Slow slow service. Food was fine but I have spent most my time waiting on food or waiting in my check. Been here over an hour.

This place gets really busy and my to– go order wasn’t correct the last time I did curbside order. The food is good if their not too busy but dinner there you can find yourself waiting for up to 20 minutes. But, if your looking for consistent Chinese in this area there are a lot of other local options which give you more variety and flavors with Asian flair such as PF.

Addicted. I went there again. Waitress always asked if it was for a special event. I felt bad to reply it was just a everyday dinner. Lol Addicted to the sea bass. I feel bad if I don’t order sea bass at pf Chang.(Coming from someone who always tries sth new) Waitress offered us a free mini dessert.

I must say this is normally one of my favorite restaurants but yesterday I was extremely disappointed!!! I had the hot and sour soup which I will say was delicious but I also had the shrimp fried rice which was horrible!!! It lacked flavor and was extremely dry! I don’t like to send food back as you never know what goes on in the kitchen when you do so I had to drown the rice in the specialty sauce they make for you just so I could eat it. Hopefully, it was just an off day because normally this is not my experience but I must say I was disappointed this time!

We’ve both been here a handful of times and thought we’d give it another shot on New Years Day. Granted it was New Years Day so the overall vibe of the staff was understandably kinda low. We started with the crab wonton appetizer which was disappointing, the flavor was pretty bland and we could barely taste the crab. It was basically a piece of fried dough. Next up the Mongolian Beef which was good but seemed like it might have been sitting in the window for a bit before making it’s way to us. Still the flavor was tasty however«I wouldn’t write home to ma about it» Hands down the best part of the meal was the Cantonese chicken with a refreshing light tasty sauce the fry and crisp on the chicken was just enough to add a nice crunch to the outside of a juicy breast. For us this saved the meal! Overall we’d give our experience 2 out of 5 stars — it was good but there are lots of other places we’re looking forward to exploring in Richmond!

Bartender is on point. Food could have been hotter but at least it was FINALLY not raw like other pf changs. Bar guest was banging on the bar like a cave man… don’t know how bartender had the patience, but he did. All in all, a pretty good pf changs!

Yes it’s a chain and yes it’s good. Very consistent. It’s expensive for Chinese but it’s a step above your average Chinese restaurant(well most — still a big cc wok fan in midlo). But wont disappoint except for the price.

The food is always good when I come here. The service was pretty good also. I always get combo lo mein or combo fried rice.

I would like to share an unpleasant lunch experience at a restaurant that once used to be one of my favorites. Decided to check it out today after a long time. Drove about half an hour to get to the place. On the way we ignored about two dozen competitive restaurants vying to get our attention with attractive and reasonably priced lunch menus, all excited to savor the peculiar PF Chang’s ambience and satisfy the cravings for oh-so-peculiar P F chang’s americanized chinese entrees. For lunch, we ordered korean BBQ chicken and kung pao chicken. To my utter dismay, the streamed brown rice was crunchy in places(Al dente). Not to show my disappointment I quickly switched to the chicken, which to my horror was dry and tasted awful. The spring roll was too oily and smelled of stale oil. The lack of soul and the haphazard way of presentation was alarming. It is a shame that a renowned chain restaurant had to resort to cook so flavorless food. and Oh! to top the experience they have increased the prices as well. I forgot to mention the lack of IQ that the restaurant is currently demonstrating with not timing the entrees after the appetizers. With a heavy heart I might have to bid adieu to the restaurant for good. :(

My family always enjoys eating here! The children like it not only bc Stony Point is a little far from home so it seems like a special destination, but also bc of the high quality variety of food that we just don’t find close to home. We often get seated in the cool looking semi circular banquettes that are stepped up from the rest of the tables on the floor and we like that we can see the rest of the restaurant better. This Saturday night, the place was packed and I was glad that I made a reservation online earlier in the day. Since it’s October and Breast Cancer awareness month, I decided to start with the Pink Cosmo. My DH chose the Kirin Ichiban beer, although we both missed the other Japanese beer they used to have on draft, Sapporo. We also ordered the new kale and quinoa dip with sesame wonton crisps, as well as the tried-and-true chicken lettuce wraps. Our server came back quickly with waters all around but said that he had gotten slammed … Probably why we didn’t get our drinks right away. The wraps came right after and were a hit. Then came the drinks and my Cosmo was beautiful and delicious. The quinoa kale dip was cool and zesty. Another server asked if we wanted more crisps and it was a resounding«yes!» The fried rice was perfectly prepared and the fave dish for three out of four of us. The sauce with the veggie spring rolls was heavy on the ginger which I loved. The Orange Peel beef was also a favorite. My youngest(who loved the kids chicken dish) commented on how friendly our waiter was — and we agreed… friendly, personable and attentive without being cloying. The veggie lo mein was yummy also. We were too full for dessert!

