Denny’s

Seated quickly… brought us water and I ordered coffee… and waited… and waited… and got my coffee… and waited until after 15 minutes our waitress who brought the coffee realized she also needed to take our order. SMH…
French slam with grits for me and build your own for my daughter. The food was fine, but the service was not. I actually felt bad for the waitress who seemed to be a trainee, but who was getting no help from her trainer.
Too many breakfast options. I’ll try another place next time.

You know how much emphasis I put on service. Always worth a star or two. The food came out so quickly, but it was clearly prepared after I arrived. I had their Sr. lite fare omelet. Two eggs, spinach, squash, mozzarella, etc w/​English muffin and yes, I added red skinned potatoes. Coffee was really delish and my server was phenomenal. Amy brought the condiments and kept my coffee filled quickly. She was so pleasant and efficient. Hats off to a great employee. I don’t meet many servers I’d hire on the spot, I don’t have a restaurant, but if I did she’d be on my team. Cudo’s to Amy the chef at Denny’s. I can count on one hand how many chains that I give 5 stars to for food and service. Excellent breakfast, too. Keep it up! WOW!

Went there with my lady, I ordered the Philly cheese steak omelet with and English muffin and she ordered pancakes with a bowl of fresh fruit and yogurt, we asked for water and tea. Her water came with a speck of something in it so we got a new one. Food came within 10 min.
My omlet was really juicy and flavorful along with my side of red potatoes. Was very happy. I also ate some of my ladies fresh fruit and was satisfied with everything.
Waitress and host were very nice.
Ladies food was also good according to her.

We arrived at Denny’s with a large group. Instead of holding tables to get us set up, they kept seating people in front of us. We finally got seated after waiting which wasn’t that much of a problem, but it just seemed like it was a bother to the staff there. When we ordered, I ordered coffee and juice. I waited at least 10 minutes and still was not brought my drinks. Our server was sitting in a booth talking to her friends. The excuse was that she normally brings the drinks with the food… Once we got our food and drinks, it was smooth sailing. Food was cooked to order and fresh. The coffee kept getting refilled regularly. Good place for breakfast, just needs some help with customer service.

OMG!!! THEY SERIOUSLY HAVE A AWESOME COOK AT THIS DENNY’S!!! My whole family got the serloin steak dinner and every single steak was cooked perfect. It wasnt tough. It wasnt over or under cooked. It was just perfect. Kudos to the chef!!!

Mucky and sticky atmosphere which would turn off anyone who showers. Our waitress knelt down to take our order and could barely stand, unclear why this is. The glasses and silverware were clearly not cleaned, yuck! Between the poorly managed facilities and staff, this immediately is not a place you’ll want to stay! The food is typical, and is what you would expect from a chain diner.

This review is for the food, not the staff, who were friendly, courteous and quick, and not about the preparation of the food, which they did a great job with, but are limited by the quality of the foods they must prepare.
Hands down this was the worst quality food I have had since my last Birdseye frozen dinner in 1980 which was better than this garbage they serve.
Ordered Country fried Steak, mash, gravy, broccoli, chicken tenders.
The country fried steak was an inedible grisly fused meat patty that was mushy. The mashed potatoes were a rehydrated powdered mix that was metallic and flat. The broccoli was mushy and flavorless. The gravy was a flat watery mess from a mix. The chicken tenders were mushy, over-​breaded and flat.
I just cannot see why anyone would ever go here when Waffle House, River City Diner and Joe’s Inn have much better, home-​made food at the same prices.
Just awful

My guts always get a good spring cleaning from anything I get here. Cheaper than laxatives, and a lot more filling.
That aside, this Dennys it’s by far the cleanest and freshest I’ve ever been to.
The food tasted fresh, and the 2,4,6,8 menu is a nice additive to the other meals they have available, It’s a way to make your own breakfast and know exactly what it’ll cost you.

In the past, this place has either been a hit or miss. Today, it was a hit. The service was good, the food came out within 10 minutes of ordering. My only gripe would be the quality of food. Granted, this is Denny’s, but if you’re looking for a good breakfast spot, this is the place to go.
