Last night was our first visit here, and we will be back again soon! Really nice selection of local beers on draft; had an 8th Wonder Rocket Fuel on nitro. The cocktail menu looked good too — need to try one next time. The food was outstanding — best fried pickles ever, with fresh buttermilk ranch. Fresh pork cracklin’s(that still crackled and popped at our table!) with a sweet chili dipping sauce that went really well with it — it said«salsa» on the menu which would not have been as nice, and the sweet chili was a pleasant surprise. We shared the fish and chips for dinner, which was a high quality white fish and really good homemade fries.

I went to Clancy’s last week and order fried pickles, chicken fingers and fries. It was all very tasty and the atmosphere was great. I’ll be back. They have all types of Irish beers. This is a must stop off location when your visiting Richmond, Texas.

Wife and I went to Clancy’s after a long wait. We had tried multiple times unsuccessfully because of long waits. I had the Clancy’s Burger with house-made chips and my wife had the pulled pork/coleslaw/fried pickle sandwich. I had two different IPAs on tap, and my wife had a local Pilsner. The burger was fantastic(huge, cooked perfectly, fresh ingredients) and the chips were fresh and crispy. My wife said she absolutely loved her sandwich and the sweet potato waffle fries melted in your mouth. The service was prompt, smiling, and gracious. Sean the owner came by twice to make sure everything was great. Very satisfied, we will be back!

Not a lot of people have heard of this or had it, even those who live right around the corner from it! I haven’t tried much from here but everything I’ve had has been super food. They also have a bar and a variety of beers for those who like to eat and drink, or drink in general! I’ve had the eggsecutioner, big boss hog, and the southwest chicken panini. Their patties as well as the chicken is so juicy and full of flavor. It’s made just right and I love their fries as well as their house chips. Im not sure why, but I always like to try different restaurant’s house chips. The service is always very attentive and courteous. I’ve also called in a to-go order and it was ready when I got there. I hope others get to try this place out, can’t wait to try the rest of their menu. Oh! They also have pretty good fried okra

Like coming here for something different. We always get the Kracklin’s and the dipping sauce makes them perfect! Service has always been good and I love the atmosphere. Love the beer choices and appreciate them letting me try different ones before I commit to buy.

Really enjoyed the service and food. Tried the fresh fried pork skins. Excellent! Then to the Irish stew. Not bad and plenty of meat. I came for the fish and chips. Wonderful cod with a nice crisp batter. We were in London for a week and had fish and chips 5 days in a row. The fish was very good. They use a Guinness Stout and then batter. Would I come back– you bet! Was here at lunch and fairly quiet! I’m sure it’s livelier at night!

First time to this restaurant/pub. Had heard good things on Unilocal and from friends so it was a very disappointing experience. We arrived and were seated with no wait. We ordered waters to drink and when the waitress returned she spilled the entire tray on my mother-in-law. I mean, right in her lap. No I can forgive that. It was an accident and it happens. And the waitress was very apologetic. Anyway, fortunately for us, my mother-in-law lives 5 minutes away so I ferried her back to her house to change(she was soaked). My wife and son stayed behind and ordered some fried pickles(which my wife said was meh). We returned clean and dry and ordered. It took 40 minutes for our food to come out. It was a really really long wait. I asked the waitress what took so long and she said she was sorry. No real explanation. I ordered the Buffalo Chicken sandwich(grilled not fried) and green beans in place of the fries or chips. That was an extra $ 1.50. Not too unreasonable. The chicken was overcooked and tough. It was on the grill for way too long. Flavor was good and the bun was also fresh and sweet. But overall it just was ok because the chicken was so darn tough. My wife got the Pulled pork hoagie. She said it was ok. She had been here before and had the pulled pork and there was a lot more meat the first time. She thought maybe they should have called it a Cole Slaw sandwich with a little pulled pork on top. My son had the honey Sriracha wings. They were really sweet but not very spicy. Again, he said they were ok. My mother-in-law had the open-face roast beef sandwich and potato soup. Both of these she said was so salty she couldn’t eat it all. She ate half the sandwich and about half the soup. The manager did comp my mother-in-laws meal so they did try to make it somewhat but overall it was not a pleasant experience with the really slow service and just ok food. I will give it one more try and may adjust the score afterwards. Bottom line. Just average.

First time here and had an awesome experience from start to finish! Jasmine is the BEST waitress! She’s on point and will give you recommendations! BTW… the Reaper wings are STUPIDHOT! I’m a person who loves hot, but I had to take the backseat to these wings! Drinks are great as well!

I love this place, very personable. The staff is amazing, and they really help veterans. I am a veteran and have problems with crowds, they made sure to make sure I was comfortable and accommodating my needs.

Today was our 1st visit, but definitely not our last! Huge selection of beer and delicious food at reasonable prices. I’m glad we finally came here, and so close to home! I had the chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and macaroni and cheese and my husband had the salmon with rice pilaf and macaroni and cheese, and we bought devoured our meals! Heather, our waitress, was very helpful in deciding what to eat and what beer to try(brought samples) & we loved her recommendations! I am looking forward to returning and trying other things on the menu.

