hers. We might go back so my friend can get some yogurt(they do have lactose free chocolate and vanilla yogurt, which is nice), but I don’t think we’ll get the teas here. They just don’t taste that good. The service here is really good though and the girls that were working were very eager to please. Service-wise, it’s 5 stars. Tea flavor-wise, it just wasn’t all that great.
