Come here often for happy hour as it is convenient to my office. They have great specials on drinks and small plates. My personal favorites are the white peach sangria and the pineapple ginger flip. Very tasty and well mixed. Love the shrimp and eggplant appetizer and the margarita flatbread. The spinach and artichoke dip is pretty tasty too. Good place go come to share a meal with friends. Servers in the bar area are very attentive and check in when close to the end of HH.

Excellent service. I recently had my sister’s baby shower here and the venue, food and atmosphere were great, but the service was fantastic! I highly recommend this place for group events.

I came here with a group of residents from my job and the place was very accommodating considering the size of our crowd and the number or walkers and wheelchairs we had. They understood that we could not sit in booths and were able to set up tables for us. The service was great and their food was delicious. Overall, I would definitely come here again.

Do like. A bit chain restaurant. Food always above average. Great outside sitting when weather nice. Inside a bit busy.

Great happy hour! There’s a nice selection of drinks and a variety of food options! We ordered both the red and white sangria which were both really good. We also shared the beef carpaccio, classic burger, shrimp and eggplant, and sausage and pepperoni flatbread. The beef carpaccio was by far my favorite but I’d say everything was delicious. Highly recommend the HH here. It’s such a great deal for what you get!

Great place for brunch! Menu is always delicious, with a wide selection. In the spring/summer time, the outside seating is perfect!

What an amazing place to dine. I love the ambiance of Brio’s and the location is just as fabulous. It’s a very high end place to enjoy dinner but I give them props for producing deliciously delicate meals. I usually go for the crab cakes & carbonara. They’ve also got a large variety of wine and cocktails– tried a few and all were outstanding. Service is impeccable and all are willing to accommodate certain needs and desires you’d like met. Definitely going back soon!

Went with a group to celebrate a friend’s birthday. Lovely atmosphere and good menu selection. We had a fabulous waiter! The food was good-everyone was happy with their order. Our drinks were kept filled and we were well-taken care of without that weird hovering waiter feeling. We weren’t rushed out and enjoyed a leisurely dessert(which was delicious)! We’ll be back!

Yumm-O! I met a group of friends here for dinner and we had a great time. The interior is very nice, and welcoming. Our server was phenomenal. She was very attentive and very efficient. The wine and cocktail list was also very good. Everything we ordered was tasty. The chocolate lave cake is definitely a must have! The entrée portions are huge. I had plenty to take home and eat for lunch the next day. Overall, a great experience and I will be back.

This is one of my wife’s favorite restaurants. It is, first of all a very good looking restaurant. For a chain they seem to be rather independent. I’ve enjoyed their signature dish, the Beef Carpaccio. It is excellent. My wife will normally choose among one of their salads. I’ve been there with six and four and just the two of us and each time we’ve gotten good service. The timeliness of service is good regardless of our number of diners. Never had a complain when it has come to the quality of food. Even w/excellent service it can be a bit slow, but it’s a large restaurant and when we’ve been there, quite busy. All in all, of the larger restaurants in RVA, this is a very nice place to dine. My wife loves to go to lunch w/her friends there.

Went to eat with friends at Brio for the first time today. We had a wonderful experience. The service was so prompt, that another server even stopped by to check that we had been waited on. We ordered the calamari appetizer, a side caesar salad, some lobster bisque, a strawberry balsamic salad, and a salmon entrée from the lunch menu that the server happily accommodated for us. Everything was paced correctly and came out quickly and tasted delicious. We will definitely be back to try other items.

Chicken Under a Brick — Good, moist but tending towards overdone, sauce and mushrooms really didn’t add too much flavor. Blackened Tilapia — excellent, portion was rather small Lobster Shrimp Ravioli was good, well balanced, could have used a bit more salt or other spices to make it excellent. Dessert — Chocolate Cake, wasn’t mine, and I never got a bite. My assumption based on the noises from that side of the table was that it was excellent. Crème Brulee — good. Cheesecake — it was dry — skip it. The service, as always, was very good here. Entertaining when necessary and unobtrusive when they needed to stay out of the way. Outside patio is pleasant on a nice day. If they priced their wine and specialty drinks a little more conservatively, the meal would have been worth the price. With the drinks, I feel it was too expensive.