I have been here about 6 times now and I am still impressed by their food quality and flavor, great beer selection and friendly personable staff. Great addition to our neighborhood. Go out and patronize this local business. You will not be disappointed.

Great little place. We have had great service every time and the food had always been yummy! I figured after our 4th time dining in I should write a review!!! Burger, chicken, po boys, homemade chips, shepherds pie, and the deserts!!! My only complaint is the price of the sodas. But then again who really needs a soda! We do love support the alternative and local!

Glad to have a pub in the area with decent pub food. Ordered fish and chips. One of my favorites. Really done well. Husband had something I do not remember but I do recall him saying it was good. Had a few beers on tap as well. Prices were reasonable. Honestly, we have only been once. Can’t really say why except the acoustics were really off in the place. We were sat close to the bar and I understand… it’s a pub. I used to frequent them all the time I my 20’s. There were two bar height tables of about 8 people next to us and every single person was absolutely smashed, drunk out of their mind. To the point where I felt like I needed to take their keys and call Über or something! Therefore, every word that each person spoke could’ve been heard all the way to the railroad tracks. People like to get out and have a good time but it was extremely obnoxious especially with the high shrill of drunk women laughing. The kind of noise that just jolts you when you have your back to them. I would’ve preferred to have been sat in one of the adjoining rooms but they were not seating people there. Also the lighting was extremely bright. Needed to install dinners or just get rid of the fluorescents all together. Now mind you I have not been back since they were only open only for a few months and I’ve heard the owner is really taking all the compliments and criticism to heart so I will revisit. I’ve been trying to think of some way they can better serve those that want to eat, watch tv and have conversation away from the rowdy drunk patrons by the bar. We ate rather quickly and left. I give the food a thumbs up but the ambiance/noise levels were a bit too much, even for a fun night out

Thin blue line— this is the place for you! I love all of their flags, including their thin blue line American flag. The owners, managers, and staff are great. Food is fresher than anything you can find within 25 miles… And delicious! We tried the southwest egg rolls. They were fresh, warm, spicy, but not overwhelming. The wings were the«cleanest/freshest» I have ever had. Despite getting the calorie full Parmesan Garlic version, I still felt like I had eaten somewhat healthy. No breaking and took awhile to cook because they weren’t pre fried. Love it. The chicken panini was a 10⁄10. My husband got a burger and it was actually cooked how he ordered it and still moist despite being MW. The chips and sweet potato fries are delicious. Overall, 10⁄10. Beer selection is great too. Very crafty but still has normal beers too.

I have never been to a Pub that severed potato chips as part of fish and Chips. This shows a complete lack of knowledge when if comes to Pub food. The service was horrible and they never brought our appetizers out. The fish however was tasty and if they served with«Chips and not Crisps» it would have been very good. I will try again and hopefully give them a better review in the future. Update: I returned to Clancy’s and they now offer Chips(french fries) as well as Crisp(potato chips) with there Fish and Chips. The food is better than average. The service was also better this time.

Need better systems in place. We were put in the«party room» and we were ignored. We had a group of 8 and there was plenty of room for others. People were waiting for seats for 2 or 4 and they were not put back here. Knock the wall down and it will be much better!!! Not giving up on the place but things need to get better. 3 out of 5 on the fried macaroni. Need more pieces for $ 7. 11÷6÷15 Shepard Pie– Terrible!!!

Top notch customer service. Everyone is helpful, efficient, and attentive. Food is great. We have been three times. Here’s what we have tried. First visit: Pulled pork sliders — excellent. Juicy pork, creamy coleslaw in super soft buns. A FAV. Burger with Irish bacon, cheese and a fried egg on top. I forget the name but it is EGGcellent. Great flavor. My absolute FAVORITE burger. Someone else said their burger was dry. All three times ours were super moist and juicy. Side of fries. Crispy, good amount of salt. Second visit: Grilled fish tacos… they used tilapia. Their spicy sauce is really tasty. Moist fish. The only suggestion is to put two corn tortillas per taco instead of one because corn tortillas have a tendency to break. Side of creamy super cheesy macaroni and cheese. Yum. Grilled mushroom and onions burger. Again very tasty and moist with plenty of toppings. Side of fries. Last night’s visit: Grilled chicken sandwich. I wasn’t feeling so great so I opted for a plain chicken sandwich. Juicy chicken and super moist bun. Hit the spot. Side of that yummy mac n cheese. Three cheese burger. Three tasty cheeses on on big ½ pound burger. Side of fries. Appetizers we have enjoyed include fried pickles, southwest egg rolls, chips and salsa and queso and fried cheese sticks. So as you can see we have tried many things. Great people, great atmosphere and great food.

For a soft opening you need to be objective and fair. I see this place being a 5 after their growing pains are done. I really liked the place, it just needs some tweaks. Sean and the bartender Brittany were great. The fried pickles and the egg rolls were great. I think the place needs one big screen for the main game. The place is big and its too big for the normal TV’s they have. I think they also need to pipe either music or the audio for the main tv through the bar. I liked the decorations, food, service. Just needs some tweaking. I look forward to coming back in a few months and making my review a 5.