Had the Calamari and Sesame Chicken with extra Veges. Julia was our rockstar waitress, delivering all the great service expected at this establishment.

Well, I gave it another shot. I ordered their Lobster fried rice to go(~$ 17). 45 minutes later the meal was ready. Inside I found a moderate portion of fried rich with about 10 popcorn sized pieces of lobster and the incredibly disgusting lobster’s empty exoskeleton buried under the rice. Montezuma’s revenge again! Wow. I am really not hard to please and I felt so strongly compelled to follow up. Disaster.

Every experience at P.F. Chang’s is a great one. My husband loves the broccoli and chicken and rarely tries anything new, BUT I am also open to seeing what something might taste like(unless I know its spicy). This girl cant take spice! The one thing I have learned and take advantage of is making a reservation. Especially on the weekends. There will be a 3 hour wait otherwise. Sometimes I’ll feel bad walking through 30 people, saying my name and getting immediately sat, but make reservations people, make reservations! I always look forward to the lettuce wraps for an app or even my meal if I’m not starved. As messy as they are(spooning the meat in but wrapping it all up with your hands, and taking bites, feeling the excess mixture and water from the lettuce drip out haha), they are worth it! This Time I got the fried frice and sweet and sour chicken. THe fried rice was awesome and a good portion, and the chicken was good too. A little TOO fried, but I just ate less at dinner which meant… LEFTOVERS :)

Chinese food made by people who aren’t chinese is easy to spot if you’re a fan of Asian cuisine. P.F. Changs is strangely expensive for a place whose basic dishes like soup and fried rice lack any small resemblance to the strong flavors of authentic chinese restaraunts. The egg drop soup does not have the thick consistency common with average egg drop soup, as it is very watered down with 3 floating strings of carrots… carrots in egg drop soup?! Moral of the story is, if you’re in the mood for chinese food, do not go here; spend far less money for the actual real thing at any number of Chinese restaraunts in the Richmond area. If you’re hungry for any other type of food, then by all means go here.

Never got to eat anything so this won’t help if you want to know about food quality. The place was not that busy, but we waited 15 minutes(plus) to be seated. The Host was rude and acted like he was tired. from partying. We waited another 15 – 20 minutes before the waiter took our drink order. While he was away getting drinks, people were seated at the table next to us. He came by shortly after and took their drink order. He came back with our drinks, sat them on our table went straight to their table with their. Drinks and started taking their order! We just left. Won’t be going back there.

New menu is nice but I think it’s a bit pricier. The service was fast. We arrived around 3:00 which is a great time. The lunch menu was still available and the happy hour was just beginning. Note to self! Made a great deal for lunch, drinks and appetizers. I had the shrimp and brocalli with brown rice and egg drop soup. Yum!

I came here for a group lunch and it was not my choice to come here. I didn’t think I would like it, but I was so wrong. They have a huge menu with lots of delicious Asian dishes. I was surprised to see that you could get sushi, Thai, and Japanese dishes because I thought they only did Chinese. The scene is upscale but slightly casual(no white table cloths) and the dining room is elegant with comfortable seating. We had a group of 12 and everyone loved their dish. I had a hard time choosing, which is how I know I have to go back, but I got egg drop soup, egg rolls, and shrimp pad thai. All very delicious and distinctively different from your typical take-out places. I tried beef and broccoli and that was delicious too. Our server was not so great, however. We had to ask for all refills. We were given one bowl of white rice for 12 people. Two people received their apps 10 min after everyone else. We were not a demanding group yet he failed to meet the basics of serving.

Our waiter, Hung, was awesome! The food was good and the service was great. Happy Hour ends at 6 so that’s not the best. Also a few of the desserts had a hint of ginger. not the best.

I’ve been to PF Chang’s in Brea, CA and now Richmond, VA. I’ve been to the California location several times and the Richmond location exactly three times. In all those times I’ve never once had a deviance from service or food quality. It’s absolutely perfect every time. Maybe I need to go more often or during a really busy time? I don’t know. This place certainly is has always taken care of me. I’ve spent two romantic dinners here with my lady love and the experience was absolutely perfect. The lettuce wraps are flawless, the Mongolian beef is divine, and the Tiramisu is in a class all its own. Our waiter was fantastic and I frankly can’t even think of any more nice things to say about this place. If I keep thinking about it I might drive down there right now and gorge myself on lettuce wraps. Will you be dining alone sir? Yes. I would also like three orders of lettuce wraps.