5 stars, outstanding all around. Walked up with out a reservation, hostess was polite and on her fame. She knew that there were open tables outside and we were seated promptly. Shortly after sitting we were greated by our waiter who brought waters and returned quickly with our bar drinks. I appreciate a waiter who gives you space but knows that you’re ready to order. Especially on a date night with out kids. Food was plate licking good. I ordered the ravioli Di bello and the wife ordered lobster ravioli with shrimp. Hers was a little spicy which was appreciated. I ended up finishing her plate too. No need for dessert since we were full. Very excited to come back for more.

Love this place. Came to Brio in Tysons up in Northern Va and I left with the worst mood ever. So glad that i got to have another great experience here at the Richmond location as I remembered before. Service — Awesome. Food — Awesome!(Beef Carpaccio, Bruschetta Quattro, Chicken and Quinoa Salad, Chicken and Roasted red peppers, Crab cakes, and sweet potato risotto). Venue — Relaxed and elegant. Make sure you come hungry

Excellent service. Excellent food. Me and my wife wanted Italian so we decided to try Brios. The hostess was extremely nice to us. We were seated promptly. Drink orders were placed and the flatbread was at the table very shortly after sitting down. Appetizers, entrées and dessert were on point. We will definitely be returning.

Stopped in during a girl’s day at Stony Point for lunch around 3ish on Saturday. It was freezing rain at the time so the restaurant wasn’t very crowded but since we had driven all the way from Norfolk/Va Beach we weren’t leaving due to a little ice and slush! The inside is very spacious with high ceilings and columns — somewhat like a smaller version of the Cheesecake Factory. We were seated at a large booth by the open kitchen and greeted by a friendly server after a few minutes who brought our drinks and some bread and some delicious toasted pita crunchy things — YUM. I asked for extra of those — they were good. I ordered one of the Salmon entrees — they had a couple — mine had sweet potatoes, asparagus, and roasted red peppers with a tangy wine sauce. It was very good. I added a side wedge salad which I also enjoyed. My friend ordered a salad and steak bruschetta — I didn’t try hers but it looked very good. All in all — not a bad meal. They had plenty of healthy options which made me happy — lots of salads and some really good appetizer breads.

The boyfriend and I decided to come here on New Years since we got a gift card. I’ve never been here before but he had. I love Italian food and this place was good but I’ve had better. Our waiter was okay, I feel like he wasn’t as attentive as the other waiters and waitresses. Anyways, they give you bread for the table and yes the bread was warm however the butter was still cold, which I don’t mind only if the bread is warm. I ordered the shrimp verduta and my boyfriend got the chicken piccata. Mine was okay I wish it had more flavor. My boyfriends dish looked delicious and I even had some and I really wish I got his instead. We the of course got dessert and they had a lot of options and we decided to get their little shooters. I got the tiramisu and my boyfriend got the peanut butter pie. Mine was okay, it tasted more like just chocolate mousse and no coffee taste. I didn’t taste my boyfriends but he seemed to really like it. Overall I would come back, maybe try another dish, and hopefully get a new waiter.

Brio is always excellent, and New Years Eve was no exception. My girlfriend and I were seated quickly in a large booth and drinks were offered almost immediately. The best part(in my opinion) of the dining experience is when the bring the bread out. Their thin flatbread tastes like Cheez Its and you could eat a whole tray if they offered it to you. But onto the meal. I ordered the Chicken Limone which is similar to a typical chicken picatta. This particular dish was served with roasted veggies and creamy mashed potatoes. The portion sizes are large, as I was served three decent sized chicken cutlets. My date order the pasta Verdutta and said hers was fabulous as well. All this for $ 50 ain’t too bad. Definitely recommended.
