Avoid this place by all means. I was a resident here for 3.5 years there have been a total of 3 murders and over 15 non fatal shootings (1 shootout was between 3 security staff). My apartment was burglarized twice, my cars keyed and my window broken. Security harass residents while letting guest do as they please. Your vehicle will be blocked in by neighbors guest, resident’s will shoot dice on your front porch, the kids poop and pee in the wash rooms (no laundry after 9:00 pm they will lock your clothes inside until the next day). Some units are infested and affectionately known as the «Roach House». Management uses over 78 cctv’s to surveillance activity while offering the residents no protection and having your every move being recorded. Unprofessional management, and daily police activity where you are not allowed to mingle with your neighbors 50 ft from your door, doing so is a violation of loitering and you can bet the police will be there to properly search you. it was a real great experience being searched and detained for loitering in my own parking lot while my children watched. There was also an illegal firearms scandal with an Richmond police officer supplying guns to underage security officers on the property My 5 year old witnessed a shooting outside his bedroom window and he drew many pics depicting the shooting in great detail. The parents allow their children to roam free at night with no parental supervision, children have skin rashes and ringworm infections that go untreated. This is a place where adults molest children and then murder them. This is a place where you can murder someone on this property, go to prison and get paroled back to the same address where the murder occurred. Security will tow your car even if its parked in front of your own apartment. Maintenance will charge you $ 5.00 for 1 patio blind slat
This is no place to raise a child this is a PROJECT You will find Low income housing here but you will also be treated as low income, but they will happily raise your rent it states the rent will be adjusted to 30% of your gross income but anybody who is employed only receives their net. income which makes the rent adjusted to about 45−50% of your income. So I was paying $ 900.00 a month to be harassed by security, police, residents, and management staff, while also having my vehicles towed and vandalized. In 3 years there has been 3 Property managers and in the 3.5 years I have been a resident 5 employees have been fired and they were all African American. The management is an all female staff and the property manager is a homosexual who seems to have an hatred towards men. My suggestion if you move here is to get homeowners insurance it sure came in handy after my 2^nd burglary, I would also invest in a bullet proof vest and pray you make it out alive!
