Best way I can describe this place — it covered the bases… I would only eat there in an emergency(aka you are starved…)

Burger was a nasty wad of overcooked unseasoned ground beef. Fries seemed like they we freezer burnt then hastily baked. Staff was rude and didn’t understand the simple menu. They didn’t have ice cream but left that part of the menu up.

2.5 stars. The burger and fry combo, how do you ruin it? You stick it in the Richmond«International» Airport and call it Cheeburger Cheeburger. Truly mediocre. The burger was a gray lump with lettuce, tomato just haphazardly dumped on a COLD, yes, COLD bun. The fries on my visit were greasy soggy messes. Taste: grease. Unseasoned meat. Meat lump too fat and round to bite into any of the vegies. Grey meat lump on cold bread. I expect Prison is better. Cute but empty restaurant! Its slow and bad and everyone knows this. Keep walking. Get a snickers from the magazine store.

The classic burger wins for the worst burger ever. Seriously, it’s bad — even when you haven’t eaten all day and would be willing to eat just about anything. It’s very dry and very flavorless.

There are extremely limited options in the Richmond Airport, so you would think a place might want to stand out. Unfortunately, this would not be the case with Cheeburger Cheeburger. I’ve had some food from a non airport location before, and it was decent. This was not the case here at all. Overpriced, overcooked, and under flavored was the breakdown here. They had one employee taking orders, and a few others back cooking food, but if you find yourself behind another four of five people, just know it will take all of 15 – 20 minutes for your food to be ready. As for the food itself, we had the chicken tenders with added fries for $ 14.00, and a burger. My general thought on calling something a «chicken finger basket» is that fries would be included(this was not the case). At the time of our visit, the soda fountain was down to two choices out of the original five. Overall, do yourself a favor and eat before hitting this airport. There is a Wawa gas station right before you enter the airport, I’m sure the sanwiches there are better and cheaper.

The fries were fantastic. Lots of them, too. The burger was average. All in all, it is definitely overpriced. But that’s what you get when there are no other competitors.

If it were 50% better, I’d consider it good enough for dog food. Seriously, skip it.

They’re lucky they’re the only food place in this wing of the airport. Average food, extremely over priced, long wait. 13.99 for chicken tenders and a water. None of their meals come with fries(which are 5 dollars extra). What a joke. Like I said they have 0 competition and they’re taking advantage of it. Highway robbery.

Excellent fries and a satisfactory turkey burger, but be prepared to overpay. The menu says $ 7.99 for the burger, but a combo is over $ 16 total! Good food, but could’ve gotten more for the price elsewhere. However, not much choice in Terminal B of RIC.

Way way overpriced for food that tastes like it came out of a microwave. Let’s put it this way, it’s High School concession stand food at Pro stadium prices. Dirty, needed to be cleaned. Slow service, one guy was waiting 30 min for his food. Hope this place isn’t a franchise.

Only food place open on my recent stop, so I had to give it a try. I ordered chicken fingers and fries. The fries were actually pretty good but the chicken fingers were lackluster. They weren’t crispy and they were barely warm. The lady at the cash register was pleasant but the wait time was too long and the food overpriced for what you got. You’d be better off bringing a sandwich from home!

The«serious» sized burger was a good size, but it was dry and lacked any flavor whatsoever. The fries were really good — I’m a fan of fries made from unpeeled potatoes. But $ 14 for a lousy burger and some fries(no drink) is a little silly, even in an airport.

This is the first time I have ever posted a negative review on Unilocal. But the people at this cheeburger cheeburger are completely incompetent. I ordered a veggie burger. After waiting 21 minutes they told me they hadn’t started it yet and it would be another 10 minutes to make. I told them I would miss my flight and wanted my money back. They said by the time the manager could come up the sandwich would be done. I had to leave — after paying– with nothing so I didn’t miss my flight. Total incompetence.

Very disappointed. The food is bad and they close very early. But people don’t have many choices at the small RIC airport.

Of all the times I have flown out of RIC airport, I have been relagated to the food in Terminal A… Well, this time I decided to venture out and I am glad I did. Cheeburger Cheeburger hit the spot. I highly recommend the onion rings and the Oreo Milkshake. You’re welcome.

Its pretty bad… I stop in and grab a soda sometimes, but other then that the two times I’ve ate their food I regretted it. Once on an early flight out I grabbed a biscuit which add ALL microwave ingredients. Microwaved eggs, microwaved bacon, microwaved biscuit… Nasty. They other was a late flight out grabbed a burger and was so disgusting I took one bight and threw it away…

Went to order breakfast at 9:45 am. Was told they only had biscuits as they we’re changing from breakfast to lunch. If they want to change over at 9:45 fine, but don’t advise 10:00. Already over priced, and can’t order what is on the menu!!!

I’ve been meaning to try this place for ages, but I normally fly US Airways and I’m subjected to the abysmal food options of Terminal A. But I flew in on JetBlue at lunch time when I didn’t have a car to pick up lunch after I left the airport, so I figured the stars were aligning so I could finally eat at Cheeburger Cheeburger! I got the Classic Burger with Swiss Cheese, Pickles, and Banana Peppers, and Onion Rings and a Strawberry Milkshake. The best part of the meal was the milkshake. I love a good milkshake with my burger(my only issue with Five Guys), and this was filled with fresh strawberry flavor. It was a little thick, but admittedly I prefer milkshakes on the thinner side since I don’t want to work for my drink. But I could forgive the thickness since it was hand spun. The onion rings were also fantastic. I almost didn’t get them since it was $ 5 for the smallest size. But it was worth every penny. They were hand cut and had a yummy flaky batter. And you got a large quantity, which makes the price more palatable. If I wasn’t by myself I could have easily shared them. But they were delicious enough to eat all by myself. The burger was good, but not great. It was a little well done for my taste. But the patty was decently thick considering it was the smallest of the three size options. And the flavor was good. The meal was expensive though, even for airport standards. $ 17 for burger, rings, and a small shake. Luckily I had some per diem to burn. Next time though, I’ll probably just spend the money on a large onion ring and large shake, and skip the burger :)

They serve up a surprisingly good cheese burger at this tiny Richmond Airport burger place. Their burgers have a thick very tasty meat patty that is cooked as you wait. Cheeburger, Cheeburger has«Serious», «Slightly-Serious» and«Classic» size burgers that are 9, 7 and 5 oz respectively. The Slightly-Serious” turned out to be the perfect to-go meal for my flight. It is very satisfying to be chomping on a delicious 7oz burger instead of a microscopic bag of mouth drying airline pretzels.

There are only a few options if you want a meal in the Richmond concourse. Cheesburger Cheesburger offers some burger options that I did not expect. I ordered a turkey burger and fries. The fries were nice. The burger can be personalized with topping, including peppers, different cheeses, mushrooms and onions(among other things). It was a pretty tasty meal, though not the healthiest. The nice thing is that the sandwich was cooked fresh when I ordered it, instead of being wrapped in plastic and having an unknown birth date. Happy travels!
